- "Very nice hotel, especially if you need Alanya city center quite often. Of course this is not a 5 star one, 4 at best. Building is not old, room is quite nice. Mine was above an amphitheater so it was easy to watch evening show from the balcony. Food is fine, not super, but you can find what you need. Fish was 2 times a week, sushi once a week. You can always find chicken, fruits and veggies. I was alone, so didn’t spend time in the pool. And this would be quite a challenge, because pool is small and people probably book the spot with the towel from early morning. Kids pool is also small with same problem pf fitting folks around it. Lots of Russians and polish folks in there, so don’t expect good manners around. What really makes this hotel special is their pier! Species, beautiful, really the best in all Alanya (at least this cost of it). Drinks and snacks are served at the beach, which is very comfy. "

My partner and I stayed only for 6 nights and we didn't have time to use them all, but we are definitely doing that next time. It's very easy to find excursions to different places. The food is very tasty and there is a big choice of all types of meals. There is even a diet section. There are also a few A la Carte restaurants with very good menu. The room is cleaned daily and staff clean all areas regularly. There are lifeguards everywhere. Bottled water available for everyone for free and even staff brings it to you without asking, especially on the beach. There's some activities like darts, beach volley and bocha, but I really liked aquagym and the shows at night :D The beach is right there, you can get to it going under the road through a tunnel, and there were plenty of parasols and deck chairs. I had a lot of fun jumping from the pier! The beach is pebbley, and the rocks get super hot, so you can't really be without flipflops, and the way the water laps and the pebbles move, it's not a good place for long walks at the seaside. The pools are nice but we didn't spend much time in them except for aquagym and going down the slides (super fun too!) Something else I noticed: It seems very wheelchair friendly, from a chair lift to get into the pool, wheelchair for the beach, and lifts and ramps all over the place. The food was really good too, too many options for entrees, main dishes and desserts. Having said this, I don't think you'll be too happy if you're vegetarian or vegan, the veggie options were quite limited."

Room size were OK.There were some animation activities, not vert much but staff warmth and efforts were supporting them. Meditteranian sea was always blue, warm and clean. Pool was also nice, clean and comfy. We have extended our stay, and we were really happy to choose Oba Star as our place to stay. "

- "We booked this hotel after having a bad experience with a different hotel on kleopatra beach and we are so happy we did. The hotel is very clean and upto date with modern features. The property has 3 pools 1 big and 2 small. Also one with a slide. The pool bars are very good but not much choice alcohol wise. - "Beach is close by, and there is always a way to get food and drinks. The food is better than what you would expect from an all inclusive, and pretty good in total. At least by turkish standards. The staff was all over very helpfull and kind. One reseptionist used a green lazer on us when we got home at night. I dont know why anyone would do that, thats just dangerous and provocing. One of the other reseptionists had real trouble understanding english. The rest were good. Even though the hotel comes with a free internet, prepare yourself for a stay without. The interneg barely works in the reception, and in the room you'll be lucky to load three lines of text in a minute. If you are staying at this hotel I would recomend not to use the spa, because its crazy expencive compared to what you get at the buraus down the street. I would also recomend happy bar and restaurant just down the street. The place is owned by a guy called nasjbec, and they got good and calm service, good nargiles and a good internet to top it all off."

The only negative thing was that we woke up at 6 o'clock every morning because of the sounds from the minarets." - "First the bad points: It's a small 'business' type hotel as opposed to a fun family holiday hotel (this a good point as well). There is no entertainment or animations team so your children will be bored all day and evening as you will be in the evenings. Areas around the bar and pool were very smoke filled all the time. Surfaces wet and slippery at times although staff do their best to keep clean. Food was not interesting at all and limited in variety so avoid 'All Inclusive' especially if you are vegetarian. It is about 2.5 hours from Anatalya airport by private taxi. Road noise noticeable in the room as is noise from neighbouring hotels entertainment. Good points: Close to lovely beach with sun beds and umbrella available all day long! Lots of shops and restaurants very close by, so a very nice location. Local markets and large shopping mall within walking distance. Would recommend eating out of the hotel for occasional evening meal as well as some lunchtimes. Having said this the snack bar food was always tasty and kids will like the burgers, pizza, chips etc. Very clean hotel and lovely clean rooms and nice bath with shower. No British people during our stay so we met lots of lovely Europeans. Staff are very nice and friendly and will do their utmost to help. Very good Wifi and internet speed, even managed to stream live Premier League games and other shows GoT. Tunnel to get you to beach safely. Would recommend this hotel to adults as children will get bored."

- "Nice hotel 7-10 mins from the beach which is in line with the price of the accommodation. Expedia has it listed as a 4 star hotel, but it is 3 star as stated in the hotel. Free good wifi throughout the hotel and in the room, but you have to re-enter login and password on all devices every 2-3 days. Good Turkish breakfast - buffet. The rooms are tired, but the bed is comfortable, everything works: air conditioning, small fridge, sanitary equipment. There was a problem with cleaning: for the first 8 days not once cleaned, even after two requests addressed directly to the cleaning staff. Cleaning was improved only after I raised this issue at the reception. Knowledge of English is very basic or absent - use google translator to translate into Turkish. "
