- "The house is a dream on Fire Island Pines! We were allowed an early check-in and the walk from the ferry is only about 10 minutes. The house was extremely clean, stocked with supplies, and plenty of bedrooms that were perfect for our friend bday trip. There are so many communal seating areas from the dining, to the living room, and lots of fun outdoor spots (roof deck, poolside, etc.). The pool was clean and the full sunny days made it an ideal spot for socializing and dancing. The host was super communicative throughout our stay and we would absolutely stay again. 10/10"

(5)Any missing or damaged items will be charged retail cost through the Airbnb portal as part of our process.

- "We enjoyed our stay. It was my birthday weekend and I enjoyed the hot tub nightly and the pool. The outside living space both upstairs and downstairs was AMAZING. We used the fire pit as well and that was relaxing. We stayed 6 days and was at either Jones Beach, Robert Moses or Fire Island everyday. Mostly to watch the sunsets……so beautiful. We toured the Fire Island Museum and hiked to the top of the Fire Island Lighthouse (definitely recommend). Easy, Beautiful boardwalk from parking lot 5 of Robert Moses State Park to lighthouse. Then we continued walking to Kismet (about a mile from Lighthouse or 1 3/4 miles from parking lot 5) to a great restaurant called Dive. I highly recommend. It was on the Bay side and had a gorgeous view of the sunset. Food and servers were excellent. We then walked back on the beach (ocean side) to lot 5. The house itself is loaded with all the things you need to be comfortable including a huge aquarium which we enjoyed watching. Towels and bed linens were provided. There is a Keurig coffee maker but we chose to walk down to Schwartz’s Bagels (just 3/4 mile down the road) for coffee and bagel breakfast sandwiches (we highly recommend going there). Schwartz’s also has great parking if you choose to drive. The service was super fast and the bagel sandwiches hard to beat. The choices were huge and meet most taste buds! Since it was my birthday weekend, my daughters had bought me a huge bouquet of flowers, and the house had a great big vase to hold them so they sat on the table just making it feel like home. This was definitely a home away from home. The owner was attentive to our needs and answered us very quickly and made things right immediately. We highly recommend this house if you are looking for relaxation and close to beaches. There are multiple grocery stores in the area as well including Stop and Shop and Aldi. This home won’t disappoint."

You will have access to the main entrance, driveway, front yard and back yard. There are absolutely NO common areas with upstairs tenants.

PLEASE NOTE! I currently have long term tenants living on the second floor of the home. They use a different side entrance. They are sweet and will not disturb you but you WILL hear noise because they have young children. The quiet hours of 10pm-7am will be respected. Sound machines are provided in each room to block out the noise while sleeping. I highly suggest you turn them on as we have no control of the noise level between 7am-10pm. If you are seeking a quiet escape, this is not the space for you.

Guest Access:
You'll have sole access to the front and back door. Back door leads to backyard. Neither doors can be accessed by tenants.

- "Enjoyed our stay. Very affordable. We mostly were out all day and came home to good showers and comfortable beds. We did grill out one night which was very nice. The accommodations are basic, clean, and comfortable. Adding towel racks. bedroom mirrors and hooks (no hanging closet) in the interior would be a nice convenience. Backyard canopy needs replacement since it pools water (we emptied due to heavy rain during the week). Would definitely stay again!"

You will walk into your private backyard and patio leading to your private entrance. The living room is an open space with a pull out couch, recliner and large flat screen TV, wall mounted for ease. The TVs (there’s a 2nd tv in the bedroom) do have all the TV subscriptions like Netflix and Hulu, as well as cable, and WiFi is always readily available!

The bedroom has a large walk in closet with built in shelves. The queen bed is comfy and made for RELAXATION! We hope you love its charm and TV addition!

The bathroom has a stand up shower and brand new easy flush toilet, stocked with all your essentials.

The kitchen is a full kitchen including a two burner stove, an oven, microwave, toaster, kuerig coffee pot, refrigerator and freezer. It is also stocked with all your kitchen essentials, even BBQ essentials! 😉

There is a washer and dryer attached to the unit and it is available only upon requests and preferred for longer staying guests only.

The entire unit has been recently renovated (April 2022) to include upgrades we felt were needed to give the ultimate experience!

- "Property was clean and exactly as described. Easy to access." - "The rental was close to what was expected but did not have enough bedding for 6 people though we were told it could accommodate 6 people. The air quality in the rental was poor and had a dehumidifier, which we were not aware of until arrival, and came with no instructions that we needed to manually empty it. It smelled musty and moldy and couldve also used an air purifier. The rental was basic and couldve used some more homey touches. Location was convenient for what we were in town for."

The space
Recently upgraded and fully furnished throughout, this spacious three bedroom home includes a full kitchen complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The main level of the home is perfect for entertaining. It offers a very spacious kitchen, living room and outdoor deck where the whole family can prepare a nice meal to enjoy while conversing in the open area. Guests enjoy HDTV, free WiFi, free onsite parking and private access.

Just a 1.5 hour drive from NYC, this home is the perfect beach getaway spot, with a few steps from the deck to the private beach with its beautiful view across the Great South Bay. Remote work with stunning water views through the wall of windows & in cold weather light a fire while sunlight floods the living space.

Two queen bedrooms & bunk bed room sleeps 6 guests, great for families or a small gathering of friends. 5 min drive to ocean beach with great swimming & surfing at Smith Point.

NEW in 2020: Brand new bathroom renovation on top floor, with oversized shower w/shower seat, and renovated bathroom on ground floor with bath tub w/ shower.
Also in the kitchen a brand new fridge/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven & microwave have all been installed.

The A-frame house is on two levels: on the upper level is the master bedroom, large enough to include a living area which looks down onto the open space below and out to the water through the wall of windows. There's also a desk up here, for remote working, if needed! One of the bathrooms is also upstairs. Downstairs has the A-frame cathedral ceiling and is open plan. There's a working fireplace. The two other bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed) and the other bathroom are at the rear of the house. Please note that while there is central AC & heat on the lower level (which includes 2 of the 3 bedrooms), the upper level has a ceiling fan and windows which allow the bay breeze to blow through and cool. Smoke & carbon dioxide detectors are located on both floors.

The deck faces the Great South Bay with a great array of wild birds to be seen, and amazing sunsets at dusk. Our private beach varies in size depending on the tide, and the water is shallow and safe for children. The shallow water is great for kids to use nets to catch small crabs & shrimps & hermit crabs. The beach is a mix of sand and rocks, so water shoes are recommended to walk out into the water.

The waters are calm and are perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking (not provided). A favorite trip is out to Bird Island with its sandy reef and pristine waters (20 mins by kayak). You can also fish right from our beach: striped bass and bluefish are regularly caught, using a lure or clams/bunker as bait. There's a great bait & tackle store just 10 min drive away.

When the tide is out, you can walk along the beach to the left and be surrounded by unspoiled nature, with not a single house in sight.
A great swimming and surfing beach on the ocean is at Smith Point nearby, just 5 minutes drive away. There's also many local nature preserves with hiking trails to explore.

Please note that while we do provide beach towels & deck chairs for the deck, we don't provide other 'beach gear' like folding/backpack beach chairs to take to the ocean beach, beach umbrellas or kids beach toys.

Guest access
Guests have full access and complete privacy inside the home and may enjoy full use of outdoor amenities as well. Instructions for access, check-in, checkout and directions to the home are provided in the house manual on VRBO. When checking out, please be sure all windows and doors are locked prior to your departure.

The house is a 10 min drive to Mastic-Shirley LIRR train, which connects to Penn Station in NYC and out to Montauk at the tip of Long Island.

- "Previous reviews were spot on with this stay. The beach was only 2 miles and beautiful. The kids room and house had an abundance of toys/games which kept the kids happy. The view and deck were incredible for relaxing. This house provides proximity to the large beach and beautiful views - and in a very reminiscent 60s style A-frame cabin. The upper level does get hot during the day, even with the AC on, but the breeze off the water is consistent and can quickly air the home. Our short stay didn't provide an opportunity to kayak, as even with calmer winds, the tides were a bit stronger than we were comfortable with - but more experienced kayakers (and those without kids) - are likely to love the water right from the steps of the house. Overall an easy place to relax, take a quick trip to the big beach and enjoy the summer sunset."

For bookings within seven days of arrival, payment is due in full.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation prior to 7 days before a stay incurs a $100 processing fee.
Within 7 days of arrival reservations cannot be changed and are non refundable with payment due in full.
Single night stays are non refundable.

Support dogs are permitted with a signed letter from a qualified medical professional and confirmation that the dog is fully trained and will properly behave while on hotel property. Written management approval and certification are required at the time of booking.
Be advised that a service animal must be leashed when in the common areas of the hotel and they cannot be left alone at any time.

All guests shall abide by the Seashore's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

This classic open plan 4/2 home, built in 1972, has been fully renovated for the new millenia! High on the bluff at Sky Walk, the house offers commanding ocean views owing to its unique placement across Ocean Walk from the only two vacant oceanfront front lots that can never be built on! Roof deck in among the highest on the island with unobstructed views of the bay and the ocean, sunrise and sunset.

Bedrooms all have AC and baseboard heating. The greatroom benefits from constant sea breezes and two giant ceiling fans. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors bring the sea view into the public space.
