You’ve chosen a Camper Van for your Maui vacation – great choice! However, there are additional insurance requirements that aren’t typical for home share rentals. You MUST have full coverage insurance on your vehicle that meets or exceeds the Hawai`i state minimum. Additionally, you MUST contact your insurance provider and add RV coverage for the duration of your rental and you MUST provide Rent For Less Maui proof of said additional coverage. We have other booking options should additional RV coverage not be available through your insurance company; however, we are unable to honor reservations made through VRBO or Airbnb without the Renter obtaining additional RV coverage through their existing policy. The place was immaculate. We never used the on-site amenities due to our short time there and strict regulations but this place was perfect for us." - "The vehicle was great, and did everything we needed to do. The Jeep was super clean and a very nice Jeep at that. He also provided everything we could possibly need for our adventures. From a stove to kitchen supplies, a cooler, beach chairs, a 5-gallon water tank, snorkel gear to beach towels, etc. He provided it all. The tent was easy to set up/put back away as he provided a clear instruction video. He also gave us suggestions for places to camp and things to do while we were there. Enjoy the food trucks, Tin Roof Restaurant, Costco, Baby Beach (Mile Marker 6 on Hana Highway), 15 minutes to Kihei, 15 minutes to Paia, 5 minutes to Wailea, 20 minutes to Makawao. For traveling medical professionals, it's 5 minutes to the hospital and Kaiser. For students, it's next door to University of Hawaii at Maui.

Living room has a 65” LG OLED TV. Bedroom has a ½ bath ensuite with a combination washer-dryer—set it and forget it. Queen bed has a hand carved headboard from Bali. There’s a futon sofa in the living room that pulls out to a full size bed (linens in the storage drawers underneath) if you have guests.

Kitchen has an induction cook top, dishwasher, combination microwave convection oven, and an LG door-in-door InstaView refrigerator with round ball craft ice maker.

Full bath includes a custom tiled shower and plenty of bath and beach towels.

Plenty of toiletries, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, salt, pepper, dried spices, cling wrap, foil, ziplock bags, and all the basics are included. This is not one of those places where you immediately need to go to the store and spend $100 on basics. Please replenish as necessary.

Complex has a pool. You can walk to the harbor beach, although it is the harbor, and so you will probably want to drive to a pristine beach nearby.

Management and maintenance team on premises in case of problems, and owner, while off island, is responsive. Local property manager and helper on-site.

Why is this condo so inexpensive if it’s so nice? The condo complex, Harbor Lights, is a very blue-collar, local complex. It is not a tourist area and it does not have tourist amenities. There is no lanai (patio) or balcony. From the exterior, the building looks, and is, poorly maintained. It is generally safe (but don’t be an idiot) and quiet, and your neighbors are nice, but it’s not a tourist experience. If you're a closet racist, this property is not for you. Most of the residents are Marshallese, of Hawaiian descent, or Pacific Islander. Many are on Section 8 or public assistance of some kind, or have blue collar jobs.

- "Very sizable and affordable apartment for 1-2 people. Conveniently located in the middle of Maui and very easy to get to Kihei, Wailuku, Hana, and Lahaina. Great for a prolonged stay."

Due to the size of this camper vans transmission and engine it does not make the drive to Haleakala Crater or the visitor’s center. Driving to Hana is absolutely ok . Traveling between Kipahulu and Kula is not permitted as this road is dangerous, secluded and often loses due to landslides or road construction🤙🏻

- "This was the worst experience. We waisted our first day of vacation, after traveling for 13 hours, trying to resolve issues. After a full week we still have no resolution, no one reached out from VRBO in any capacity. We immediately noticed there was no cold air blowing and reached out asking for help. After being told "its never had AC" even tho AC was on just blowing hot air. I was told "we wouldnt list that the camper had new tires and we wouldnt list if it had AC, its never been a problem for anyone before". Mind you, while we are talking we are sitting in a hot vehicle in a hot parkinglot. The ad on VRBO never said there was no air/AC. On our vacation there was a geat waive and regularly high 80s-90s. It felt 100 in the passenger seat, I got burnt before we set foot out of the car.When I reached out to VRBO I was told that had nothing to do with them and I should reach out to Expedia. I was flabbergasted. Could not believe I was rudely being turned away with no sympathy and no sorrys.VRBO helped in no way after I asked repeatedly for a refund or someone to reach out to help us find another vacation rental since ours did not have AC nor bathroom which was stated in our rental. When we left our vehicle we left it at the buisness address were told we needed to take it and drop it off at random buisness further away. I still cant beleive it but when I showed up to drop off vehicle the worker came out and told me I needed to move it and it was not suppose to be there."

- "We stayed just one night here, but the location is absolutely beautiful with a view of the ocean, a pool in the courtyard, and a breezeway through the open air lobby. Upon first arriving I thought I had made a mistake because it looks like an older property. However, the owners have done a wonderful job updating the hotel. The staff was polite, and they even served free wine and snacks at 5:00. I would definitely recommend this place. Another plus is that it has an airport shuttle to the airport only 5 minutes away."
