It is right off the main road but you really dont notice, minimal traffic and plenty of peace and quiet. We stayed here for a girls get away and it was just what we needed for lots of relaxing and staying in for all our meals. The house was the perfect size for us (4 adults) and came with plenty of kitchen items to use for cooking, baking or grilling (even a crock pot!). Plenty of bathroom towels as well and even some games. House was very clean but we spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the beautiful views of the lake and nature. Would definitely love to come back for a visit."

It’s easy to find and local stores and restaurants are all close by.

Please be aware that the house is literally right next to the main road so you will hear traffic noise, do not book knowing this and then leave a review about the location. There are neighbors on both sides next door. If you are looking for a private place in the woods, do not book this place.

You will be able to hear the calming sounds of the Connecticut River, which is just across the street (unfortunately, there is not an actual view of the river because there are trees bordering the river)

- "Went up for the weekend and this was a great little spot. The location was right between the two spots we were headed in Pittsburgh and Colebrook. The check-in was easy. The cabin was clean and the property was nice. Had a view of the Connecticut River. The only downfalls were that I thought I was paying for 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms with washer and dryer. However it was 3 beds (one bedroom, one loft) and one bath. It did have a washer and dryer but it had a note that it wasn’t for guest use so we didn’t use it. The living room had one couch and could have used another chair or something to sit on. We sat 3 on the couch and one sat in the loft or at the kitchen table when we turned on the tv while we waited for the rain to stop. We also weren’t as close to the ATV trail as we thought. If it were winter it was right on a snowmobile trail. I would definitely rent here again when we come up! Thanks!"

Located just off Back Lake in Pittsburg, NH, you can enjoy activities such as hunting and fishing, mountain biking, or taking your dogs to the town common, which features tennis courts and ice skating in winter. It’s one of the coolest little mountain communities in New Hampshire.

The home features a great room with all new furniture, six air conditioners, a fire pit, and a gas fireplace for those chilly winters. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room open onto a rear deck that includes a WEBBER Spirit gas grill and a flat-top griddle.
