The host Kevin was really accommodating allowing us to stay late when we had a late flight and our point of contact over there Debbie and her husband were really helpful and accomodating with a couple of small issues we had due to an unusual storm. The apartment is just as described and literally a stone's throw from the mar menor and a few minutes drive from cabo de palos on the med A couple of minutes at the bottom of the apartments is a well stocked spar supermarket and cabo de palos has mercado and Aldis locally theresa couple of restaurants but again as we had a car we found many lovely restaurants in cabo de palos los belones and further away at los alcazares. A Modern style 2 floor house 200 meters from the beach with a rear patio area as well its own roof terrace and shared swimming pool. The lounge has a 40" Flat screen TV showing Spanish and English cable programmes including movies, sports and radio channels, a DVD player and dining table and chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven and electric halogen hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and all amenities. There are two bathroom/shower rooms. The patio has a table and chairs along with two sun beds. The front of the house has its own driveway and gates.

Having 2 bathrooms and space to sit outside helped, plus beach access, a nearby supermarket and bars, and short drive out to nearby villages.A number of the inhabitants/visitors were Spanish, so it was not exclusively English, which made a nice change.Access to the pool was limited, which was a shame, but there was a daily visit from the local bakery which was an unexpected and welcome touch, Don't come here if you want cultural outings or prefer an all-English environment.
