Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had multiple families for the first week of summer rent in/near the complex. This particular unit is near a grumpy old couple that was upset with teenagers going back and forth. They assumed that all were staying in my unit- they were not. The screen door slams if you don't intentionally slow it, and they complained about that noise one night. It was moderately justified because there was a lot of in/out up to late hours. They complained the next night of the same thing, but we were not there to make noise. We had intentionally spent the evening at another building out of courtesy. They accused the teens of moving a metal dock, because they did not realize the HOA had it replaced two days earlier. The couple's unit overlooks the dock so it was very confusing for us. They also complained that the coolers we had outside were a fire hazard. They were not in the way of the stairs or the walkway. Other than asking us to put back a dock that we had not moved and being unable to explain where it should go, they never once spoke with us about any of these complaints. We only knew because an owner on the HOA board called us. When they didn't get what they wanted from the HOA, they complained to the rental agency. We learned from owners that this couple has a reputation for being complainers. The unit itself was great. Limited cooking supplies, but very comfortable. The rental company was very responsive and accommodating. An overlooked sheet set was delivered quickly. A dishwasher issue was responded to immediately."
