* PLEASE NOTE CONDO UNIT DOES NOT HAVE A/C UNIT. Our condo faces the winward side of the island and is the only means of cooling. Windows are doors are required to be open for air to flow through the unit. This is common on the island due to our cool Hawaiian year round weather.

* Pool is a community amenity and during our construction period you may experience some closures and or some usage restrictions. Please be advised that if this occurs, it is out of our control and posted signs of such restrictions will be posted in the elevator or at the pool entrance.

* Our building is undergoing a remodeling upgrades on several portions of the building and thus guest experience may be affected. Please expect some amenity closures and or restrictions of use is some areas. Other items to expected are; some view disruptions, construction noise, workmen noise, vibrations, work related odors and parking restrictions or parking location changes. Current scheduled construction persist of Lanai repairs of which a scaffold is present in front on the Lanai for work access to above units. The Lanai repairs and scaffolding is currently scheduled to be present until April 2024. More information can be provided by request. Please note that construction work hours are from M-F, 8 am to 5 pm. Although these interruptions may not be experienced daily or present during your stay, we do apologies in advance and recommend scheduling all your activities and outings during this time frame to make the best of your experience and save the Weekends for the R/R potions of your vacation.

Rental Agreement requires booking guest to provide a valid picture identification card and a credit card. No charges will be administered directly for any cases covered by Listing platform policy. Only cases not covered under listing platform policy will be considered chargeable.

Local bus route in front of property. Ubers are available, however if you plan on just relaxing and not going anywhere, a car is optional as we have a convenient store and food trucks at a short walk away from the property.

All guest must sign a rental agreement and provide a guest list prior to taking occupancy. We have parking space for 1 vehicle on property, all other vehicles must park off property in grassy area. This is a non-smoking rental and no pets are allowed. HOA rules and posted signs must be followed. All guest fines and violations will be passed on to guest at cost plus a management fee for processing.

Note: There is on going building maintenance construction projects currently in place that may cause some disturbances, such as noise, building area/amenities closures and temporary parking spot changes and view disruptions. Construction, when scheduled are only during M-F from 8 am to 5 Pm. Please reach out us if you have any questions or concerns. Please note current on going construction of unit Lanai repairs in units along the building is underway. This activity includes scaffolding in front of units. Our "Ocean Blue Paradise" is a BEACHFRONT condo with a beautiful, unobstructed OCEANFRONT view. On a quiet, sandy beach just steps away. Our beach is reef protected, meaning the waves break offshore, so the ones coming onto the beach are usually pretty calm. Making our part of the ocean good for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, and fishing. It's especially good for small children.

You can often see big sea turtles sleeping on the beach, and swimming by. We enjoy beautiful sunrises in the morning, rainbows during the day, and moon rises at night. During whale season (November-April), we often see whales in the distance spouting and breaching. We love to sit on the lanai and watch the splendor the ocean has to offer us. One of our favorite things to do is snorkel right off our beach. We often swim with sea turtles who are feeding on the coral just off shore. We also love seeing the turtles sleeping on the beach during our nightly walks. Just be sure to be quiet, keep your distance, and don't shine a flashlight or use a flash when taking pictures.

Our condo is in a complex that sits on a quiet, sandy beach. There is no public beach access thru our property, so there are times when you practically have it all to yourself! Our complex is located on what they call the windward side of the island. We're halfway between Kualoa Ranch and the Polynesian Cultural Center, about 10 minutes from each one. We are away from all the traffic and congestion of Honolulu, in what they call the "true country" of Oahu. Yet we are still centrally located to many popular tourist attractions. You can hang out on our beach, or go to one of the many beaches or other destinations within 10-15 minutes of us. If you do decide to go to Honolulu, it is just a beautiful 45 minute drive, through the mountains and along the coastline, with many scenic spots along the way. We think you would come to love it on our side of the island as much as we do. Many of our guests, who have split their vacations with some nights in Honolulu and some in our condo, have told us they wish they would have just stayed in here the whole time. That, of course, makes us feel really good!

Our Ocean Blue Paradise is truly our idea of Paradise! Hopefully, it will become your Paradise, too! Many people have told us we have one of the best locations in the building because of our unobstructed view of the ocean, palm trees, and beach. Which you will have practically all to yourself, because there is no public beach access. The pool area is also just for residents, so it's usually pretty quiet. You will have ''No Worries'' as the locals say...only to decide if you are going to spend the day on the beautiful beach outside, or go for a scenic drive along the coast to do some sightseeing. We have a true 1-bedroom (not the small sleeping alcove some call a bedroom).

We hope you to enjoy our Ocean Blue Paradise, and come to love it as much as we do. Our goal is to have you walk in, take one look at the gorgeous ocean view, feel the Trade Winds blowing through, listen to the waves... and immediately relax & let all your stress start melting away. Close your eyes and imagine it now.... doesn't it sound wonderful?

We just purchased this condo and spent several months remodeling it. The kitchen was the most time consuming, but it was worth it because it was a labor of love. We just finished remodeling the whole condo, almost everything is new! We have new SS appliances, washer/dryer, cabinets, quartz counter tops, furniture, mattresses, linens, dishes, silverware, cookware, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, a cooler, and much more. We also redid the bathroom by taking out the tub and replacing it with a beautiful walk-in shower.

We offer free high speed wireless internet(WiFi) and a free assigned parking place. We've tried to stock our condo with everything we could think of that you might want to make your stay in Paradise very enjoyable. Our policy is to try to give you with all the supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, regular soap, dish soap, laundry soap, etc) you will need for your whole stay, not just the starter packs most owners leave. We also try to keep a good supply of condiments, spices, snorkel gear, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and kid's beach toys on hand for you to use.

Even though you do not come on vacation to cook, I think you'll find you can save a lot of money by using our remodeled kitchen. And while you're cooking, you can look right out to the ocean and listen to the waves. It is fully equipped with whatever you should want to prepare a full meal, or to just make a picnic lunch to take with you on a sightseeing trip. We even have a cooler for you to put it in!

There are a few things we want to be sure you NOTICE, because the only surprises we want you to have are good ones:

1- THE BUILDING IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING SOME MAJOR RENOVATIONS. We want to be sure to tell you right from the start about the POSSIBLE CONSTRUCTION NOISE on weekdays, Mon-Fri from 9am-4:30pm (excluding Holidays). Most guests say it's not too much of an inconvenience because they are either gone sightseeing, or are out on the beach, during the day anyway. Due of the building's construction, you'll save money since we've discounted our prices lower than they normally would be.

2- There is an ADDITIONAL ONE-TIME $150 CLEANING FEE to be paid directly to our cleaning lady when the final payment is made.

3- We DON'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, neither do most of the condos in our building. Usually the trade winds blow through the condo so well that we are very comfortable without AC. We do have ceiling fans and a pedestal fans in the condo. But their are times when the trades do die down and it gets warm, especially in the Summer. Just want to be sure you have considered that.

Our condo will comfortably sleep up to 4 adults and 1 child (our third seeping spot is a twin size 3" foam throw down futon). Guests tell us they love being able to hear the ocean waves at night from our second bed, the queen-size murphy bed, because it's on the ocean side of the condo. We also have a king-size bed in the bedroom, which is on the mountainside of the condo. We love to sleep on the Murphy bed in the living room ourselves so the waves can lull us to sleep.

We have lots of dresser, closet, and cabinet space, so you will be able to unpack your suitcases and make yourself at home. We know some of you like to fall asleep listening to the TV, so we have one in the bedroom and one in the living room. We've tried to stock our vacation home with all the things we enjoy when we are traveling. You'll have the choice to sleep in the bedroom on the king size plush bed, or in the front room listening to the waves and waking up to see the Sunrise from the Murphy Bed. Then a child could sleep on the twin size futon, but it probably would not be comfortable for a teen. There is almost always a nice breeze blowing through the condo due to the trade winds, but for those who like a fan...we have ceiling fans with remotes and a pedestal fan.

We've hired the best cleaning person in the building so our guests can be assured the condo will be freshly cleaned and ready for you to enjoy. Whether this is your first trip to Paradise, or you are a return visitor, we think you would also find the binder we have put together very helpful. It shows local restaurants, grocery stores, churches, shopping, and has tips of things to do. We also have a map, a Hawaii guidebook, and some coupon books to help you.

Included in our long term stay price we will have the housekeeper come in and change towels, sheets, and tidy up for you after 2 weeks at no extra charge. Stay as long as you like.

Creature comforts include: Mini-split air conditioner, WiFI, and wireless Sonos music system that streams music of your choice. TV shows and movies streamed via Netflix. Lighting is all dim-able low voltage halogen. Bedroom features a pillow top King bed with plush hotel quality sheets and overhead ceiling fan. Tiled shower with 4 sets of towels provided. Large ceiling fan in the great room circulates the cooled air. With the air conditioner, you can keep the windows closed to minimize road noise and salty air. Portable gas barbecue for grilling. Fully stocked kitchen with externally vented hood allows you to cook, eat in, and feel at home.

The big round table has a plug near it and this is where my son works from home. The WiFi is fast. We have no washer or dryer currently but we have a drying rack and a clothesline and wash small items in the big kitchen sink if needed. The laundromat in Kaneohe is great and several loads can be done in about an hour. Housekeeper laundry arrangements can also be made.

Favorite things to do: 1) Greet the morning with a cup of coffee on the lanai and watch the sunrise. 2) Go to a new beach every day. 3) Take a drive to Haleiwa for shave ice and a stand up paddle board lesson. 4)Explore the road less traveled, south towards Kaneohe-Kailua area all the way to Waimanalo beach. 5) Snorkel behind the house anytime you want. Play pickle ball with the locals.
Other than that, sit back and relax in your own private slice of Hawaii. Aloha!

Central air is nice and kept whole house cool when it was hot and no breeze. Dog noise was not a problem and the road noise is part of renting on the ocean on this side of island. Located just 31.5 miles from the airport and a mostly shoreline view drive, the turquoise waters will follow and welcome as you approach your destination. Your private suite entrance opens to a spacious 20 by 30 living area opening to a lovely lanai (patio) garden. The exquisitely appointed classic Hawaiian decor with its open room allows for a feeling of freedom and relaxed flow. The suite has a large comfortable sleeping area with king bed separates from the main living area. Included are four twin beds in the main living area to accommodate up to a total of six + in the main suite. The bedroom is perfect for study or separate seclusion. If the 'simple life' is more to your taste, waken in the morning to the songs of Hawaiian doves playing in our Norfolk pine and 3 palms. Very close to Polynesian Cultural Center if you want to experience, learn the Hawaiian history and it’s hard to beat Luau and Ha Breath of life Show (it’s a must and book early). If you’re in for an adventure kayak and hike to the top of China Man’s Hat, from there you have this jaw dropping view of the Koolau mountains. Kent’s place is not far from North Shore’s famous beaches. It’s very close to local eateries and food trucks. Kent is a very accommodating host, made us feel it’s our home away from home. We were disappointed that his place was not available for an extended stay. It mets all the check lists and beyond that my family needed for an excellent vacation. I would definitely stay here again. Access to your condo is by two secured elevators. There is free parking for 1 car in a designated stall with additional parking available on the street.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled right on the oceanfront in Hauula, this condominium offers immediate access to a beach protected by a reef, ideal for snorkeling. Just across the street, you'll find a variety of dining options including Shrimp Truck, Thai Food Truck, Burger Food Truck, Vietnamese Pho Food Truck, a Hawaiian Ice stand and a convenience store with a local food counter. For entertainment, the Polynesian Cultural Center, a top paid attraction in Hawaii, is less than 5 miles away. Explore nearby Laie Beach Park for body surfing (5 minutes away) and drive a bit further to enjoy Turtle Bay Resort's golf courses/restaurants and the famous North Shore surfing beaches. During the winter months, witness the impressive 30-40 foot waves along the North Shore, and visit Waimea Bay and Waimea Falls Park. The charming town of Haleiwa, with its art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, is also a short drive away. Enjoy horseback riding close by and the beach and ocean at your doorstep. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our lanai each morning and hearing the roosters. We really appreciated the beach gear supplies for us to use during our stay. The air conditioner in the living room and kids bedroom was an added bonus. The kids loved the bunk beds in their room. The washing machine was a bit of an issue during our stay as it was not working. They did their best to get someone in to fix it but unfortunately it still did not work. 2 days prior to check out a very friendly repair man came to fix it and was successful. We were thankful for our time in our condo. Thank you"
