We took the last ferry from Vancouver and were worried we would be to late to check in as per the description but was put as ease with a quick phone call to motel to be told we will be able to check in across the street at the gas station. We got to Port Alberni around 1030 and check in at the gas station as per the call we made. The guy that check us in was AWESOME as he recognized we were probably the last people checking in that night (Port Alberni was a ghost town this night which was nice coming from Vancouver) and upgraded our 2 queen room to a full 2 bedroom suite, basically an apartment!! he also gave us a town map , explained where we were and where we should hit up in the morning for breakfast, THE DONUT SHOP does not disapoint!!!! Thank you Alberni Inn, you started our mini Vaca off right!!! We will be staying here again next time through:)"
