The beds were some of the comfiest we had ever tried, and very cosy. The only slight drawbacks were due to the age of the property, which was understandable: the noise from the road was quite loud (although we still managed to get good nights' sleep!) and some of the doors needed a bit of a shove to open/close. Limited clothing storage space for longer stays but fine for two to three nights. I would definitely recommend Harewood End Inn for anyone looking for something with local charm for a stopover, especially if you have dietary requirements to cater for.
