Our unit comes fully furnished with kitchen utensils, refrigerator, toaster, rice/vegetable steamer, coffee maker, electric frying pan and microwave. We also supply linens, beach towels, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, room safe, cable HD TV, Wi-Fi, etc. There several nearby laundry options. Both our room and the main lobby area are equipped with free Wi-Fi for your use.

With the shops and restaurants below, we ate quite a bit there and grocery shopped for snacks and drinks. Super convenient. The view from the porch is even better than the pictures. The ocean was much closer than what the pictures show on the listing. Highly recommend esp for the price and all of the conveniences that are right there!"

Free parking for our guests but there are no elevators on the property. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

This unit had a wonderful view of the resort itself, and the ocean. The room was clean and was thoughtfully put together. Super comfortable bed, and furnished nicely. The location ended up being really great - it's directly connected to an oceanfront walk/bike trail which was nice to walk along. It's also in a great central location to both the north and south shore which made visiting sites all the easier. We loved being close to the main drag of Kapa'a - such an adorable area to walk around and see local shops. The convenience of being walking distance to the coconut marketplace, was also a huge bonus. Would book this spot again in a heartbeat!"

We are delighted to introduce this plantation studio at the Kapa'a Sands! A plantation-type studio with 464 sq. ft. (364 lot area plus 100 sq.ft. lanai). As you browse through the pictures of this enchanting oceanfront property, we hope you will perceive, and feel as we do, that Kapa'a Sands is indeed a very unique and special place to stay when you visit the Garden Isle. The lush tropical ambiance and tranquil setting of this delightful ground-floor studio are simply unsurpassed anywhere on Kauai. The ocean view from inside and on your lanai is simply magnificent. Having a full kitchen including a dishwasher is unique in itself in any ocean view studio on Kaua'i and is indeed ideal for longer stays. Nestled in a private cove near Kapa'a town with its own beach, K Sands, as it is known by its many repeat guests, is said to have both a mystical and magical charm. At night, you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf as the trade winds often softly blow in and on many mornings, the sun, like a giant orange beach ball, rises up on the horizon out of a thousand miles of open ocean.

Kapaa Sands beach in front is swimmable but always use caution at any beach current waves are visible. For shops and restaurants, there's a lot around that area that's just a walking distance like a 10-minute walk from the property. There is Kintaro Japanese right in the front of that hotel near the highway and there is Kinipopo Shopping Village that has food places. If you walk along the wall path there will also be a Lava Lava restaurant and the Coconut Marketplace.

Important: This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.

The photos don’t do it justice. The property manager was very communicative and may the stay enjoyable. Only issues during our stay were the ceiling fan appeared to be not working 100% and spun very slow so the fact that there is no AC in the unit made it at times very stuffy in the room even with all the windows open there was no circulation. Also in the kitchen there were a few small nat sized bugs on the counter throughout our stay but didn’t bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again but a window AC unit would’ve made the stay that much better. Also getting woken up around 5:22am every morning to the rooster was a bummer but merely encouraged us to get up and enjoy the fact we were in Kauai! :)"

This beautiful air conditioned home is well maintained and in "like new" condition. You will love being this close to the beach, and relaxing in a comfort when not on the go. The kitchen contains all the amenities if you decide to skip Kauai's local cuisine and cook at home. One queen bed in the first bedroom and a large sofa bed in the second bedroom. The condo is located in the heart of Kapaa. You'll be within walking distance of shopping, dining, bike and snorkel rentals.

The rental was clean, well stocked with everything you need for your beach vacation (beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc.) and very spacious. Loved the outdoor balcony plus the fact that it had a designated parking spot. Just a short walk from the rental, there’s a nice beach to take in the sunrise each morning. Staying here you’re located in the center of the island, with many shops and restaurants nearby plus easy access to the North and South sides of the island. Highly recommend the drive, it offers picturesque views of the island with great beaches to explore!
