Property is located one block from the south causeway accessing Pawleys Island. Ample parking is on site. Ask about special parking needs.

Located 1 mile from the ICW and approximately 3 miles from Pawleys Island’s beaches.Plenty of room to park a boat or motorcycles. The studio has a brand new kitchen with new cabinets and appliances, perfect for whipping up a quick breakfast.Historic Georgetown is a quick 15 min.There's also Brookgreen Gardens,and the shops and restaurants of Pawleys Island. Beach chairs & towels and a 2 person kayak available.

Pawleys Island is dog and family-friendly, and has kept its salt marshes for a truly Low -Country feel. If you enjoy fishing, duck hunting, birding, kayaking and simply sunning, you are in the right place!
The Bella has a light, airy, spacious feel that our guests always comment on feeling much bigger than it looks due to the open layout. It has a mostly private bedroom area with brand new mattress, romantic lit garland above the bed, and situated under trees in a secluded, fully-fenced, rustic setting, and equipped with a clothesline for suits and towels.
We are clean conscious, changing the Comforter and bathroom rugs out between each guest, vigorous cleaning of all surfaces, leaving a cleaning kit in the closet , and bleaching of all bathroom fixtures. The rest of it is cleaned with more organic type cleaners so you don't face overexposure to chemicals.
We want you to feel comfortable and have a home away from home where you can enjoy the beautiful area. Feel free to look through the closets and spaces to discover what's available to use.
The neighborhood beacons walks and bicycling to discover all the natural beauty Hagley Estates has to offer. You will see River views, beautiful landscapes, and plenty of hawks, owls, and even Eagles here.
The kitchen is modern, and includes full service for 4 dinnerware, wine glasses, a Mr. Coffee Mini that we stock with starter raw sugar packets, ground coffee, powdered creamer, electric kettle, microwave, 2- burner STOVETOP, a toaster oven, and a full sized fridge. There is NO OVEN.
We give our guests ample space, but welcome interaction and welcome up to 2 DOGS, (no Shephards) upon PRE-approval for only $70 total for the entire stay. YOU MUST STATE THE BREED AND WEIGHT IN YOUR RESERVATION REQUEST. NO CATS.
You can rent a Golf Cart that will deliver to the driveway (guidebook) and drive a short distance to the small Heron, Egret,& Fishermen-lined Causeway that leads to the beautiful, dog-friendly, naturally-preserved beaches of Pawleys Island, with provided beach towels and chairs.
We also have two 26" bikes for your use. Bring your helmets or baby seats. Or, rent a kayak and have it delivered for free (see Guidebook).
Charleston is a little more than an hour away, The Marsh Walk(a mile long stretch of restaurants, many with an Inlet view and live music)in Murrells Inlet is only 13 miles, and Myrtle Beach is only 24 miles. Please see The Guidebook section of your "My Trips" for other local favorites.
You are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the main house as long as we're home. Staying longer? Drop off your supplied sheets and we'll give you a new set each week.

Besides your amenities you have access to the firepit , bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, free boat launch (0.3 mile walk) , and laundry ( please notify us to ensure we will be home to let you in).
Other things to note
Currently, there is no paved walkway from the parking to The Bella. There IS a Bella Buggy for luggage and grocery hauling, as the path is about 80 ft long. We are improving for next season, but be prepared for a defined, but dusty pathway to the Bella.
There is no ice maker on the fridge so we keep a bin of ice and extra trays in the freezer at all times. There is NO OVEN, but a nice 2 burner stove top, toaster oven, and microwave, as well as your own outdoor grill on your private patio.
We have 2 -26" bikes and 2 beach towels, & 2 beach chairs available for your use upon request.
The bathroom steps up 10 inches. Clothesline is located out back, for use with any wet towels or suits.
This is the perfect getaway for someone wanting peaceful surroundings, but wants access to all the action. The cottage includes a full bath, kitchenette, micro-wave, fridge, 2 burner stove, garbage disposal, TV, AC/heat, wifi, and its own balcony that overlooks the beautiful pool. You will have use of the pool, grills, fire pit and the golf cart. The beach is just a short 3 mile cart or car drive. Close to Myrtle B., Murrells Inlet & Georgetown
The space
This is a fully self contained and private unit located on the top floor of our outdoor building. It is not connected to the house, where we have one other unit. The lower lever has a workshop which is not used during a quest's stay. Your own private balcony overlooks the large backyard and pool in which you will have the use of.
Guest access
You can come and go as you please and use all grills, tables, chairs, golf cart and pool. You will need to open the privacy gate in front of the golf cart to come and go with the cart. The gate remains unlocked. You will have your own private drive on the front left of the house. This is the gate that you can enter and leave from. When arriving, you will need to park here and go through the gate and straight to the balcony steps that lead to the studio. You will have your own pass code for the keyless lock to enter the unit.
Other things to note
A map is provided for you showing what routes you can take with the golf cart to go to the beach, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. You can also use your car if you prefer. Please check out our online guidebook for restaurants and other local attraction recommendations. You can access that by opening my profile in Airbnb.
If you wish to bring a trailered boat with you, the driveway will accommodate that. There is a boat landing (Hagley Landing) to the Waccamaw River at the very end of the road we live on (Hagley Drive). It is less than 2 miles from the house. If you head south on the river, it opens to the Atlantic Ocean. If you head north, it eventually connects to the Intercostal Waterway. There are restaurants, marinas and points of interest along the way.

Nestled in a private Lowcountry setting this Carriage House features a large living dining area with one bedroom, king bed, one bath, a full kitchen and laundry. Guests have the entire second floor of the dwelling accessed by a flight of stairs with a private entrance. Conveniently located within a couple miles you will find public beach accesses with parking, boat landings, golf and restaurants. Owner lives in separate house on the property.
The space
Midway Cottage is located midway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Waccamaw River. It is 2.9 miles from the First Street beach access with parking. You will find several other beach accesses with parking and boat landings on the island.

Guest have the entire second floor of the dwelling with access up
a single flight of stairs and a private entrance. Not ADA accessible.
