There are also mini-fridges in each of the 4 cabins. Full sized washer & dryer Lots of beds, separate sleeping spaces and full bathrooms Remote. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The bad: The pool was unusable for our entire stay (we stayed 3 nights). We were informed the morning of arrival that the pool pump wasn’t working and would be fixed asap. The next day, I messaged to ask if there was an update on when the pool might be fixed, and my message was never responded to. Not having a pool was a huge disappointment with our group that had 6 kids. The bunk room/game room was unusable as well due to a super strong smell (we think varnish?) that would make you light headed. The room itself is super cute and would be a great space to hang out & sleep 4 on the two sets bunk beds if not for the odor. Luckily there were enough beds for our crew without using that room, but would have been more a problem if we were relying on those beds. Wish we had known: The river in front of the property is not flowing (this may be seasonal - not sure). We were able to use the kayaks/paddle board to get across to rocks on the other side of the “cove” and then hike over the rocks to a spot that had little rapids/flowing water which is where we sat, swam & hung out. "

Come out to the quiet and tranquil country like setting on the Llano River. Escape the busy race for a bit and come see nature at its best! Sit back and relax while gazing and listening to the crystal clear water trickling over the granite rock outcroppings. Enjoy modern conveniences in the remodeled river cabin with the exception of a traditional indoor stove (see kitchen details for other cooking equipment). The comfy Living room is equipped with a smart TV and there is a gaming console/tv in the guest bedroom. Families are welcome with lots of room to roam for children of all ages. There is plenty of gradual sloping land between the cabin and river for play. The cabin is safely located approximately 150 yards from the waters edge out of any flood plains. Come out and enjoy outdoor cooking, grilling or smoking while taking in the distant views from the huge deck. There is a small fire pit with Mesquite wood provided for some s’more roasting! Three kayaks are available for use if you decide to venture down the incredible Llano River and take in the Hill Country(bring along life jackets). The river is approximately 200’ wide at the property offering 2 rapid locations directly in front of the property. One rapid is close to the bank with easy bank access and the other is out towards the middle of the river. The water depth varies from gravely shallows close to the bank to deeper type holes out towards the middle. Several trees shade the bank for your favorite lawn chair and one tree even shades the water next to the small rapids gravely and sand area. Wildlife is abundant in the area with a possibility of seeing a beaver that lives in the area. The fishing is great in this area with catfish and bass. The property has plenty to offer if you love the outdoors and is quite comfortable to rest up and catch some peaceful sleep.

Retreat to the Pike House on Comanche Creek overlooking a beautiful horseshoe bend of Comanche Creek. Roam freely on approximately 73 acres in the heart of Hill Country less than 1 hour from Austin, 20 minutes to Lake LBJ/Marble Falls, 30 minutes to the Wine Trail and about 45 minutes to Fredericksburg. The rustic cabin offers a full size kitchen and masonary fireplace. With 2 bedrooms, the primary is host to a king size bed and second bedroom with a lower full size bunk, upper twin and seperate twin bed. Exceptionally peaceful and tranquil, its a great place to recharge and enjoy quality time with friends and family. The whole ranch is yours to enjoy: power naps, beverages Creekside, enjoying a good fire, wildlife viewing, fishing (depending on drought), kayaking, side by side cruising, hiking, star gazing, road trip to Llano or Horseshoe Bay for good eats. - "I can genuinely say we had an incredible time. The vibe is total tranquility. From the comfortable accommodations to the large chime in the patio area and the far away squeak of the windmill. Andi is a fantastic communicator. She reaffirmed throughout the process that the creek bed would be dry; our expectations were completely set before traveling out to the property. The absence of water in no way diminished our experience. Andi offered us an early check in and late check out, informed us about spotty cell service and no Wi-Fi; this was not an issue for us as we were looking to unplug. Wildlife! We saw buck, longhorn, porcupine, lizards, toads and turtles. The pinnacle of my experience was birding: Great Blue Heron, Painted Bunting, Blue-gray Gnat Catcher and Summer Tanager! If you're a birder, this property is a real treat (the place is lousy with Tanager and Bunting)! Our dogs were with us, we went on several walks around the grounds. I would recommend that unless your dog is your shadow or has excellent recall, you should consider keeping them leashed. The golf cart was such a wonderful addition, we took it out each day checking out the different flora and fauna. The kitchen is fully stocked and the propane grill was great for our dinners. There are binoculars in the kitchen which I used for ogling birds, there is ample outdoor seating and the house is even stocked with some games! When we left we kept saying what an amazing time we had. Highly recommend."

- "Great place to get away from it all. Love to see the place when the creek is full but that not take away from the fabulous location and views. The temp we temperatures were over 100 degrees when we stayed but sitting on the patio under the shade of the oak trees was a great way to relax and forget about the world. Our Llano River House sits on 5 acres covered in oak, persimmon and mesquite trees and overlooking the Llano River. The house is set back from the river out of the flood plain. We have an outdoor pavilion with seating for 17 on the bluff overlooking the river. The pavilion has clear view of the sky and is perfect for stargazing. Across the river there are thousands of acres of untouched ranch land as far as the eye can see. The river is perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing or simply relaxing on the banks.
Our house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath adobe home with a fully functional kitchen, dining room, living room with large flatscreen tv, Starlink wifi and satellite cable TV. The house can sleep 11, between the 2 queen beds, 2 sets of bunkbeds (4 twins) and 3 twin day beds in the living room.
We can also provide a Jaco travel trailer that sleeps 4 for an additional charge.
The house is only 4 miles from Downtown Llano.

Oh and the beds in the master bedroom were SO comfortable! And we are picky when it comes to that! The large master bathroom has a beautiful large shower & tub, perfect to relax after a day of fun! The patio space & outdoor shower were perfect for an evening to relax! The string lights added the perfect touch! It was great to have all the supplies we needed for our burgers! The best part of it all, the beautiful river that was just a little walk away from house! Totally private, the water was wonderful & it was just a great time to be together as a family! We really enjoyed our time together, for we don’t get a lot of chances to get away! But this place was perfect for us! Our dog Lola enjoyed it too! The fireworks show at the park, so fun!"

- "The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

- "Wow- where to begin: This property exceeded all expectations. The property itself is very new; extremely clean & has a simple open layout. The back concrete patio overlooking the river is the BEST! Every morning & evening I would be out before (and then after) the sun rose/went down- These parts of the day are magical at this property- You just don't know what you will see (or here) with all the nature. The two bald eagles that are known for nesting in this area have returned; As of my trip they are scouting a nest location. The mornings & evening they put on quite a show with their soaring & unique vocalizations! The river edge at the property has a small sandy spot to make entrance/exit easy; And the water depth ranges from ankle deep to about 4 feet- almost entirely gravel bottom for a great swim spot. Go up river for some really awesome sights and flowing water; down river is more chill/ less scenic. For fishing try to find deeper spots and cast to them; you'd be surprised where the fish like to be! I spent 3 full days at the property/river and it was perfect! Spent the days fishing/exploring. Really nice there is a hose right as you come up onto the patio; I was able to clean off the boots/gear etc. Very helpful to a hardcore fisherman... The property is offers the ultimate in peace & quiet; perfect for solitude & spiritual retreat. I will definitely return; This is one of the best properties I have stayed at! Oh... And there's a hot tub!!! ."
