WORLD-RENOWNED SUNSET BEACH IS A THREE MINUTE WALK, and more than 20 other world premier surfing spots are just minutes away, including Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Our cottage was lovingly built, in 2008, to be enjoyed by family and friends like you. This stand-alone bungalow was designed for island living with an open floor plan and high beamed ceiling. A large central skylight allows you to watch the stars at night while lying in the comfort of your California King sized bed. Smooth, cool lava rock covers the floors, and stunning 'island style' and Southeast Asian furnishings, help you to know you have arrived in Hawaii.

After a day in the sun, you can rinse off in one of two showers: An INDOOR marble & lava oversized walk-in shower, or a large, private OUTDOOR shower. Evenings can be spent lounging on the covered lanai, barbecuing and dining alfresco, or relaxing inside, watching the 46-inch flat-screen TV. A Kaimaina home that is nestled on a quiet dead end street in the coveted neighborhood of Sunset Point. This one of a kind home has been in our family for over 70 years. Remodeled and completely refurbished, this is “country living” at its best. This two bedroom one bath home is air conditioned. A few steps out the door and you will be at one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world, Sunset Beach. Mothers Beach as it is known to the locals, is where local parents bring their Keiki (children) to frolic in the surf. We are just a few minutes drive to Chuns Reef, Pipeline (where surfers barrel thru the curling waves) Ehukai (Turtle Beach) Sharks Cove and Waimea Bay.
We offer a large backyard that is tropical and restful should you decide to “just be”.
There is an outdoor shower to wash away the sand and to refresh yourself. All of this will take you back to years gone by and the beauty of Hawaii.

This home was acquired by my wife and I upon the passing of my mom. We loved the many cherished memories that we had as children living on the North Shore. As children we roamed the empty lots and neighborhood while spending countless hours in the pristine water that was just steps away. This was our magnificent playground! It can be yours too! While simple in style, the home has been completely redone and is a tribute to the life that we once shared. While we are not the largest house on the block we are simply the loveliest!

Upon waking and making our coffee, we sit on the front porch where we hear the soft music of the birds blending with the sound of the surf rolling into the shore. Life becomes a moment of thoughtful steps. The smell of the salt air and the whisper of trade winds brings all of our senses to its maximum potential. Peace fills the many chambers of our thoughts, as we take in each moment with awe and the beauty of this special place. A stroll on the sand often leads to the discovery of beautiful shells that have washed ashore. - "We’ve been to the North Shore several times over the past ten years (Sunset Beach area), but this house tops it all off. It was exactly as described. One review got it wrong, however: The house is not minutes away from the beach, it’s only seconds away! We stayed one month to watch – among other things – the 2 WSL CT events at Pipeline and Sunset. To Ehukai Beach Park it’s a 30-minute walk, so you don’t have to use the car. And you can watch the event at Sunset practically from your “home beach” (Mothers Beach) or walk 5 minutes if you want to listen to Rocky Canons beach commentary. There is one more thing I would like to point out: we were a party of 4 adults and my sister-in-law is a professional cook, who cooked for us every day. She was really amazed how well equipped the kitchen was. There was absolutely nothing that was missing! One last thing that we really enjoyed were the two huge lanais that gave perfect shelter from the rain which you have to expect in January & February. And I must not forget the perfect communication with Pat. Thanks again, Pat, for letting us share the real Aloha spirit."

Beach House sits on a beautiful 10,000 square foot lot with 130 feet of direct ocean frontage. The home is located on a corner lot with sand surrounding more than half of the home. The home is perfectly located halfway between Waimea Bay and Haleiwa town on Oahu's famous North Shore. The home was originally constructed as the Laniakea Train Station in the late 1800's. The home is raised above the winter surf on large cement pillars and because it was originally constructed many years ago it is built much closer to the beach than most North Shore beachfront homes.

Chuns Reef Beach House has one of the best locations on the North Shore with a beautiful white sandy beach at your doorstep. Once you open the gate, the sand is just steps away. We provide lots of beach toys for the use of our guests including sand chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, soft top surfboards, paddle boards, kayaks, and coolers. Chuns Reef is the best spot for water activities on the North Shore during the calm summer months!!!! The calm summertime reef is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle board and beginner surf lessons. Tide pools in front of the home can provide hours of exploration for the little ones.

***THIS IS A SHARED PROPERTY. THERE ARE THREE SEPARATE PRIVATE UNITS ON THE PROPERTY*** Each unit is self contained and completely separate from the other units. All units have their own private lanai. You rarely see other guests unless they are in the common areas.

The oceanfront studio is very secluded from the rest of the home and is tucked away on the lower level of the property with an amazing covered beachfront lanai. The oceanfront studio is cut into the lava rocks and is located under the house. Because it is surrounded on three sides by rock, it makes it extremely private. The covered lanai has spectacular beachfront views of the ocean. There is a beautiful hammock, teak bar table and chairs and Balinese daybed located on the lanai to capture the best views of the surf. It is just feet from the sand.

The oceanfront studio is a large studio with a beautiful king teak Balinese canopy bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress. All beds feature down comforters and pillows along with fresh white linens. The studio features a fully equipped kitchenette with countertop burner, Cusinart microwave oven, Cusinart coffee maker and Breville countertop oven. There is a sitting area with a down blend slipcover sofa and 46' Sony flat screen TV. There is a small round teak dining table with 2 chairs. The bathroom features a shower. There is also a childrens bunk bed for two.

The home is furnished with beautiful Balinese furnishings.

This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment on a large gated lot in a very secluded neighborhood on the North Shore. The property is located on a hillside above the ocean, (it is not beach front). It is a 3 minute drive from the property to the famous world class beaches and surfing of the North Shore. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and large bathroom with washer and dryer. Plenty of safe parking on the property. It is a downstairs apartment and the owner lives upstairs.The apartment has no stairs for a easy entry.

The apartment is the bottom unit of our home. Separate entrances and parking from owners. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with full laundry. First bedroom has queen size bed and 2nd bedroom has a queensize bed. The kitchen has everything to make you feel like home. Full size oven and fridge. Toaster, microwave, dishes, utensils, coffee pot etc. The bathroom has a toilet room and walk-in shower, vanity, full sizewasher and dryer. The apartment also has air conditioning to keep you comfortable.

We have lived on the property for over 35 years and are responsible adults in our 50's. We also like to have fun, on the weekends we may friends over for dinner parties and sometimes we may start our dirt bikes to go for a ride. We have 3 adorable dogs, Harley, Haze and Kaipo that may come down and say Hi. It is a great spot, with banana trees, papaya trees and taro on the property. A occasional peacock may show up. Its the perfect little get away! 90 day rental.
