- "Loved it " - "I gave this stay 5 stars however, if you have small children just be aware that they do not have additional locks on the inside of the front door. My 1 and 3 year old were able to just reach up and open the door because there is no way to manually lock it. The sliding glass doors to the balcony also do not have any additional safety locks, making it very easy for them to also just slide the one lock up and open it. We ended up blocking those doors with the bench seats from the dining room table at night to make sure there were no accidents. Aside from that, the condo was very clean, neat and we would stay again if they provided additional security locks for small children. Great views of planes coming in and of the water. We didn’t get to use the amenities or tour the whole property due to time constraints. "

There is no charge to park the boat trailer on the grass area of the dirt road along the South end of the property. However, if you want to park in the numbered trailer parking or wish to use a boat slip for your stay, these arrangements will need to be made with our Marina Office

It has both a drip coffee maker and a keurig. Instructions for locating the building, finding the parking place and locating the unit were all clear and easy to follow. Entry to the common areas has one code and the unit itself another. - "Property was very clean and very well equipped with all the essentials. The pool area was just beautiful. We enjoyed it very much. We got to see a manatee and her baby right off the dock. The neighborhood was very quiet and neat." - "This house was just as described. The house is really all about the outdoor space. The pool is wonderful, there is a gas grill, and the dock is a great spot to soak up the sun. I was able to drop in my paddle board right from the dock and was out on the water every day. (There is also a two person kayak at the property.) There was water, coffee, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, beach chairs, plenty of towels, and everything you could need to cook in the kitchen. The beach is just a short drive away and there are parks and plenty of fishing spots just minutes from the house."

The unit is on a lot over two acres with access to the front acre. The property is mostly grass with several large oak trees for shade, a picnic table for outdoor sitting. You will have access to a 4x10 outdoor kennel if needed for dogs to enjoy some open air. Front field is great for walking animals or enjoying a walk yourself.

Guests will have access to a garage, front of property, dumbwaiter, lift chair if needed, and two upstairs porches.
Other things to note
There are four parks within 5 minutes, which offer walking trails, manatee observation posts, playgrounds, tennis courts, food truck rallies, and more. Shopping and restaurants only a few miles away. Just follow the welcome signs which will guide you to the units garage.

Public transportation options are limited directly but Ubers and Lyft are here. The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately a 35-minute drive away, providing easy access for those flying in. Enjoy the freedom of exploring the Space Coast at your own pace!

- "We stayed for a long weekend (Sat-Tues) and everything was really nice. I picked Tropical Island House because it was near my brother's house and it had a pool. The house is very nicely set up with two bedrooms and bathrooms and an outdoor shower as well. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the outdoor area using the pool and the covered patio area. We were even able to stay out there during a rain storm. There was a grill outside and the kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of utensils and pots and pans. The host was very gracious and we ended up meeting and chatting with them. They were very accommodating! The house was a perfect setup for the two of us but would work well for a family or two couples too. I would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Merritt Island!"
