The Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club operate independently from BHI Vacations, and guest memberships must be purchased directly through each club. Availability varies by home listing, and during the summer season, memberships may sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend securing your club membership as early as possible.

Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.

The Star Cottage is located on the waterfront in the Bald Head Island Marina with water views as well as sunset views. You are within walking distance to Jule’s and Dephina's Restaurants. The cottage comes with local digital TV as well as wireless internet and Netflix. A four passenger golf cart is included. We can provide a temporary membership to the BHI Club for an additional charge if you are interested. Being located in the harbor, you are on the water and across the street is the dock to the Bald Head Island Creek, where you can kayak and paddleboard. Sailing is available in the marina. Our home is ready and willing to host couples wanting to getaway and have a fully furnished private cottage on Bald head Island. We have a completely stocked kitchen, 2 full baths, screened porch and living area on the lower level; upstairs balcony off the master with views of the Bald Head Creek. The master bedroom has a new Pottery Barn King size bed for our guests. This Island jewel has been completely renovated with Pottery Barn furniture, accessories and linens. We have a 4 seat golf cart for your transportation needs.
Our home is located in The Harbor Village district of BHI. Many amenities are available by a short walk. The Village is the center of recreational activities, such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. There are several restaurants, Old Baldy our resident lighthouse, The Bald Head Island Chapel, and beach accesses 1,2, and 3.
Our home is constantly monitored by security cameras for the safety of our guests and our property. Views by the cameras are those similar to views from public spaces in the street and otherwise.
As the home owns Membership at The Shoals Club, our guests have the optional amenity to purchase a Temporary Guest Memberships directly with The Club through registering on their Website. The Club then authenticates with us as to whether a booking is in place with our property.

Shell Cottage at Cape Fear Station invites you to Bald Head Island! BHI is a unique and peaceful island accessible by a 20 minute passenger ferry or private yacht. The island has golf carts and biking as the mode of transportation. Shell Cottage is within walking/biking distance to East Beach—one of the most favored beaches on the island—Turtle Conservancy, and Mike's Bites. Shoals Club is located conveniently close with a temporary membership available with a daily/weekly pass for an additional fee. The Maritime Market (grocery) is located 8 minutes by golf cart from the house with shopping and spa available. The Marina is located 12 minutes from the house with restaurants and many activities available.

"Air" Cottage is very conveniently situated on the water in the Marina, minute walks from shops and restaurants, Old Baldy lighthouse, and across the street from a great spot to rent bikes, paddleboards, etc.
And of course, being at the marina, you get to watch the boats come in.
It's a 5 minute walk to the shore, and there's lots of shell-seeking opportunities to be had on all of the beaches that surround the island.
10 min cart ride to excellent grocery store, and more shops, restaurants, etc.

Once arrived onto Bald Head Island, "Air" is a short walk around the marina, or a slightly longer swim (please don't!). We are located across from The Inn at Bald Head Island.

Welcome to "Not On Call", a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage in Cape Fear Station, near East Beach. Sleeps 4-5. Located just 2 minutes by golf cart to the favored East Beach, and walking distance to the Turtle Conservancy, Mike's Bites, and the Commons Park.

Our cottage was updated in 2020. Remodeled kitchen with quartz countertops, marble backsplash, new stove, and dishware. Bath and beach towels are provided. New interior paint and decor, new rugs and leather chaise. Dining table and master vanity with quartz countertops. We pride ourselves on keeping our home fresh, tidy, and clean. We do have a no pets and no smoking policy.

The first floor has a bright entryway, a garage for the 4-seater golf cart, a bedroom with queen-sized bed, wall mounted television, and full bathroom with walk-in shower.

The second floor contains the living room with a comfortable sofa, arm chair, and leather chaise, updated kitchen with new appliances, dining nook, and closet with full-sized washer/dryer.

The third floor is a family suite with a teak queen bed and side tables, a twin over full bunk bed, large vanity, and a full bathroom with walk-in shower.

Wall mounted television in first floor bedroom, as well as a large flat screen and Blu-Ray DVD player in the living room. Both televisions are smart TVs. There is a large movie library, as well as board games and puzzles.

Beach chairs, and beach towels are provided. We have a few adult-sized bicycles that are kept outside and are available for your use. Please note the bicycles are in "as is" condition - guests are welcome to use them or, if they prefer, they can rent bicycles from one of the on-island shops.

Guests have the option of purchasing a temporary guest membership to Bald Head Island Club, allowing guests to access pools, waterslides, golf, tennis, pickleball, croquet, and multiple restaurants and coffee bar. The pools are heated through the end of October and re-open in April. The Sumners Crescent community has a shared deck with benches for relaxing. There is also a charcoal grill at the cottage.

BHI also offers historical tours, kayak rentals, bicycle rentals, guided fishing trips, turtle conservancy, nature trails, shopping, crabbing, etc. So much to enjoy, whether visiting in the midst of summer or in the off-season.

We are also the owners of “Fish N’ Chips”, a larger 4 BR home just a few doors down - perfect if you are looking for a second home for friends or family.

Experience Bald Head Island like a local in this Newly Renovated bedroom and 2 bath condo. The bedrooms feature a queen bed in the Master bedroom and two twin beds in the Guest bedroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower and the guest bathroom is a shower/tub combination. The bathrooms have all the essentials, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer. This beautiful condo also offers wifi, Smart TV’s which are located in the living room and Master bedroom. The unit also comes with a stackable washer and dryer. * I also supply the washing pods and fabric softener for your convenience.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need…plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, 12 cup coffee pot and Keurig coffeemaker with a selection of coffee pods. A basic selection of spices and cooking oil.

For getting around the island the condo comes with a 4 passenger golf cart or pedal round the island on the 2 adult bikes. I also have provided everything you need for the beach, (4) beach chairs, a beach umbrella and you will also find plenty of beach towels for your stay.

*The Royal James Landing condo offers the community pool which is very well maintained and kept during the Spring through early Fall season. If you have small children this will be their favorite spot. You will find charcoal grills and picnic tables also in the pool area.

With 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, it is perfect for 2 couples or a family with children. Located in the tranquil neighborhood of Surfman's Walk, it is only a short bike ride or golf cart to East Beach or Shoals Club.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, ride to the market for coffee, and spend your days at the beach.

We have a one year old so have outfitted the house to be well equipped for young families.

Kid features: 2 pack and plays, a large walk in closet that fits one of the pack and plays for baby/toddlers to sleep in (completely dark with outlets for monitors), Dohm sound machines in both rooms, a high chair, and an inflatable bath tub. We also have seatbelts on the golf cart for extra safety while driving around. Additionally, if you would like help in securing a babysitter for some days or nights during your time on the island, we are happy to provide a few resources to find those. We always love having the option of an adults night out and there are tons of sweet high school + college girls on the island with their family during the summer who love to babysit.

PETS: We do allow a maximum of one pet, no cats (dogs only) and must be small or medium size. Please note there will be a pet fee and pets are not allowed on the furniture.

Golf cart was in good repair, though we only used it a few times because restaurants are within walking distance. If you love Harbour Village and the close walking proximity to stores, Jules' Restaurant, Boathouse for brunch, Whil of the Wisp, the beach and ferry, you will love the location of the Sea Horse Cottage. The views are breathtaking from the expansive waterfront porches. Enjoy the screened in porch on the 1st floor or sunbathe and relax overlooking the water views on the 2nd floor. Your kids will love the bunk room that sleeps 2 in the loft. It has the best views in the house from the top bunk, including Old Baldy Lighthouse. The upstairs BR has two double beds with a private half bath and an upper deck for sunbathing and water views . The open floor plan in the Kitchen/Dining/Living great room allows everyone to socialize with open access to the deck overlooking the ocean. Sunset views in the evening are amazing. Villa 44 is in a prime location on Bald Head Island. Only 1 mile from the ferry landing, and steps away from both the beach access and the Bald Head Island Club. The villa is also well situated in the complex with a large open area in front for the children to play - lots of space to play ball and enjoy a gathering around the BBQ. Welcome to "Marooned Five". We enjoy sharing our home so others can experience the beauty and magic of Bald Head Island. Our home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully stocked kitchen (renovated March 2024 and 2022!) & a spacious loft for the kids.

Located in Royal James Landing, a private pool and picnic area are available for use just a few steps away. There are 6 bikes (4 adult/ 2 child) & 2 4-person golf carts. Guest memberships for the BHI Club are available for an additional fee.

The space
Our home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen and a loft with 2 single beds. Festive gatherings are easily accommodated in the open concept living, dining room and kitchen as well as two outdoor decks.

Newly renovated in 2024 with premium LVP flooring, paint, dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, TVs and art work. A new L-Sectional in 2023 and the newly renovated kitchen in 2022 is well-stocked with a crock pot, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookie sheets, instant pot, All Clad pots and pans, full size refrigerator with ice Maker, dishwasher, etc. Our home has 4 TVs with Roku access. There are several board games and puzzles. For outdoor adventures the boogie boards, bikes and beach chairs/ umbrellas are located in the garage.

Our home backs up to the golf course, and is a 2 minute golf cart ride to the beach and BHI Club. Minutes to the market and the marina.

Enjoy the beach and all the amenities of the BHI Club. Bike the island, explore Old Baldy, nature hikes through the maritime forest, and check out the pristine surroundings the island has to offer. BHI is a wildlife preserve, and nesting ground to the endangered loggerhead turtle. Annually in the early summer, female loggerheads return and lay their eggs on the shores of BHI. The nests hatch mid to late summer and visitors do have opportunities to see the baby turtles. The BHI Conservancy, is a great place to visit and has lots of info to offer.

If you feel like just relaxing for the day, take a few steps out the front door and enjoy the private RJL community salt water pool (Memorial Day till end of Sept) and BBQ on the charcoal grills. Enjoy a glass of wine and read a book from the decks.

The BHI club (guest membership required) has an amazing Aquatics center, playground, fitness center, tennis, pickleball and croquet courts (+) and restaurants only open to members and guests. Our home does NOT have golf privilege. For more information visit the BHI Club guest memberships area to reserve at least 10 days prior to arrival.

There are two 4-person golf carts and 6 bikes available for use.

Escape to Bald Head Island to our own little piece of paradise! We are in the charming area of Keeper's Landing located in Cape Fear Station. Cape Fear Station is known for its family setting with the Commons just around the corner, the Shoals Club and East Beach, which is the southern-most point of the East Coast. Our home has been professionally decorated and is completely stocked to make your vacation effortless.

Escape to Bald Head Island to our own little piece of paradise! We are in the charming area of Keeper's Landing located in Cape Fear Station. Cape Fear Station is known for its family setting with the Commons just around the corner, the Shoals Club and East Beach, which is the southern-most point of the East Coast. Our home has been professionally decorated and is completely stocked to make your vacation effortless.

The kitchen, living and dining room are located downstairs with a very open floor plan, and includes one of the two master bedrooms with a bathroom and a King-size bed. Upstairs consists of the second master suite with a private bath and King-size bed; and a guest room, "the kids’ pad" with Bunk Beds, a sleeper sofa, an additional twin bed and their own private bath. Just steps away from the kids’ room is a private media room with a TV and a sleeper sofa.

Speaking of kid friendly we have provided for your ease a high chair, pack-and-play, and custom built baby gates at the top and bottom of the staircase. As far as outdoor space, the 2nd floor master has its own private balcony, and we also have a large screened porch off the living room with a large dining table, a spacious deck right out the screened porch, which is perfect for grilling or just lounging! Also just around the corner is the community creek access. We have included kayaks for your enjoyment!

We have one 4-passenger and one 6-passenger golf carts and plenty of beach gear. We also have club privileges to the Shoals Club and lifestyle membership to the BHI Club, which may be purchased to enjoy during your stay. We are grateful to have our own little piece of paradise and we look forward to having you as our guests! We know you will make just as many wonderful memories!
