Q. Can you check in early or check out late?

A. We won't know if this is possible until the day before check in. The reason is if we have a guest leaving the day you are arriving our team needs enough time to ensure the house is ready for your arrival. In the event they finish early we can let you in earlier. For a late check out, it will depend on if we have a booking arriving that day. One way to ensure you getting either of these options is to book the day before or the day after your desired stay . This way if you want to book Friday-Sunday but you want to arrive at 9am on Friday, if you book Thursday the house will be available for you any time after check in time on Thursday.

Within the home, you'll find air conditioning in each of the 4 wonderfully decorated bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms set up to sleep a maximum of 8 adults and 5 kids. If you have a different group size, feel free to shoot us a message! All linens, towels, and basic toiletries are taken care of for you.

On the 2nd floor, you'll find:
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with king bed, 58" smart TV, dedicated work station, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and full bathroom ensuite.
Bedroom 2: We call it the "Glass Room". (It's our favorite room!) This room has a queen bed with floor-to-ceiling windows and a skylight. You'll also find a ceiling fan and air conditioning to keep you cool during warm summer nights.
Loft: Enjoy time with family and friends with a game of foosball and air hockey! Also, in the closet, you'll find the Pack'n Play and high chair.

Bedroom 3: A large room where you'll find a queen bed, air conditioning, and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 4: This room has a bunk bed that has a full bed on top, a full bed on the bottom, and a pull-out twin trundle. The bunk bed has a manufactured weight rating of 200 lbs on the top and 200 lbs on bottom. Maximum of 1 adult per bed or 2 children per bed, with 1 person on the trundle. (Max: 5 children or 3 adults). This room also has air conditioning.
Kitchen: Fully appointed with all the pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery and glassware you could need. You'll also find a dual coffee brewer and Keurig maker. We provide Keurig pods, cream, and sugar! You'll also find a blender, microwave, double oven, and full-size refrigerator with filtered water and ice.
Dining Room: Seating for 8, plus a high chair for the littlest member of your crew!
Living Room: 50" TV with a few of our favorite games in the entertainment center. The couches have tons of pillows and blankets to stay cozy! The couch also has a pull-out queen that sleeps 2, if you need it! As parents, we also took the liberty to add corner protectors on all the sharp edges to help prevent boo-boos. The TV is also mounted to the stand, so you won't need to worry about it tipping over onto someone.

Outside: A firepit and propane grill with tools await you! If you plan on using the fire pit, wood is available at many local stores in the area! Additionally, there's a patio set with seating for 4 right outside the back door. The hot tub seats 6 and is a great place to enjoy evenings!

With the exception of our shed and 2 closets in the master bedroom, you have access to every area of the house.

- "We enjoyed our stay, at the beautiful Kairi house. It certainly gave me a warm Caribbean feel in PA. A perfect getaway for my birthday with my girlfriends. I was welcomed with a thoughtful birthday gift bag. The owner provided me great instructions that ensured me of smooth arrival. The decor is full of vibrant images of the Caribbean. The library was full of intriguing books to read, certainly a comfortable space. We enjoyed listening to music and talking around the fireplace. The house is kept very clean. The beds were very comfortable. All amenities are available in the house. This allowed use to cook and feel at home. Everything was about 20 minutes or less away. We had a delightful breakfast at Fork street Bistro in Mt. Pocono. The cinnamon role pancakes are amazing. We decided to do go-cart racing at S&S speedway. We really had a lot of fun racing each other. In addition shopping at Crossing Outlet. We also were minutes from some great hiking spots. The lake was a few blocks away. Kiari house is truly a perfect location. The in house manual provided answers to all of my questions and numbers of people to call with any of my concerns. I have stayed in Tobyhana before at other communities but this was my best experience! My only drawback was that I didn’t book more days! I look forward to returning with my husband and daughters in the Spring."

The BeeHive welcomes you to a cozy little mudroom where you may leave your coats and shoes. You immediately walk into the open living room space with a fireplace and tv for everyone to enjoy.
*Note: We only provided two TVs for the house. One in the living room and one in a bedroom in the 1st floor.

The dining area flows right into the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to prep some delicious meals - toaster, coffee maker, utensils, pans, pots, bakeware, plates, cups, wine glasses and wine opener (we can't forget that). We also have a dishwasher and microwave.
There are two full bathrooms in the 1st floor and one bathroom on the second floor. Two of the five bedrooms are located in the first floor as well.
You can also find a family room with a foosball table and some board games. Behind a rustic barn door in the family room you will find the washer and dryer along with a iron and ironing board.

Next to the dining area you can walk out the sliding doors to our private little deck with ferry lights. It's equipped with a grill, a sectional and a firepit to relax & unwind with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night:)

All Pennsylvania State Laws, pertaining to boating, govern the PFCCA Glacier Lake.

The PFCCA lake is limited to watercraft propelled by oars, paddles, sail, or electric motors. Electric motors shall not be more than five (5) horsepower ensuring that the water remains calm and clean. Any watercraft propelled by an electric motor must be currently registered in a state. Per the state law, the registration must be carried on board. All members’ boats used on the PFCCA Lake must also be registered with the PFCCA office.
Limited boat rack rental space is available by application to members in good standing through the PFCCA administration office. An annual fee is applied.

A playground is adjacent to the beach front with a large grass area for game playing and picnicking Nearby you will also find beach volleyball nets, bocce courts and shuffleboard making it a perfect family beach!
Glacier lake is also open throughout the year for fishing, sailing and boating.
There are a variety of special pool & beach events for young members, pre-teens, teens, families and adults only. There is always happening within the Aquatics Amenities.

The lake is stocked with trout and bass twice a year.
Residents over the age of 16 are required to have valid Pennsylvania fishing license with a trout stamp to fish in our lake. In addition, all persons fishing are required to have a valid PFCCA, Inc. badge with the current year’s amenities sticker. Pursuant to our administrative code, extended family members (children, grandchildren, parents) must be accompanied by the resident.
Keeping of bass is prohibited.

The space
The home is a perfect getaway with all that you need. On the first floor we have an open concept living and dining area, the kitchen is stocked with all your appliances such as microwave, blender, and even a toaster oven, the living area is fully equipped with a smart tv that has all your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu and more. Also located on the first floor is the first bedroom/ game room, this room has an air hockey mini table, tv, games and books to enjoy and the couch folds out to a twin bed. The home has two full bathrooms one on each floor, while the downstairs bathroom features a washer and dryer free to use. When you go upstairs you have the two main bedrooms, one with a king sized bed while the other bedroom has two queen size beds. - "The location is quiet and within an HOA which makes clear that any fireworks use is an automatic $500 fine. If you are not a fan of loud noises this is the place for you! The split-level unit is recently updated in basic contractor-grade materials and Ashley furniture. Very comfortable for our 2-household family group. 2 complete kitchens and dining areas. A tv in each bedroom plus in game room and living/dining areas. The tap water is very good tasting with slight odor of chlorine which tells me it is safe! Outdoor pool with zero-depth entry plus a splash pad at the country club about 1 mile away. Unheated but the pool house has hot shower. Beautiful new gas grill on the big deck. Pull through driveway, our 2 vehicles fit easily. Enough plates glassware etc for 2 families. Firewood stored at fire pit. Screened windows upstairs for ventilation but not downstairs. Full bathroom on each level. Shoprite and lots of other shopping just a few miles away. We had an excellent visit, our first to the Poconos. Thank you Hawkins Brothers!"
