- "We enjoyed the room for our staycation! It was a great price, and way better than what Marriott itself could offer at the time. The room is a fine size and we didn’t mind the Murphy bed. The kitchenette worked great for the days we were staying. The view was nice at it looked out toward the garden and bbq area, but the BEST part was you have a partial ocean view, and you can even see It while taking a shower! It was also nice that on one side of the unit it does not have a room next to it, so it feels more private and less noisy for sure. It’s also in a convenient location to the breakfast spot, pool, lobby and lagoon. In all, we enjoyed our stay."

- " Horrible!! There was 3 different parties and confirmations we had to deal with which was not convenient and extremely confusing. Description and pictures of the property were very misleading and pretty much fraudulent. The beach/restaurants/lighthouse they advised was actually the Marriott Resort, blocks away. Right by the cruise harbor. All you saw outside your balcony was ships and storage containers. NO Hot-tub first impression was the AC hanging outside on the second story and was dripping down, hitting us as we opened the front door. It was dated, moldy and not well taken care of. Mold covered the bathtub and shower and shower curtain. The screen door to the balcony wasn’t even attached when we got there. It was just laying against the condo. The curtains to the balcony didn’t even cover the slider. It needed at least 3 panels, only had 2. The mirrors had black marks from them deteriorating. All the pictures hanging on the wall were hanging sideways and there was water damage to some of them. The couch in the living room was a different couch then what was pictured. Sharpie was used to label EVERYTHING. The whole reason we booked this condo was So we could cook and make our own food. But after seeing how the condo was not taken care of, the last thing we wanted to do was use the kitchen appliances. we were charged a $350 cleaning fee. But we had to take out the trash, clean all the dishes. The place was not $350 clean when we got there. "

Even the back door has a great view of the 38 acre Kauai Lagoons with manicured grounds and secluded walking trails. Our home is called 'Pukalani' which is Hawaiian for 'Heaven's Door.' The minute you walk through the door, you will see 'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away'. You will know you are in paradise. Kauai has many fun activities, but you will find it hard to leave the beauty and amenities of Pukalani. Our condo is the perfect place to stay if you are attending a meeting or event at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. We are just a short walk or shorter drive to the Marriott Hotel. Why stay in a hotel room when you can be staying in a new two bedroom condo with a gourmet kitchen and breath taking views.
This is the only villa at the Marriott Grand Residence at Kauai Lagoons offered for rental. Our rental fee is a great bargain compared to renting a hotel room, so book early to guarantee a reservation and your perfect dream vacation.

- "The condo and views are as exactly as advertised and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Ron's place was spotless, comfortable and included all the "extra's" one typically needs to stock up on when renting. The location is just around the corner from the airport (but not noisy) and convenient to shopping (Target, Costco), restaurants, and beaches. It is also a good central place to easily get to many popular activities and explore the entire island from. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai and were lucky one day to see a full rainbow after a short rain. We enjoyed watching airplanes and even a cruise ship right from the lanai. We made daily use of the on-site gym, pool, and walking trails around the beautiful grounds and golf course. Running Waters Beach is directly below the unit and across the golf course. It is a short walk to get to and a bit of a steep hill to go down but an awesome place for pictures. I wouldn't recommend swimming there because it's quite rough. We had a couple questions before our stay and Ron responded quickly. We hope to return someday and highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kauai!"

The condo was appropriately stocked with all the utensils and dishes needed to make at home meals. To enhance your island adventures, a day cooler with freezer packs, a sand mat, two beach chairs, a beach wagon and umbrella can be found in the closet! - "We arrived in Kauai at 3am (our time) so getting a place close to the airport was key for us. This resort is well laid out, nice and close to the beach and the pool/hot tubs were just steps away from the updated room, which is VERY well appointed and the beds super comfortable. This place surpassed our (always) lofty expectations." - "Unit was decorated very nicely, was clean and supplied with everything we needed for the week. It had a gorgeous view and was steps from the beach. Owners were great to work with and responded to my questions right away. My only complaint was the mattress. - "The villa was perfect for a couple. Location to the beach and amenities was perfect." - "We were at Las Vegas Market working and this was the perfect place for us, our daughter, and a co worker. The amenities were great and kitchen saved us a ton of money." - "We completely enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Our VRBO host communicated everything very well and we had a smooth shuttle from the airport and check in. The property is beautiful and clean. My only complaint was housekeeping. They told us when we first arrived that our room would get one tidy when we were there. The day for the tidy came and no one cleaned our room. The following day we went to the from desk and asked that we could get our tidy, we wanted fresh towels and sheets. She said they would send someone up but wouldn’t change the sheets, but they would leave some for us. We got back at 9pm ready for bed and there were new fresh towels but no new sheets, so we had to call and get them to bring sheets and then we had to change them. I would stay here again in a heart beat but that was a disappointment for sure."

- "What an amazing place to stay! We were on the 3rd floor and had a breath-taking view of the beach and waves. The balcony was large with a table and chairs along with two lounge chairs. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils we needed. The bed was comfortable and the one and half baths came in handy when we were getting ready to go out. The condo was spacious and decorated nicely. There was no elevator, so we had to walk up three flights to the condo. Our corner unit overlooked the huge lawn that always had chickens and cats walking around. There is a very nice sidewalk that runs along the beach. A short walk away is Lydgate Beach Park which has sandy beaches and a great snorkeling area. The condo is also located close to town, shopping, and dining. The central location also makes it easy to get to either side of the island."

- "Excellent location central to everything. Clean condo just as pictured. Easy check-in and good communication. Outstanding view!" - "This place was just what we needed, located right by the water with ocean views! We were able to walk to the park and let the kids swim in the protected area in the ocean. We also enjoyed the swimming pool which is a very short walk away and can be seen from the balcony. Parking was easy and plenty of spots. Also a very convenient location for exploring the whole island. The location is very quiet and relaxing. Was very nice to enjoy our cup of coffee each morning just relaxing in the chairs on the deck soaking up the sun. The new furnishings were also an added touch and made us feel right at home."

Kaha Lani enjoys consistent ocean trade winds and is designed to capture and draw them through the home beautifully. For this reason, air conditioning units (which can be intrusively noisy) are not permitted at Kaha Lani. Our unit #223 has ceiling fans throughout, and two portable fans are provided just in case as well.

The unit features a king size bed, chaise lounge, private lanai, air conditioning, work desk area, cable TV, mini fridge, in-room safe, and Keurig coffee maker for you to use and enjoy daily. There is a PlayStation 2 system set up to watch movies, along with a variety of DVD's to choose from. Two Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie board are also provided for you to use. I just kindly ask that you clean the items clean after using. Free wi-fi is accessible in room and throughout the resort.

- "We had a great stay in a VRBO rental timeshare hotel room from Jan 28-31, 2024. We were assigned a great 8th floor room with a view over the pool, beach, and bay. Gorgeous! The room was like a standard king sized room. We had access to the whole facility. Also, free parking in the guest lot right next to the main hotel entrance (short walk of about 2 min to the car from front entrance). Highly recommend this property! Note, there was some minor remodeling going on but I didn't hear any disrupting construction noise, not even once."

- "Good property! Great sunrise view! Clean and comfortable bed." - "This unit was even nicer than the pictures show it to be. It has everything you need and is located just between the pool and the tennis courts with a lovely view of the ocean to boot. I found it very comfortable and quiet and my only complaint about the unit was that the water pressure in the shower was not good. (That's a pretty small complaint though.) Initially I was actually staying in another unit at the same resort with my family when I tested positive for Covid and found that I needed to stay another few days to hit the full quarantine period (five full days after the first day of symptoms) so I booked this unit last minute. Everything was great except that I had to wait the full five hours between check out and check in time outside - which wasn't ideal when I was both contagious and feeling under the weather (and on a day when two rainstorms blew through - but neither lasted more than a few minutes)."
