- "A very nice hotel right in the heart of Los Alcazares. The only issue we had was on the arrival we entered the public parking of 42 La Libertad as instructed, but we parked on the -1 first level. We should have gone to the -2 level. From there the elevator takes you right to Reception and/or the rooms. " - "This is a terrific spot in February. It was very quiet, a block from the water, tons of restaurants, super clean, friendly, parking for our car underground was cheap, breakfast was A and Los Alcazares itself is a gem. Sunny, cold at night but perfect for us. This was a chance stay for two days and we will try to get back when we have a few weeks. Everything seems boarded up for the winter but at 18C and sunny we found it was a perfect time to visit. Meals were wonderful and inexpensive compared to home town Canada. Terrific stay, highly recommended at least at Feb/March. I know this place gets full later in the season but this was a terrific time to visit."

Relaxed & quiet. Had coffee machine but no kettle (used a pan) on the both gas & electric cooker, surprising no kettle as it had really everything else you could think of. Near to the airport there are flights throughout the day but not overnight. Enjoyed the spectacle particularly the air force display team practice. Had a nice terrace to the apartment. We had one problem with the hot water boiler breaking, the hotel staff were excellent in quickly fixing it & very patient with our appalling Spanish! We hired bikes from the hotel, great to ride as its all flat! Heard the hotel buffet is very good but we didn't try it. The situation in a quiet attractive residential area is very nice too. "

(PLEASE NOTE that there is a 60€ fee payable on arrival for the clean - this has been taken into account overall, resulting in the daily price being reduced, this is to allow rental for a minimum of 2 night) It has a spacious living area with air-con/heating. It is furnished & equipped to a high standard including LCD TV & DVD player along with a selection of DVDs. There is satellite TV with channels including kids, news, BBC, ITV, channels 4 & 5. The Kitchen, which is separate, is fully equipped & leads onto a rear patio area.
There are 2 single beds in each bedroom along with wardrobes & drawers, both rooms benefit from air-con/heating & the main bedroom is fitted with a safe. A highchair and travel cot are both available at no extra charge. To the front of the property is a large patio area with table & seating for 6. The complex benefits from a 20m pool with separate children’s pool. The bungalow is situated in a quiet area but is less than 5 minutes' walk to the shops & restaurants. The beach is a 10-min stroll & the nearest golf course is 2 km. Wi-Fi is available for a small charge of €10 per stay payable locally. Heat/air con is on a meter but is still provided free of charge up to the value of €20 per week. We feel that €20 per week should be more than sufficient but more credit can be purchased if needed. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A 60€ FEE FOR CLEANING ON ARRIVAL.

The Mar Menor: Few regions are lucky enough to have a salt-water lagoon beside the Mediterranean Sea. Along its 73 kilometres coastline perimeter there are numerous beaches with crystal clear, shallow water (with a maximum depth of 7 metres) making it very safe for children. The Mar Menor lagoon covers an area of 170 km2, making it the biggest salt-water lake in Europe. In the coolest months the temperature of the water is about 12°C while in August it reaches 30°C. The Mar Menor is listed by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places on earth. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the salinas, which is supposed to be full of all sorts of nutrients. It is a 5 minute stroll from a wide boulevard which has lots of quality bars and restaurants, providing international cuisine. It is a 10 minute stroll to the beautiful long sandy beach and shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor. The apartment is also within walking distance of several supermarkets.

Our second floor air conditioned apartment has access via a lift or stairs. The ramps around the complex (including the pool and gates) make it ideal for any of our guests with limited mobility. The apartment is 110m2 in size, one of the largest on this safe secure complex. It is well equipped for your comfort to make it a holiday home from home. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, 12 setting dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, filter coffee machine and electric oven & hob. There are three double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes providing ample storage. The Master bedroom has a King size bed with en suite bathroom and shower. The large, beautifully tiled family bathroom has a bath, with an over bath shower and screen. There are two other bedrooms, each has two single beds, which are movable. Our lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment is in Puerto Marina, a popular complex in the centre of Los Alcazares. Its amazing location puts it central to the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and it is perfect for couples, families and small groups alike.
Apartment Description
The apartment has one double bedroom with en suite and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The apartment also boasts a large outdoor terrace with built in Bar-B-Que and a retractable canopy for shaded relaxation. Air conditioning / heating are included with a metered supply. The apartment has fibre optic broadband and English TV included.
Although the bathrooms are not fully wheelchair accessible, the apartment is served by a ramp from street level making it accessible for persons with limited mobility

Swimming pools, and sunbathing areas
The apartment has a large outdoor terrace that gets both sun and shade throughout the day. There is a built in Bar-b-que for guests use and a retractable canopy for shade.

Our apartment is in Puerto Marina which has 3 swimming pools two of which have disabled access. We are situated between two of the pools, turn left from the terrace for pools one and two and right for pool three. Plenty of variety for sunbathing or swimming. We provide a variety of sunloungers for our guests for terrace or pool use, all we ask is that you bring the loungers back from the pool area at the end of the day. Please note that glass in any form is not to be taken to the pool areas.

Living space
The apartment has an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The living room has 2 very comfortable chairs and a large sofa, 6 seat dining table, TV and high speed internet. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay including washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher along with a selection of utensils and tools for the bar-b-que outside

Bedrooms and bathrooms
There are 3 bedrooms in total. One double bedroom with illuminated makeup mirror and en suite shower room and two twin bedrooms sharing the other shower room. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, fitted wardrobes and UK usb adaptors and there are two good size digital safes for guests' use in the master bedroom and bedroom 3.
A travel cot is provided for our smallest guests along with a removable side barrier for one of the beds to prevent younger ones falling out.

Apartment Location.
Our apartment is in one of the most popular complexes in the area, gated, secure , private and very conveniently within walking distance for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants which means there is no real need for a car if you prefer. There is even a wheeled shopping cart for the supermarket runs. Lidl, Aldi , Mercadona and Consum supermarkets are a short walk away. The 525 Plaza is a short walk away with a multitude of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Our apartment is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the sandy shores of the Mar Menor and a few steps to swimming pools and well maintained gardens. Our apartment is part of a small, quiet and secure complex, with views of farmland and far off mountain range.

With free, unlimited Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout; the apartment has a wonderful large, private roof terrace, also a balcony, 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom with a king-size bed, the second bedroom having 2 single beds, with mattress toppers for extra comfort. The bathroom includes a bath with shower and towels.

The main room has a dining area, a sitting area which includes a comfortable large settee, arm chair and TV.

All windows and doors are fitted with fly / mosquito blinds, and all areas of the apartment, including the roof terrace are non-smoking.

To help make the most of the close by sandy beaches we provide a set of beach chairs, towels, cool bag with freezer blocks and a parasol, all complete with a small trolley to make it easy taking to and from the beach.

For those choosing to hire a car there is ample off road parking, directly outside the apartment complex. We have tried to include everything needed for a trip away, including iron, ironing board and hair dryer.

The apartment is bright, spacious and has everything you need (not to mention a huge roof terrace and a lovely little balcony to sit out on having a morning coffee). The complex is maintained beautifully with a fabulous large swimming pool (and smaller children's pool). Whilst the complex is situated in a quiet location the beach is only a 10 minute walk away (as is the supermarket, strip of great restaurants and bars) and there is a great restaurant (The Garden Bar & Grill) just across the road. The communication and information from the owners was excellent and they were also extremely accommodating and were able to give us an early check-in/late check-out. I would definitely recommend this apartment and if my family and I were in the area then we would have no hesitation in booking again!"

This stylish brand new 3 bedroom villa is located in a popular area of Los Alcazares and is walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The villa has its own private pool with a large sheltered outside dining space and BBQ area.
