This is a well designed country home that is located in a relaxed safe country environment. It is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids). This is Country Living, a romantic private residence hidden away from the big city. This is a luxury cottage in a park like setting.

This property is an entire one level house with 3 full bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house is fully furnished and includes all the bedding and towels required for any duration of stay. Relax in the living room and watch a movie or play video games together with the PS4. Local cable is included for sports fans. The dining room has a full size dining room table with room for 6.
In the fully equipped kitchen you have beautiful quartz counters and stainless steel appliances along with a wide selection of all the utensils and tools required to prepare meals. There is a selection of basic spices and cooking supplies included. You will also find a Keurig machine with an ample supply of coffee pods and a variety of specialty teas.
There is a full sized washer and dryer with a good supply of detergent pods and dryer sheets for all of your laundry needs. There are two mini split heat pump units in the house which easily manage the temperature year round and provide air conditioning in the summer.
The back yard is a fully fenced space and it can be accessed from the side yard as well as from the primary bedroom. The driveway can easily accommodate 2 cars and there is also parking on the street if needed as well.

The house is located in a subdivision of new homes with many young families. I would ask guests to be respectful of our neighbours and remember that Nature's Backyard is a no smoking property and that the quiet hours of 10 pm to 7 am please be respected.

Normal check in time is 5pm but early check in may be an option depending on the calendar. This is a function of the availability of my cleaning provider. Please contact me ahead of time if you would like early check in and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Please use the VRBO platform for all communication. This way there is a record of all messages and no special requests or concerns are lost. I will respond very quickly using the app. I may not receive email messages directly from guests.

Our space is located close to the airport and BC ferry terminals. The Butchart Gardens (a top tourist attraction), hiking trails, and shopping are less than 10 minutes away. There is easy access to main highways and downtown Victoria is only a 15-minute drive. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The Space
Located on the property close to our family home, our recently converted barn is clean, bright, and cozy. We live in a wonderful popular road for its yummy farm-fresh fruit orchards and vineyards nearby. We are close to kayaking and hiking trails. Close to the amazing Butchart Garden and Butterfly Gardens. This is a popular location for cycling and triathlon events.
Our first floor has a TV, family room & ping-pong table. The kitchen has basic cooking tools with a fridge, stove, oven & dishwasher.
The spacious second floor has a bathroom with a standing shower, a private bedroom with a queen bed. The upstairs common area will accommodate 3 people with a pull out king bed and single day bed.

Extra bedding/floor mattress is available for children.
This barn is suited for families rather than party groups.

You will have access to the whole barn minus a few storage cupboards.

The Sunrise Suite

Beautiful and spacious, this 1000 sq. ft. private suite enjoys southern exposures overlooking the gardens and meadows of WolfShire. Enjoy your afternoon coffee while you watch our donkeys grazing in the fields against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains on the Olympic Peninsula. The Sunrise Suite has been designed and appointed with attention to details that will make your stay unforgettable. There is a comfortable living room, bright and open with a cozy fireplace and a relaxed dining space leading to your private patio. The patio is equipped with a BBQ for your culinary adventures and a outdoor dining set so you can sit and watch the colours of the sun setting as you enjoy a glass of wine. Comfort and relaxation have been the key words for the design and execution of this unique property.

The spacious master bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed with fine linens, a cozy chesterfield offering a quiet spot to read and relax as well as a desk for those who wish to work.

The second bedroom has two twin beds. This bedroom is equipped with a tv and a big cozy chair for an afternoon reading session.

The generous bathroom provides extra towels and is supplied with local soaps and shampoos for your use. Bathrobes are available for your comfort.

During your stay, we encourage you to enjoy all that WolfShire has to offer: wander through the gardens, enjoy the fruit trees and raspberry patch, sample the many herbs for your drinks and meals. The amazing views and ambiance of WolfShire lay just at your door.

- "We stayed at Kenna’s lovely suite at her farm and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Kenna is a lovely host and an amazing and inspiring lady. The farm is charming, relaxing and beautiful. While it is secluded and private, it is not far away (~10m drive) from a Cidery, grocery store, liquor store, gas station, etc. The Butchart Gardens are very close too. To summarise: Amazing host, great location and great setting for a relaxing, pleasant and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!"

- "My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The pictures do not do the suite justice and was a great first impression when we opened the door. The setup of the suite pretty much provided hotel quality service. White towels and bed linen. Toiletries, blow dryer, coffee, tea, creamer and even welcome chocolates on the table. There was cable TV, Netflix, Youtube, etc and they also provided a list of nearby dining options and other amenities. Our direct interactions with Alicia and Jerry were very pleasant informative and helpful. Would definitely choose to stay there again if ever there's a return trip!"
