Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had multiple families for the first week of summer rent in/near the complex. This particular unit is near a grumpy old couple that was upset with teenagers going back and forth. They assumed that all were staying in my unit- they were not. The screen door slams if you don't intentionally slow it, and they complained about that noise one night. It was moderately justified because there was a lot of in/out up to late hours. They complained the next night of the same thing, but we were not there to make noise. We had intentionally spent the evening at another building out of courtesy. They accused the teens of moving a metal dock, because they did not realize the HOA had it replaced two days earlier. The couple's unit overlooks the dock so it was very confusing for us. They also complained that the coolers we had outside were a fire hazard. They were not in the way of the stairs or the walkway. Other than asking us to put back a dock that we had not moved and being unable to explain where it should go, they never once spoke with us about any of these complaints. We only knew because an owner on the HOA board called us. When they didn't get what they wanted from the HOA, they complained to the rental agency. We learned from owners that this couple has a reputation for being complainers. The unit itself was great. Limited cooking supplies, but very comfortable. The rental company was very responsive and accommodating. An overlooked sheet set was delivered quickly. A dishwasher issue was responded to immediately."

This first floor unit is pet friendly. Pet fee of $100.00 ( We allow 2 dogs) The view from my dream home is incredibly beautiful.(We live upstairs in a separate unit.) With the sound of the ocean echoing over the Inlet in the still of the evening makes my humble abode a dream place to visit. With so many choices of things to do year round! Our place resides on the Waccamaw Neck bike way, which is over18 miles of paved multiple purpose trail used for walking, cycling and hiking. We are walking distances to restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating , fishing swimming etc.

You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean from the front porch swing or rockers. Watch the kids play down below in the in ground pool . The best thing is the location...all you have to do is cross the street and you are on the sand. Just a short walk to the Marlin Quay Marina where you will see lots of nice boats coming and going , and also dine at the Gulfstream cafe.

The house gardencitybeachsc has luxury vinyl tile throughout and is kept extremly clean. The fully stocked kitchen will be your delight including nice upgraded kraftmade cabinets and dishwasher. Large flat screen tv in Den as well as flat screen in each of the bedrooms.

Down stairs you will enjoy a place to hang your hammock located under the porch for that afternoon nap as well as many tables and chairs while listening the oceans majestic sounds. The pool is fenced in as well as the property itself for that added safety for little kids. Last but not least..if you find a problem call me then , dont wait till you leave . I find it very hard to correct a problem for you after you leave. My goal is for you to be happy with your stay and want to return.

We do have synthetic grass around the pool as well as a 6 hole putting green.

This all-brick cottage is surrounded by 200-year-old live oaks draped in Spanish moss, overlooking a small creek, resembling a fairytale. Located in Murrells Inlet Proper, a mile south of the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. A lovely all-brick mid-century home with incredible updates including a spacious and stunning modern kitchen, large formal dining area, coffee bar, open living area with sleeper sofa, two bedrooms each with a queen bed, one and a half bathrooms- which is actually two half-baths that share a large, tiled walk-in spa shower in between with full privacy doors. There is a queen size Murphy bed in the sunroom overlooking the rear patio with outdoor furnishings, fire pit and a propane grill. This home sleeps four adults comfortably and altogether with the pull-out sofa and Murphy bed can also accommodate four children. Dog Friendly!

There is no elevator in this condo, and this is one of only 8 condos on the ground floor which is a huge plus, and most of the other ground floor condos are not for rent. This one is just steps from the beach. Under new ownership as of May 2024, many updates have been made to the unit. Bedrooms were updated last fall and the kitchen is being updated now in early 2025 with quartz countertops, fresh paint, a new sink and faucet, and new hardware. This condo has excellent ratings and reviews.

Southpointe Villas offers an intimate setting, a spacious beach, and a very private feel. The oceanfront pool (open Easter through Oct. 31st) is near the walkway over the dunes. There is a rinse-off station on the walkway and an outdoor shower by the pool. Southpointe Villas has only 24 units, so communal areas are typically uncrowded making for a perfect family getaway. This wide, long stretch of beach has very limited public access. It is located 2.4 miles south of the Garden City Pier.

Southpointe Villas is the southern-most condo complex of Murrells Inlet/Garden City before reaching the point. It is fully gated with a private beach access in an area with mostly private homes. You never need to fight the crowds for beach space! It is within walking distance to the popular Gulfstream Cafe and Marlin Quay Marina. Many other restaurants, golf courses, shops, etc. are within an easy drive.

This condo has been listed on VRBO in the past by the Miles Family. We purchased it from them and have replaced the queen bed in the master bedroom with a new king-sized bed. We replaced the double bed in the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bedrooms have new flooring and new area carpets. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom.

The master bedroom also has a full bath, en-suite. The second bedroom with the queen bed and a set of bunk beds and a full bath just outside the bedroom door. The sleeper sofa in the den folds out to a double bed.

The unit includes Wi-Fi, two flat-screen TVs, and a DVD player. We also have a blue-tooth system in the den. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a patio with a view of the landscaped side yard. Outside grills are available for use on the grounds. We have a small, stackable washer/dryer, however, if you need to do a large load, there is a coin-operated laundry room available for guests just below the pool on the edge of the complex. Check-out cleaning is included. Linens and bath towels are also included. Bring your own beach items and beach towels.

Shade awnings are allowed on the beach here in Georgetown County unlike Horry County to the north. There is plenty of local wildlife including birds and turtles.

Please know that the HOA does enforce the following rules for renters:
-No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere in the unit or on the balcony. (Includes vaping)
-No pets.
-No recreational vehicles.
-No golf carts or trailers.
-No parties or events.

The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire period that the unit is occupied. A photo ID may be requested for proof of age.

Violation of policies/rules may result in eviction and loss of rent paid including deposits.

Guests will be sent the door code the day of check-in after the housekeeper has finished cleaning. Your code works from check-in time (4 p.m.) until check-out time at 11 a.m..

Be sure all dishes/cookware are clean and put away.
Place dirty linens and towels in the hall bathroom tub.
Leave no food you brought with you. Bag all trash and put in dumpster out front.

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. The GUEST bedroom has ONE queen size bed, perfect for two. There’s a dresser and a closet to hang your clothes. The bathroom across the hall is private for the guests’ use only.

These community pool is a short drive from house.

During your stay
This is a room for rent in a private home. The co-host (and our dog Oreo) lives on the property and is available for assistance.

The home has always been well maintained. We take pride in the cleanliness of the room, as well as the shared common spaces. Hand sanitizer, hand soap, and plenty of TP here!

Also, please know there is a dog who also lives in the house. She’s friendly, but takes a minute to get to know you.

We are on the Waterfront Marsh View. This is a tiny cozy room with a built in twin bed. We have beautiful sunrises and views of the Inlet from our patio. The East Coast Greenway Bike Path runs in front of our home. (Bring your bicycle) Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens 1 mile South of us.
The Marsh Walk is 2 miles to the North.
Grahams Landing Restaurant is one lot over from us.
Southern Hops is across the street with artisan beer and food

The space
The First Mate room is a tiny quaint room on the first floor ground level of our home. We provide an Architectural drawing of this small cozy space. (please look at the dimensions of this room) Our home overlooks the beautiful Marsh and Inlet. We have a A fire pit with comfortable chairs and Pawleys Island Hammock. With a built in cozy twin bed, t.v., keurig coffee maker, coffee, small refrigerator, air conditioner, heater, robe, snack, shared bathroom. You can have your coffee on our back porch overlooking our Marsh. We have a Huntington Beach State Park Pass for your use during your stay , which is less than two miles. Also, available the backyard with comfortable rocking chairs, Pawleys’s Island hammock, fire pit with panoramic views of the Inlet.

Other things to note
The First Mate is on the ground floor adjacent to the exterior door. The First Mate’s shared bathroom is on the second floor. Come up the interior stair to the second floor foyer turn left into the living room. The shared bathroom is straight ahead. There a silver anchor above the bathroom door.

Come and enjoy this private patio entrance, spacious room with king-size bed, full bath with tile shower, designated workspace, and fire pit. We are located minutes from Garden City Beach, and the incredible MarshWalk, including the best seafood restaurants in the state. Beatrice and I have a little slice of Heaven here in Murrells Inlet. This is an all brick single-family ranch home. Your room has a private entrance through your own private patio. The room itself is a lockout master bedroom. There are no shared spaces. You’ll enjoy complete privacy in your very own patio and spacious bedroom.

We are on the Waterfront. We have beautiful sunrises and views of the Inlet from our porch. The East Coast Greenway Bike Path runs in front of our home. (Bring your bicycle) Huntington Beach State Park( we have a park pass for you) and Brookgreen Gardens one mile South of us.
The Marsh Walk is two miles to the North.
Grahams Landing Restaurant is next door, within walking distance.
Southern Hops across the street with Artisan beer and food.

The space
The Sailors' Delight room has a navy nautical decor. It is located on the front of our home. You can drink your coffee while you sit on the back porch, to enjoy the scenic Inlet view overlooking our Marsh and Huntington Beach State Park. Your room has a small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, T.V., robes, and snack.

Lovely Studio with water view. Located on a very quiet street surrounded by nature and wild life. Short distance to marina and the famous Marsh-Walk.

You’ll love the stylish decor of this charming place to stay. Decorated with the ‘beach’ vibe. One block from the beautiful Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and Restaurants.This is a totally private area at the back of our home. You will have access to the pool, hot tub and private deck. There is a refrigerator in your room as well as a stocked coffee bar. There are other toiletries available if you forget anything. Bath and pool towels are in the room.

Other things to note
Murrells Inlet us known for great seafood. Live bands nightly at most of the Marshwalk restaurants.

One bedroom / attached bath with private entrance and attached deck. Located in quiet, residential neighborhood off 707 in Murrells Inlet. Guests can relax on the back deck or enjoy the front porch (covered/shaded). Located on .75 acres, there is a spacious yard. We have a few bee hives on/around the property - we've had honey bees for years and never had any issues - just want guests to bee-aware.

Bedroom with attached bath and small private deck. You can also enjoy any of the outdoor space - covered front porch and specious yard. There is a also a fire pit area that is great for sitting/relaxing but the county often has burn bans in place so fires not permissible.
