Our unit in the Beach Villas at Ko Olina is located on the top 11th floor of the Beach Tower. The Beach Tower is one of two towers in the Beach Villas and is the one located closest to the water). The panoramic views of the water, sand beach, and even mountains are stunning. You can even see the water laying in bed in the master bedroom! Our unit is one of only two at the 11th (top) floor, so it provides peaceful privacy. It on the northwest side so you can enjoy awesome sunsets from the lanai, and close enough to the water to hear the surf in the evenings.

Ko Olina Resort is one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots on the earth. There are 4 large protected coves that are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or sunbathing on the sand or well-maintained grass. Just a short walk up the beach are additional smaller coves that are great for snorkeling and you can almost always find turtles enjoying them as well. There are plenty of restaurants at the nearby (walking distance) Marriott hotels, New Disney Hotel or shopping center and there is also a Roy’s restaurant within walking distance on the gorgeous Ko Olina Golf Course. The JW Marriott has tennis courts on top of the parking garage with great ocean views.

Ko Olina Resort is conveniently located just 21 freeway miles from Honolulu Airport, and about 30 freeway miles from Waikiki. There is a brand new Costco in Kapolei is just a few miles away. Kapolei is a new master planned city with major stores, such as Safeway and Target, and plenty of restaurants.

The condo is top-of-the-line luxury and has a complete Roy Yamaguchi designed kitchen with induction cooktop Wolf oven and subzero refrigerator. Dishwasher, microwave, wine chiller cabinet, complete dishware, cookware and all the appliances so you can make your favorite meals. The floor plan is wide so all bedrooms and living areas have ocean views. There is also a Bosch washer and dryer located inside the unit. There are even 2 parking spots located in the underground garage.

There are boogie boards, snorkeling gear, swimming noodles, and some water toys in the unit for your enjoyment. We also have a cooler and the blue ice for you to bring cold drinks and food to the beach or the pool. There are 2 beach chairs for you to take to the beach and relax.

There is a King size bed in the Master bedroom and two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom that can be combined to make a 2nd King. There is a very comfortable sofa bed in the great room.

- "We had a fantastic stay at Ko'Olina. Property was beautiful and exactly as described. If anything, resort area was undersold in the description. Walking trail along the ocean between condo and neighboring hotels is a wonderful resource, as are walkable restaurants and shops. There were six of us (4 adults and 2 children) and sleeping arrangements really better for 5 (sofa bed is tight for two), but kids are flexible and we made due with a bed of sofa cushions. Lanai opens up and makes condo feel very spacious. It's a stunning place and we'd go back in a heartbeat. If you're planning to spend a lot of time in Waikiki/Honolulu, it is about a 30-45 min drive with parking and traffic, but we were more than happy to retreat back to the beauty and relaxation of Ko'Olina after spending time in the city. Can't recommend highly enough!"

- "We had a great stay at this villa! It was very clean and well stocked for everything we needed at the beach with our teenagers, including a perfect size cooler with ice packs (!), plenty of beach towels, a beach wagon, awesome beach chairs with pockets for your phones and drinks, snorkel masks and body boards. All 3 beds were comfortable and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The 2 roomy bathrooms had soft towels. The lanai/covered deck has a big table and chairs (along with a couch and table) with a great view of the huge, beautiful “quiet” pool below and the ocean in the distance. The lanai has great shade in the afternoons too - perfect for reading a book on your kindle! This condo is a quick elevator ride away from the “quiet” pool and the lagoon in front of the resort is just a short walk away (you wind through the “activity” pool area to get there). We thought our lagoon offered the most shade/grass areas for our beach chairs and was the least crowded (at least when we were there in early August). The walking path between all the resorts was wide and smooth and made it easy to get to the different restaurants at each resort (food wise - our resort only has a small menu of food/drinks at the bar by the activity pool). The resort itself was very clean and the gardens and pools etc are well kept up. Overall, our family loved staying in this villa and would love to return!"

We traveled with some friends and simply followed their lead to Ko'Olina. And although I booked the condo on my own I was still unsure if the unit was as good as it looked online. Let me tell you - it's better. The room is especially quiet, very comfortable and extremely well built. The beds are very comfortable and you can expect all of the comforts of home. Ray is very professional to work with and returned my security deposit on the same day we departed. The whole group especially loved hanging out at the amazing pool and hot tub area. Unlike resorts that area was quiet, clean and peaceful. Add the grass roof bar and beautiful ocean a few steps away and you have paradise.'

- "As others have mentioned, the pictures do not do this place justice. It is a spacious, beautiful, two suite condo with a massive kitchen. Yes, the furniture is a tad outdated, but we did not mind it one bit. The outdoor furniture is great for rocking yourself or a baby as you look at the ocean. I love having washing/drying in the unit. The location itself is great. 100 times better than Waikiki!! The resort is not crowded at all nor is the lagoon. I loved the landscaping and the multiple pools to choose from. You can rent chairs/umbrellas from Royal Hawaiian beach services. The owner Rob is awesome (even though it’s a tad pricey). This until is on the third floor, far corner, looking towards the Marriot, but a field is in between. You do have a view of the ocean, but not the Lagoon. This resort has staff on the property to help check you in just like a hotel, but you have the amenities of a condo. I absolutely loved this. Our A/C wasn’t working in the Master, but the owner got it fixed quickly. He is quick to respond to messages and was able to accommodate a later check out (although I know this isn’t possible during a busier season). If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! The only drawback would be if a resort is built next door. Until then, it’s a dream."

- "This condo was workable for my family, the pool was right outside the lanai - the bedrooms were great - loved the closets and pantry - very well stocked. Close to the lagoons and the shopping center located nearby. Morning walks was fabulous. Our hosts were helpful and amazing! There was a piano and guitar which my oldest grandson and his mom enjoyed!" - "The condo is well located near the pool and spa, and within walking distance to the lagoons, restaurants, and shopping. Bedroom closet space was ample and there were plenty of soft bath towels, soap and shampoo. Upstairs bed and baths were clean. We arrived 10 minutes before 2pm to check in and were greeted by one owner in the driveway asking us “What time did he (the other owner) tell you? Check in is at 3pm.” I showed the confirmation for check in at 2pm, and we waited outside in the rain for 20 minutes for the owner to vacate. Not a great way to extend a warm welcome. Cleanliness was an issue downstairs. The kitchen trash can had residue under the lid that smelled bad. (We cleaned it.) The oven had not been cleaned. The pullout sofa had food under the cushions. The vacuum filter was clogged. (We cleaned it.) About halfway through our visit a very foul odor came from under the stairs. We discovered multiple rattraps and one dead roof rat, which we removed. If the owners invest in a professional cleaning service, they’ll have a fine place in a great location to rent. We hope that’s what they do."
