Two bedrooms have queen size beds, and the third has twin beds.

Point Beach Guest House has 1700 square feet of living space. Lots of yard for fun, games, sitting around the fire pit or putting together your creation on the provided propane grill. (propane provided)

Our guests have enjoyed the large manicured yard, easy access to the beach, and the biking and hiking trails. In the winter these trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in a beautiful snow-covered forest.

Sit in the yard, relax and enjoy the country, then when you feel like it use our central location to visit the many activities in the area.

Neshotah Park with lots of sand and shower and food facilities is only 3 miles away.

When it is chilly, a warm fireplace provides a lovely retreat for snuggling with a good book, a cup of hot chocolate or friendly fireside conversation.

Avoid the crowds of Door County, but you can visit there with a short drive. Two Rivers is an untapped vacation spot with lots of activities nearby including several miles of white sandy beach.

Being by the lake produces a feeling of relaxation and you can sense it pretty easily in this easy going place called Two Rivers, and especially right here at the Smiling Bear Cabin. There are many nearby hiking and XCSki/Showshoeing trails including ice age trail segments, and wonderful beach and picnicking spots. Staying at the Smiling Bear puts you at the heart of everything available in the area and gives you a nice place to call home and make great family memories.

Our place sits on 1/3 acre, across the road from Lake Michigan and the Mariner's Trail, which runs along the coastline. The way our home is angled, you can see the lake from much of the yard and just about every room of the house. We have Swings, Volleyball, Croquet, Badminton, & Sidewalk Chalk! We have a Fire-Pit and a Wood Shed [which may or may not have firewood at any given time]. To round out the outdoor fun, we have a huge Wrap Around Deck w/Gas Grill [Propane Provided], Picnic Table, Patio Table w/Umbrella, and extra chairs.

Inside home layout is ideal w/Open Concept KT/Dining/LR so everyone can enjoy one anothers company during family cooking and cleanup time in our well stocked kitchen. Access Deck from Patio Doors or back kitchen door making a convenient round robin layout perfect for entertaining. Main floor laundry for guest use.

Enjoy solitary beach access right from the backyard, explore and search for beach glass, fossils, rocks and yooperlights at your own leisure! Out of the front yard has direct access to over 10 miles of meandering trails in the Raur West Forest to hike, bike or ski.

Just a short drive of under 5 minutes to access the Point Beach State Forest with miles of walking trails, well maintained bike trails and rustic ice age trails.
Cottage is a 7-mile short trip to Two Rivers through the forest to the grocery, restaurants, and groomed beaches.

The cottage is always very well maintained, we keep the place top notch clean and always try to provide the needed essentials for your stay. Including a food pantry with essentials and snacks. And a stocked refrigerator with all unopened new essentials for your stay. Bathroom is stocked as well with towels and all cleaning essentials.

The cottage is set back down a long blacktop driveway from a low traffic road and is one of the last few true quiet places around that will provide a wonderful relaxing stay all to yourselves. With the large yard overlooking the lake you will be able enjoy everything it has to offer while BBQing, having a outdoor picnic, outdoor games, and our new addition for this year a propane fire pit on the back deck.

All we ask is that you try to keep the place clean and have a great time! There is no hidden fees or cleaning fees or chores to do except wash your dishes before leaving.

- "My wife and I stayed at Russ’s cabin on a weekend escape. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. You could quite literally come with almost nothing except clothes and feel at home. The cabin is located on Lake Michigan, there was a strong breeze during our stay and the sound of the waves was very relaxing and easily audible from the cabin kitchen and living room. A short walk through a beautiful stand of red pines leads you to a picnic table on a bluff above the beach, and another short walk on well-marked trails takes you down to a very private stretch of beach. We spent most of the afternoon on a Saturday lounging on the beach and saw only two other people at a distance. There is excellent hiking immediately across the street and down the road at the nearby Point Beach State Forest. Our only complaint is that the weekend went too fast! We would definitely stay again! The area is very quiet and perfect for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of modern life."

Peaceful and centrally located place. Walking distance to downtown, 6 blocks to the Lake Michigan and only a few feet away from the East Twin River located in thebackyard. Perfect for a group of friends or family who would like to spend time in a spacious and comfortable environment. The house has 5 bedrooms and everyone can enjoy their own private space. The riverfront is a great place to relax and unwind.

- "Monica's home was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were three couples staying together. The bedroom spaces were lovely with comfortable beds. There were numerous outdoor spaces to enjoy the riverside setting. The two bathrooms worked well for us as neither were directly linked to a bedroom so could be used by all. Monica included many special touches such as sparkling waters, eggs, spices and treats. The location of the home is perfect for accessing all the area has to offer. The trails to both Rawley's Point and Manitowoc were easy to get to from the house without having to drive to an access point. Two Rivers is very walkable with coffee shops and dining close at hand. We would love to make a return trip!!"

My husband and I started this venture to provide ourselves with a comfortable, well appointed place to stay when visiting home. By meeting our personal needs you are rewarded with an exceptional home nestled in a quiet, heritage neighborhood. You are walking distance to the city's downtown which offers options for dining and entertainment, and minutes from the best beach in Wisconsin.
The home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is a short walk to Washington Park featuring a boardwalk along the river, tennis courts, and playground equipment. The quaint downtown is a few blocks south of the home where you can get a gourmet cup of coffee and shop in the 120-year-old department store. Rogers Street Fishing Village is a short walk over the 22nd Street Bridge where you can still buy fresh fish. Neshotah Beach offers areas for swimming, volleyball, and launching jet skis and kayaks and is only 5 minutes from the house. If you love to fish than you are in the right town as Lake Michigan and the two rivers, Mishicot and Neshoto are abound with trophy trout and salmon.
The fun doesn't stop in the summer as there is cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice fishing, and sledding to keep everyone entertained.

- "I sort of want to keep this a secret, but this was the most amazing VRBO and a great host to work with. We knew from the moment we arrived that it was going to be a great stay. Lora went over the top and welcomed us with a lovely card and some snacks. This was our home base for a charity bike ride that I took part in. There is tons of cycling opportunities in and around Two Rivers. We also enjoyed the beach several times. We also went to get ice cream a couple of times and Cedar Crest. YUM! We spent a lot of time on the front porch. It is so nice and relaxing. On our way home, we stopped at the Book Worm Gardens in Sheboygan. I also can’t go through Sheboygan without stopping at 3 Sheeps for some beer. BTW: The high scores on the Mrs. Pac-Man/Galaxian game are mine! I challenge you to beat them."

Lakeview Cottage is 1480 square feet with coastal décor and hardwood floors. The
vintage cottage has a wrap-around front porch with Adirondack rocking chairs where you can enjoy lovely views and sounds of Lake Michigan. Plus, there’s a large front screened porch off the living room.
There are 2 full bedroom suites with one primary bedroom (queen bed) downstairs that connects to the full bath. The upstairs primary bedroom suite takes up the whole upper floor and has another full bath. The cottage sleeps a total of 8.
When you walk into Lakeview Cottage, you’ll be on the main floor. There’s a bright living room with a brand new ‘sofa chaise’ that ‘pops up’ for lounging or as another bed.
There’s also a smart TV and two more comfy chairs. The large dining table has eight
brand new chairs and cushions. Both the living and dining rooms have lake views and plenty of puzzles and games to have fun with when the sun goes down! Off the dining room is the kitchen with custom cabinets and plenty of counter space. The cottage is also equipped with gaming level high-speed internet with 500 Mbps and fun artwork throughout the cottage.
The main floor has a large remodeled full bathroom. Up the stairs (13 carpeted stairs),
the bright, open upper floor has a large recently built dormer -- with more views of Lake Michigan. There is another queen bed plus a full bed with a twin (rolls out from trundle bed). It has a full bath with a skylight. There’s also a desk nook for a quiet workspace.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, glassware, silverware, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. Stainless-steel appliances include a gas range, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The basement has a & Kid’s Zone; with another smart TV, a Wii Sports package and furniture for gaming, a half bath, and the washer and dryer.
There's a nice, very private backyard with a patio, furniture, and a gas grill.
Two new bikes are available in the garage with helmets.

Lakeview Cottage is across from the 50-acre wooded Neshotah Park. Besides having
the beach voted the best in Wisconsin, there’s beach volleyball, basketball and tennis ball courts, softball, horseshoe pits and launching sites for kayaks Pickleball anyone?
There are brand-new courts in Two Rivers’ newest, beautiful park that’s just a short walk or drive to the other side of the East Twin River.
Right outside the door of Lakeview Cottage are two bike trails heading north and south on the Lakeshore. The Rawley Point Bike Trail takes you on a fabulous six-mile ride through wooded forests ending up at the absolutely beautiful sand dune beaches of Point Beach State Park.

The Mariner Trail bike way heads south six miles along the lakeshore to Manitowoc. All along the way are gorgeous gardens planted by volunteer families and world-class art sculptures. From Lakeview Cottage you can walk to stores, bars, the new ‘Cool City Brewery,’ restaurants, and the quaint Two Rivers downtown with its public park on Main Street. The twin city of Manitowoc is seven miles to the south. It has become a destination for more craft breweries and fine dining. Throughout the summer, there are festivals and live music in Two Rivers and across the beautiful Lakeshore area. 40 min from Lambeau Field—home of the Green Bay Packers! Visit this historic football destination and Hall of Fame, even before the season starts.

It had all of the basics we needed plus some extras and the couple of minor items I had questions about were handled promptly by the property owner. Very clean, especially for being dog friendly! AC worked well. Cute decor and appreciate it was sparse so we had room for our items. Updated first floor bath was really nice. Appreciated the bikes and the beach wagon. Neighbors we met were friendly and the new fresh coast bar nearby was a fun stop before dinner. Suggestions - at this price point we felt the first floor bedroom needs nightstands of some kind and a dresser or similar for storage vs the old armoire that is there - wasn’t very functional for a five night stay. Backyard dining furniture is in very rough shape. 2nd floor bath needs proper lighting. A larger/nicer living room couch would be nice. Overall this was a very nice home and great location and we would stay here again!"

When we got cold we started the fire to keep us warm or headed inside this beautifully restored building with exposed wood beams, perfectly-sized rooms, high ceilings and all-modern, high quality appliances. The adult kids got antsy staring out at the beautiful green lawn and old churches on the other side of the river so they headed out in the provided kayaks. Then took bike rides to the beach just 4 blocks away. There was a great second floor living area perfect for guests to recharge their social battery after days of socializing with family. Large amount of storage space helpful for people bringing an excess of groceries. Even in the bathrooms which is needed for the 3 adult kids each with their own toiletry needs. Nice bar cart to prep and serve cocktails. Attentive hosts who ask what we needed and supplied s'more fixings. I could keep going forever so I'll just leave with this: This was the best house rental we've ever had in the US and the rest of the family that rented other houses or stayed in hotels were super jealous."

It is a .4mile walk from the front door to the feeling of sand in your toes - the beach!. We provide a wagon filled with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler so you can head out for the day. Neshotah Beach has a public restroom, small food stand, and free parking spots available on a first-come basis. Adjacent to the beach is a wooded park with picnic areas & grills, a horseshoe pit, a zipline and playground area, and additional bathrooms.
