Clean and includes much of what you may need - dishes, coffee maker, tea, linens, towels, and washcloths. Kayaks are available for use on the bay (did not use, but a nice option). Any messages sent to the owners were promptly answered. Check in and check out procedures were clear and easy. On the second floor of a separate building from the main house you'll have privacy, comfort, view and access to one of the most beautiful bays on Puget Sound. Enjoy our no-bank waterfront with view seating, lush gardens, and fire pit right on the beach.

Relax on your private deck where you can greet the morning sun with coffee & enjoy the evening shade with a glass of wine. In the foreground of your view you'll see the quiet lush Shade Garden designed by the owner, a Master Gardener.
From Crow's Nest's queen-size bed view the water and Mt. Rainier...or the very large flatscreen TV. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu & Hulu Live TV for standard tv cable services are included for those sports fans-
WiFi is very good! For those looking to do remote work, you'll find the Crow's Nest to be a quiet and easy atmosphere. We do consistently host guest who are simply looking for a change of scenery and who enjoy handling their zoom meetings & emails from laptops without issues.

Linens are provided. Laundry facilities available for those who stay a minimum of 1 week.

To reach the waterfront, you'll walk a narrow herb-filled side pathway to the right side of our waterfront home. Please feel free to use our shared dock between us and the neighbors to the left. We've had many a guest bring a blanket down to the dock to site upon and enjoy quiet time down there with their feet dangling from the sides.
Additionally, we do have a small firepit with seating which is available to use during non-winter months, so please just ask if interested!
If you'd like to stretch your muscles and do a bit of water activity, there are two orange colored kayaks and life jackets available. Feel free to paddle your way around the peaceful waters and explore Wollochet Bay. You are also welcome to bring your own paddle boards, kayaks, canoes or whatever boats you float.
Even in the WINTER, this cozy coastal retreat offers a quiet tranquility and beauty. Hundreds of unusual and beautiful migrating waterfowl visit these waters only at this time of the year. The sunsets can be quite spectacular and, with the occasional cold snap, we'll get the occasional snow once or twice a year. Our weather is temperate and seldom gets too hot (usually in the 70's and 80's in the the summer) or too cold (with winter averaging in the 40's).
Parking - we do have one available dedicated parking spot for our renters. If you do have a guest/family member in the area who would like to stop by for the day, it shouldn't be an issue. Any additional parking needs for overnight or longer term, please just inquire with us directly as parking is limited.

Make yourself at home at this darling home in a prime location south facing on Hale Passage with close-in access to shopping and freeways! This charming cottage boasts vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, hardwood floors, and easy access to a lovely bulkhead with a boathouse, firepit, picnic table, and a beach cabana.

The living room has wall-to-wall windows that let you admire marvelous views of Mt. Rainier, Fox Island, and Hale Passage's sparkling waters. It's complete with comfortable furniture, partial A/C, and a telescope so you can admire the views from a closer look. This area opens onto a large waterside deck with two beach chairs, an outdoor dining area, a hammock, Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill–just the perfect setting for barbecues. There is a short path and a flight of stairs from the deck down to the bulkhead and pristine pebble beach.

Back inside, the wood-burning fireplace between the living area and the kitchen will keep you all nice and warm during those cold months. Make sure to stock up on groceries and your favorite snacks before your trip! The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the appliances needed to whip up tasty and cost-saving meals for your guests. This retreat offers one comfortable bedroom, a full bath with a walk-in shower, and a convenient laundry room with a washer/dryer combo.

- "Words cannot describe the hospitality, charm and sense of “home” Berg’s Landing provided our family during our 3 week stay. A home with a rich tradition of history and more importantly family has been perfectly kept in-tact by Marc and Kristen (and family) and only added to the memories we take from our trip to the PNW. The neighbors / neighborhood were wonderful and the location only added to the enjoyment that Berg’s Landing provided. The beach and The Sound provided hours of activity/fun for our children and hours of peace and relaxation for us during all hours of the day. The only negative we take from our trip was not booking Berg’s Landing for 4 weeks and having to finally depart."
