I guess I didn't realize how big it it was when I rented it, but it has two large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, one very modern and nicely appointed bath, full-size w/d, and a very large living area with a fully-equipped kitchen. There was a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the Indian River across the street and parking a few steps from the front door. Each bedroom and the living room had a 65" TV. Best of all, Pierce was always available for any thing you may need or questions about the property or the area. We highly recommend The River Rentals when visiting the beautiful city of Sebastian."

She checked us in but gave us a room next to the elevator which was noisy, the room also was for handicapped people, I did not request such a room. Being very tired we went to sleep, I kept coughing & in the morning my wife said she smelled mold, I went to the A/C unit & the entire window & frame were covered with condensation, you could not see out the widow, the carpet below was wet & damp causing the mold. I requested another room from I think her title was house cleaning supervisor, she asked if I needed another disabled room, I said no I never wanted one & she was very accommodating saying she had a room on the 3rd floor ready, but came back to me & said she had a 1 bed queen ready on the first floor. She apologized for the smelly room with mildew or mold. Our new room was fantastic, it was an upgrade, bigger & better. Also they have a complimentary breakfast. Each day we used it there was a female employee cleaning the room & stocking the food. I must say she was one of the most polite, friendly, helpful & respectful people I have ever met outside of my Military Service. If she does not get a pay raise or promotion soon, then there would be something very wrong at that location as she totally deserves it. As you drive up to this hacienda-style estate and park your car on the sandy drive under the ancient live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, you'll know that you have arrived at a genuinely special place. The mission-style bell tower atop this 'cabana' guest house and the Spanish-style courtyard tucked away behind wrought-iron gates offer the first clues that this was formerly the site of an early 20th-century railroad and streetcar tycoon's Florida get-away. Originally the carriage house for the estate, the guest house just underwent a top-to-bottom renovation making it a luxurious place to stay during the 21st century. Tucked between the Indian River Lagoon and the Sebastian River in the quaint and historic Roseland community, this is a magical spot.

Perched close to the edge of the original art deco swimming pool, from certain angles the cabana appears to be floating on water. At 26 feet by 52 feet, the pool is much larger than typical private pools, and great for serious lap swimming as well as casual wading or floating. Bamboo floors, colorful and casual furnishings, arched windows, and muted pastel-colored walls create a relaxing resort-style space. Two steps down from the living area, a separate, fully-equipped kitchen features ultramodern and vintage appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave hood, and water filtration system. Freshly refurbished with classic Florida materials such as turquoise glass tile, pink enamel appliances, terrazzo floor tiles, and casual white cabinetry, the kitchen boasts large windows overlooking the swimming pool, with a door for easy access to the poolside cabana bar.

A small passageway connects the living area with the bedroom, bathroom, and laundry area with washer and dryer. - "Nice, clean, comfy property. We were in town to fish and only needed a place to lay our head so we weren’t at the house much. This one has contactless check in but the owner will meet with you at check in as well. I have no problem with that but others may. She had some great recommendations. She had coffee and snacks on the counter. The towels were soft and fluffy. There were plenty of them. There were only 2 of us but 4 would be comfortable in this home. Listing says hot tub which is not true (I was not expecting one; it was not in the photos). The listing said hair dryer and I did not find one. We did not try the pool since it was January and it is not a heated pool. I’m sure 3 cars would fit perfectly with the garage but I would recommend using your parking brake outside of the garage as the driveway is quite sloped. This one is not convenient for boat parking as the driveway is too sloped and short. It was warm when we woke up every morning. It took a couple days to realize the thermostat was changing to 78 at midnight each night. That may need to be set differently when the home is occupied."

The main house has a great new deck and is clean and comfy inside. The deck was well maintained, and there is a great view.
