They remembered our dietary requirements without needing to be reminded and had a great range of food options. Delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and it was lovely to be able to choose what we wanted rather than the standard bulk 'buffet' fare of a large chain. The beds were some of the comfiest we had ever tried, and very cosy. The only slight drawbacks were due to the age of the property, which was understandable: the noise from the road was quite loud (although we still managed to get good nights' sleep!) and some of the doors needed a bit of a shove to open/close. Limited clothing storage space for longer stays but fine for two to three nights. I would definitely recommend Harewood End Inn for anyone looking for something with local charm for a stopover, especially if you have dietary requirements to cater for. Well suited to those doing walking/hiking nearby."
