Our personally owned and maintained 1 bedroom (perfect size for a couple or family with 2 small children) ,1 bath, galley kitchen, unit of Bridgewater is an oceanfront condo building located within the 24- hour security patrolled gated community of Litchfield by the Sea. Since we are personally owned and operated, we email you all your check in information ahead of time, so you just have to park the car, open the door, and unpack. No waiting in LONG lines at the reception office!! We are not managed by Litchfield By The Sea, so we have our own personal cleaning company come in and do a impeccable top to bottom cleaning. The unit sleeps 4 max and is located on the 2nd floor with easy access from 3 elevators. Our condo has 2 queen size Tempur-Pedic mattresses, wooden laminate flooring, and flat screen HD TVs in living room and bedroom. The onsite laundry room for the Bridgewater building is conveniently located on the same floor, about 5 doors away. An all season indoor swimming pool is located inside on the first level with a hot tub as well. There are miles of biking. Rentals are available at the Reception building of Litchfield, and paths lead all the way to Murrells Inlet. Walking paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to many golf courses are all at your fingertips. You have your own private access to the beach from the oceanfront Bridgewater building. Beach chaise lounge chairs/umbrella are avail for rental and will be set up for you at the beach with your name on them. Our condo has a fabulous ocean view, overlooking the oceanfront pool, hot tub and lazy river. You have a wide open view of the Atlantic Ocean. If you need more entertainment, you are 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, or 15 minutes north of historic Georgetown. You are 5 minutes away from the "Seafood Capital of SC", Murrell's Inlet. Litchfield Beach is very family oriented. Huntington State Park and Brookgreen Gardens are within a 3 minute drive. You are surrounded by several top-rated golf courses.

Are golf carts allowed at the unit? -Bridgewater does not having any charging stations for electric golf carts. Gas golf carts are not allowed. Are motorcycles permitted in the gated community? -NO motorcycles are allowed inside Litchfield By The Sea community. We have a concern, do we go to the front desk? -Since we are private owners of this property, please do not go to front desk with concerns, they can not assist you. You may call us directly so that we may help with emergeny or important concerns. Is unit supplied with essential kitchen suppplies? -Salt, pepper, sugar, plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans are all supplied. 1 paper towel roll, and 2 rolls of toilet paper are supplied for your arrival. There is a Food Lion grocery store across rte 17 for any of your other needs/ supplies. Can I call housekeeping for more towels or toiletries? -Since we manage the property ourselves, we have private cleaners come before your arrival. They do not do daily housekeeping or deliver more toiletries. We own all our linens and towels, so please do not exchange your linens with housekeeping you may see in the hallways. Are there mattress covers on all the beds?-Yes all beds have mattress and pillow covers.

This one-bedroom Luxury King Suite is located on the 1st floor above the parking garage and has spectacular oceanfront views. The Bedroom features a brand-new Sterns and Foster King mattress and 65" smart tv. Bathroom is fully updated and features Bluetooth speaker, accent / mood lighting, tamperproof shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. There is a combo washer and dryer and also onsite laundry facilities. The kitchen features quartz countertops, tile backsplash, coffee bar, dishwasher, microwave, oven and is fully stocked with plates, silverware, blender, pots and pans and more. The living area features a 75" smart TV, Queen size sofa bed with an upgraded gel mattress, eating table and desk. The indoor pool and vending machines are located on the same floor only a short walk from the unit! The outdoor pool features a lazy river and easy access to the beach. Remember to bring beach supplies and beach towels (towels in the room must stay in the room). This unit is our personal vacation home and is not part of the on-site maid service. Please treat this as someone's home.

- "The property is exactly as advertised, which is what we were hoping for. The bedroom features a comfy king size bed and bedside tables with lighting and outlets. Easy phone charging! Two luggage racks, a floor fan and superb AC. Full sized mirror, sleek dresser, lots of space. The bathroom is well designed with an incredible, spacious shower. Very nice lighting for putting on makeup. Washer/dryer combo. The kitchen features a large “farm sized” sink, dishwasher, full sized oven, fridge that makes ice. There is a small eat-in area with 3 chairs. The LR boasts a 75” tv, which we really enjoyed. It was so pleasant to sit on the sofa (queen-sized pullout bed) and watch our favorite shows. Coasters, tables, a desk area, throw blanket make for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Updated lighting throughout. Beautiful balcony with an ocean view. Nothing is overlooked in this condo. There is ample space for all belongings: hooks, “closet” spaces with hangers, beautiful floors and such soft area rugs. My husband and I celebrated a birthday and our 19th wedding anniversary there and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The design and decor is very updated. We will definitely stay at this condo again."

Summerhouse 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo on the 2nd floor in Litchfield Resort in Pawleys Island with 2 queen beds in the master and a sofa bed in the living room. Amazing view of the pool from the balcony. Located behind this building complex is an amazing swimming pool complex complete with a kids pool, lazy river, hot tub, playground and hammock. This condo is a part of the resort and you will receive a gate pass to allow access to the gated portion of the resort. Private resort beach parking with rinse off showers & bathrooms, tennis and pickleball courts & fishing piers are other amazing features!

Come and have some fun in the sun! Just a 1/2mile walk to the beach on paved sidewalks.

The check-in process is simple with a key code so we do not need to physically hand you a key, but we are available in person if you need anything.

Litchfield by the Sea is walking distance to beaches, local eateries, shops and grocery stores. Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens (the world's largest outdoor sculpture gardens) are located just 5 minutes North. Myrtle Beach(one of the country's top tourist destinations) is a 20 minute drive North and Charleston is 70 miles South.

Welcome to your home away from home!! Whether your visiting for a quick getaway or staying for an extended period, our space is set up for comfort and convenience. Wonderful one bedroom Summer House Villa located in the private seaside community of Litchfield By the Sea. This unit features a full kitchen with updated kitchenware, and living room with flat screen TV. Unit also features a private bedroom with two QUEEN size beds, with new pillows, flat screen TV and a full size bathroom. Just off the living room is a balcony that faces the Water park and pool area with plenty of seating. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room perfect for kids. This unit does not come with a washer/dryer - laundry room is on the first floor just down the hall.
The beach at Litchfield by the Sea is a short 10 minute walk or grab a shuttle in the summer which runs every 20 minutes. Included with my condo rental is a South Carolina Park Pass for Huntington Beach and other SC parks. Visit these parks with no fee!! In addition, the LBTS community offers miles of walking and bike paths that are linked to the Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island area. Also onsite is a Starbucks. The resort also has areas for fishing and crabbing, lighted tennis courts and so much more. This is truly a full service, amenity packed resort. This unit is available for nightly, weekly and monthly rentals.

- "Surprisingly, the rental was set up as 2 connected suites plus a large empty playroom. It was perfect for us (the parents) and our adult son/wife who are dog trainers. With the owners' permission, we brought two retired show dogs and had tons of room for them to play in the yard and under the house. - "We enjoyed our stay at Lakeside. The reservations were a little weird. Had to call and pay outside of VRBO. That made us a little uncomfortable. You lose the protections of doing business through VRBO that way. I hope they get that sorted out. We booked another property the same way with the same company but had to cancel it. The only way to get a refund is by check 30 days later. That is certainly not the way VRBO would have done it. Unhappy with that process."
