Lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, top floor condo in downtown Ladysmith. You will be right in the heart of the action with cafes, restaurants, shopping and the Old Town Bakery within a few blocks of the unit. Transfer Beach Park and the ocean is a short walk away. As my unit is top floor, it is very quiet and relaxing. If you leave the windows open you will hear some traffic noise but other than that is very quiet. This is not a party place. The best parts about my place are the location, the views, and the atmosphere.

The only small details is some of the utensils were dirty (but could be leftover from the last guests), and sometimes upstairs there was stomping (but also they live up there - and it was always quiet by at least 11pm - just mentioning if you have a kid and/or sound sensitive dog). Would definitely book again, it was a great spot. And being able to bring your dog (up to 50lbs) was HUGE as we were up in Ladysmith for dog sports. Definitely recommend if you're in Ladysmith for a trial as it was 8min from the suite to trial grounds. The suite owners are clearly people who pay attention to big and small details! - "The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. A note was left for us saying that the host was on her way with propane, and would finish the grounds keeping. 24 hours later, no evidence of propane or cleaning, and frankly, it would have taken a team days to complete the necessary work to ready the property for rentals. And to top it off, a family tried to check in the middle of our booking. Poor people. The property was apparently double booked. In the state it was in during our stay, it should not be listed on VRBO, or anywhere."

Sleeping arrangements:

There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the family room which becomes a double bed.

The space is suitable for a small family or 3-4 adults. There is no door between the bedroom and family room, just a privacy curtain (to comply with fire safety regulations).

Family noises:

Just want to be clear that we have two young boys in the house upstairs and there will be sounds of life overhead! They go to sleep at 7:30pm so it is nice and quiet upstairs all night and we do our best to keep them quiet in the mornings for you.
