Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Smart televisions come with digital channels. Housekeeping is provided on request.

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee out on the front porch watching the gorgeous sunrise - there may be egrets flying by, or pelicans grabbing a morning snack - the serenity and beauty will surely be an experience like no other! All three of our upstairs guest rooms have stunning waterfront views!

Waterside Retreat makes every effort to provide all necessities and extra amenities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, such as bath robes, hair dryer, bath/toiletry supplies, bath/beach towels, facecloths, etc. Each room has a private TV (Apple TV, numerous movie channels, etc.) and full wireless internet access. There is a common coffee station upstairs for all guests to use (Keurig) in addition to our main level full continental breakfast. In addition,light snacks are provided in all the rooms and water/non-alcoholic beverages are available at all times, as well as an afternoon 'Happy Hour." Guests have access to main sitting areas on ground level of the house, plus full access to front and back porches and front yard, which includes the in-ground heated pool, patio area and dock to enjoy the gorgeous views of the Inlet!

We are a five minute walk to the Marshwalk, one of the most popular destinations in the Grand Strand area, which boasts the best seafood in South Carolina! The Marshwalk is a half mile boardwalk along a salt water estuary that offers incredible views and no shortage of activities: enjoy waterfront dining, live music nightly, water sports, charter fishing, sightseeing tours, kayaking, shopping and seasonal local events!

We are also located on the Murrells Inlet Bike Path - bike or hike the Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, a popular multi-purpose path that extends over 12 miles from Murrells Inlet to Litchfield Beach!

Then this is the place for you!!! This is an excellent location with easy access to everything from N Myrtle Beach to Pawleys Island! Affordable prices so you can spend it on fun!

The space
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the guest house is ideal for retreating for some quiet time after a day of fun at the beach or on the Grand Strand. The guest house is separated from the main house by a four car garage. Your stay will be private and uninterrupted by the hosts, but hosts are steps away to help if needed. The Guest House is 700 + square feet with full kitchen and washer dryer, and it is significantly more accommodating than a hotel room. It has everything you need to have a quiet and comfortable stay while enjoying everything that Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and the Grand Strand has to offer. Motorcycles are not allowed. Only 7 to 10 minutes driving time from being on Garden City Beach with your toes in the sand. Garden City Beach is a quieter, less crowded alternative to Myrtle Beach. Only 20 - 25 minutes to the heart of the action in Myrtle Beach. Only 5 minutes to Murrells Inlet for some water sports, fishing, and the best seafood restaurants in town. Brookgreen Gardens, the Lowcountry Zoo, and Huntington State Park is 10 minutes down the road. Here for golf? Less than 20 minutes from Caledonia and True Blue golf courses in Pawleys Island, and you can make it to North Myrtle Beach in less than 35 minutes using Hwy. 31, with all other golf courses in between. We have plenty of parking to accommodate multiple vehicles.

"Named Storm" rules. We live in an area prone to "Named Storms". This means tropical storms and hurricanes, which often spin off tornados. The Guesthouse is located near a wooded area and could be susceptible to falling trees. For this reason, we will carefully assess the storm and determine if we have any concerns for your safety. Once the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration names a storm, we will be monitoring it very closely. Many (most) people downplay and underestimate the impacts that these storms can have (even locals). These storms can often escalate at the last minute. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if a "Named Storm" is projected to affect our area. We will not cancel your reservation unnecessarily and will take great caution in making our decision. We will meet with you to discuss the situation and determine best plan of action. We may ask you to move to a local hotel for one night while the storm passes through. If we ultimately decide to cancel your reservation, we will give a full refund for any remaining nights in your reservation. If we ask you to move to a local hotel for one night, we will refund the amount of one night stay. We want to be fair and equitable and ask that our guests respect the anxiety that comes with hosting during a "Named Storm" event. All guests must follow mandatory evacuation orders, and guests will not be allowed to stay if we (the host) voluntarily evacuate (generally we evacuate for Cat 3 or higher storms).

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT:
Booking party must be age 18+ and must be present at the home for the duration of the stay.
No one under the age of 18 will be permitted on the property without their parent or legal guardian.
Violation is grounds for removal from property without refund.

This is a quiet family oriented neighborhood. Please respect the privacy of the neighbors and be sure your presence does not impact the neighborhood.

Starter supplies are provided. More specifically, we provide travel sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap (1 to 3 of each based on the size of your group). Additionally, 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 rolls of paper towels are provided and two trash bags. Four (4) coffee K-Cups are also provided. Bath towels and linens are provided.

Two (2) Smart TVs include apps for Spectrum local TV service, as well as Netflix. Specialty apps for HBO GO, HULU, Amazon Prime, et al are available for those who have their own subscriptions and logins.

This spruced up downstairs apartment offers a full kitchen and living room. You are steps away from the popular Murrels Inlet marshwalk, and a close-drive to the beach, state parks and Brookgreen Gardens!

The upstairs of the home is a separate unit - please be respectful of all guests!

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite on bottom floor of 2 story home.

Full kitchen stocked with cooking basics. Enjoy preparing and enjoying a meal from home or grabbing takeout from any of the wonderful restaurants nearby!
Relax in the comfortable living room and stream your favorite shows or movies from the Smart TV. Relax with friends and family around the fire pit outside.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and opens up to a lovely screened porch for enjoying the beautiful coastal weather

Parking for 1 car - Parking spot is labeled. Entire guest suite is yours for your stay. Outside of the home is a shared space.

Pets welcome with $60 pet fee. The outside of the home is a shared space so please make sure your pet is comfortable possibly seeing other people or pets!

Our quaint little cottage is called The Flip Flop Inn. We are located approximately a mile from the famous Marshwalk for dining and live music. It is a short drive to the beach. This former garage is 2 stories with a full kitchen, bath downstairs and a gueen bed upstairs. The decor is tastefully tacky, bright and beachy.

The space
The guest house is a former garage that we closed in for folks to visit. It is only attached to our home by a breezeway. You will share the driveway with us, and we have some outdoor space as well. There is a full kitchen, bath w/shower, nice sitting area, dining table, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a bedroom area upstairs with a queen bed.

There will be a key available for the cottage...and that building is all yours!

Parking is available right in front of the door to the cottage but is limited so we ask our guests to arrive in one vehicle.
