Situated privately, on the bottom 1/3 of our family's acre, with mountains rising behind and farm animals adding to the rural landscape. In this setting, it's hard to imagine that the world's most beautiful and pristine beaches are literally, just down the road. WORLD-RENOWNED SUNSET BEACH IS A THREE MINUTE WALK, and more than 20 other world premier surfing spots are just minutes away, including Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Spectacular and magnificent beaches abound on the North Shore . . . all awaiting your exploration.

Our cottage was lovingly built, in 2008, to be enjoyed by family and friends like you. This stand-alone bungalow was designed for island living with an open floor plan and high beamed ceiling. A large central skylight allows you to watch the stars at night while lying in the comfort of your California King sized bed. Smooth, cool lava rock covers the floors, and stunning 'island style' and Southeast Asian furnishings, help you to know you have arrived in Hawaii.

After a day in the sun, you can rinse off in one of two showers: An INDOOR marble & lava oversized walk-in shower, or a large, private OUTDOOR shower. Evenings can be spent lounging on the covered lanai, barbecuing and dining alfresco, or relaxing inside, watching the 46-inch flat-screen TV. If you desire a more active nightlife, Haleiwa town offers restaurants, bars, and entertainment.

A Kaimaina home that is nestled on a quiet dead end street in the coveted neighborhood of Sunset Point. This one of a kind home has been in our family for over 70 years. Remodeled and completely refurbished, this is “country living” at its best. This two bedroom one bath home is air conditioned. A few steps out the door and you will be at one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world, Sunset Beach. Mothers Beach as it is known to the locals, is where local parents bring their Keiki (children) to frolic in the surf. We are just a few minutes drive to Chuns Reef, Pipeline (where surfers barrel thru the curling waves) Ehukai (Turtle Beach) Sharks Cove and Waimea Bay.
We offer a large backyard that is tropical and restful should you decide to “just be”.
There is an outdoor shower to wash away the sand and to refresh yourself. All of this will take you back to years gone by and the beauty of Hawaii.

This home was acquired by my wife and I upon the passing of my mom. We loved the many cherished memories that we had as children living on the North Shore. As children we roamed the empty lots and neighborhood while spending countless hours in the pristine water that was just steps away. Although Sunset Beach has grown in size and population, the precious ALOHA SPIRIT remains intact. Spending days at this wonderful home allows us to reconnect with our past, to enjoy the present, and to dream of the many tomorrows that we as well as the future generations hope to have. This is what we offer to you. A place to relax and to make wonderful memories. As children there was no need for toys as the beauty of the universe lay at our doorstep. This was our magnificent playground! It can be yours too! While simple in style, the home has been completely redone and is a tribute to the life that we once shared. While we are not the largest house on the block we are simply the loveliest!

We fall asleep with the soft sound of the surf. Upon waking and making our coffee, we sit on the front porch where we hear the soft music of the birds blending with the sound of the surf rolling into the shore. Life becomes a moment of thoughtful steps. The smell of the salt air and the whisper of trade winds brings all of our senses to its maximum potential. Peace fills the many chambers of our thoughts, as we take in each moment with awe and the beauty of this special place. A stroll on the sand often leads to the discovery of beautiful shells that have washed ashore. Collecting them for a jar of treasures or to make beautiful shell jewelry is limited only by your imagination.

- "We’ve been to the North Shore several times over the past ten years (Sunset Beach area), but this house tops it all off. It was exactly as described. One review got it wrong, however: The house is not minutes away from the beach, it’s only seconds away! We stayed one month to watch – among other things – the 2 WSL CT events at Pipeline and Sunset. To Ehukai Beach Park it’s a 30-minute walk, so you don’t have to use the car. And you can watch the event at Sunset practically from your “home beach” (Mothers Beach) or walk 5 minutes if you want to listen to Rocky Canons beach commentary. There is one more thing I would like to point out: we were a party of 4 adults and my sister-in-law is a professional cook, who cooked for us every day. She was really amazed how well equipped the kitchen was. There was absolutely nothing that was missing! One last thing that we really enjoyed were the two huge lanais that gave perfect shelter from the rain which you have to expect in January & February. And I must not forget the perfect communication with Pat. Thanks again, Pat, for letting us share the real Aloha spirit."

Beach House sits on a beautiful 10,000 square foot lot with 130 feet of direct ocean frontage. The home is located on a corner lot with sand surrounding more than half of the home. The home is perfectly located halfway between Waimea Bay and Haleiwa town on Oahu's famous North Shore. The home was originally constructed as the Laniakea Train Station in the late 1800's. The home is raised above the winter surf on large cement pillars and because it was originally constructed many years ago it is built much closer to the beach than most North Shore beachfront homes.

Chuns Reef Beach House has one of the best locations on the North Shore with a beautiful white sandy beach at your doorstep. Once you open the gate, the sand is just steps away. We provide lots of beach toys for the use of our guests including sand chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, soft top surfboards, paddle boards, kayaks, and coolers. Chuns Reef is the best spot for water activities on the North Shore during the calm summer months!!!! The calm summertime reef is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle board and beginner surf lessons. Tide pools in front of the home can provide hours of exploration for the little ones.

The oceanfront studio is very secluded from the rest of the home and is tucked away on the lower level of the property with an amazing covered beachfront lanai. The oceanfront studio is cut into the lava rocks and is located under the house. Because it is surrounded on three sides by rock, it makes it extremely private. The covered lanai has spectacular beachfront views of the ocean. There is a beautiful hammock, teak bar table and chairs and Balinese daybed located on the lanai to capture the best views of the surf. It is just feet from the sand.

The oceanfront studio is a large studio with a beautiful king teak Balinese canopy bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress. All beds feature down comforters and pillows along with fresh white linens. The studio features a fully equipped kitchenette with countertop burner, Cusinart microwave oven, Cusinart coffee maker and Breville countertop oven. There is a sitting area with a down blend slipcover sofa and 46' Sony flat screen TV. There is a small round teak dining table with 2 chairs. The bathroom features a shower. This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment on a large gated lot in a very secluded neighborhood on the North Shore. The property is located on a hillside above the ocean, (it is not beach front). It is a 3 minute drive from the property to the famous world class beaches and surfing of the North Shore. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and large bathroom with washer and dryer. Plenty of safe parking on the property. It is a downstairs apartment and the owner lives upstairs.The apartment has no stairs for a easy entry.

We have 3 adorable dogs, Harley, Haze and Kaipo that may come down and say Hi. It is a great spot, with banana trees, papaya trees and taro on the property. A occasional peacock may show up. We are truly on Sunset Point the ocean side of Kamehameha highway between Backyards beach and the bike path. Only 300 feet from the beach access! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach with no highway to cross.

This beautiful property is in a prime spot for surfing of all levels and/or swimming with the kids and exploring the tide pools. We are just a few houses back from Backyards surf break and a 3 minute walk to Sunset Point Surf Break. If you hop on the bike path you can access V-land, Rockies, Pipeline and Waimea Bay with in a few minutes. Additionally, we are a 2 minute walk from famous Ted's bakery and short drive to the grocery store Foodland. Plus don't forget your skate board one of the best skate parks on the Island is only 2 miles away! Hiking is also very close and accessible. Very cute dogs live on the property but have no access to the rental.

Our sweet and simple property has been remodeled and is fully furnished which provides plenty of privacy and quietness to relax with family and friends. There is off street parking. This unit is equipped with all the comforts of home! We also have a crib and beach toys for the kids! Our local Bike rental service delivers bikes. Laundry service is provided for sheets and towels as often as you need. Personal items are $10 per load.

- "Location, location, location...when you think of Hawaii, this is the location you are thinking of. On the shore of one of the most popular beaches in the surfing world, Chun's Reef, this spot is perfect...unmatched!!! The home is a little dated and we could have used a 2nd bathroom, but overall, a fair price for the location. The traffic is a little tough in that area, but to be expected in that part of the North Shore. Michelle, the owner, was easy to get a hold of and Diane saw to your day to day needs. Both ladies were wonderful to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will be back."

Our guests can begin their North Shore adventure as soon as they walk out the door. If morning exercise is part of your routine, then head around the corner to Kaiaka Park and walk/jog/run among spectacular trees with incredible river, mountain, and ocean views. Stop along the way to watch the sea turtles and check out the tide pools. An awesome way to start your day! If a coastline walk is more your style, head down the block to our gorgeous neighborhood beach where, more likely than not, you’ll have the ocean to yourself. This leisurely walk might just bring you face to face with more than one majestic sea turtle. What a way to start your day!

Since the North Shore is home to some of the most famous beaches and surf spots in the world, our guests are extremely lucky to be within walking distance of one of the best. Just a short walk from the house, explore famous Ali’i Beach, home of the first event in the Van’s Triple Crown of from November thru December. Go! Rent a board! Surf where the Pro’s surf!

But if surfing isn’t quite up your alley, you can always try kayaking, jet skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, sailing, kite surfing, whale watching (in season) OR horseback riding, hiking, sky diving, shark cage diving, zip lining, ATVing, OR just picnic and sun bathe!

Historic, picturesque Haleiwa Town is home to brightly colored boutiques, galleries, surf shops, restaurants, and more recently, some of the best “food truck fare” anywhere! All this and a two minute drive from our guest house!

Drive a little further “up the road” and be astounded by the pristine coastline. Visit beautiful Waimea Bay, hike Waimea Valley, swim under a spectacular waterfall, check out Sharks Cove, be mesmerized by the waves at Banzai Pipeline, and enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere at famous Sunset Beach.

If you decide to leave the intoxicating North Shore, it’s about an hour drive to the hustle and bustle of famous Waikiki.

But before you go, make it a point to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center for a one of the best luau dinners and spectacular shows on the Island. And an afternoon at the Dole Plantation is a only for the mouth watering pineapple ice cream!

“Slippahs” (aka flip-flops) are the preferred mode of local transportation. However, remember to bring sneakers or walking/hiking shoes. You’ll see many locals and tourists “getting around town” on bicycles, surf boards, paddle boards, boogie boards, canoes, and kayaks. Luckily, our guests can rent all of the above in Haleiwa 😎

The BUS, Oahu’s public transportation system, is actually a good way to get around the Island if you opt not to get a rental car.

We are truly on Sunset Point the ocean side of Kamehameha highway between Backyards beach and the bike path. Only 300 feet from the beach access! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach with no highway to cross.

This beautiful property is in a prime spot for surfing of all levels and/or swimming with the kids and exploring the tide pools. We are just a few houses back from Backyards surf break and a 3 minute walk to Sunset Point Surf Break. If you hop on the bike path you can access V-land, Rockies, Pipeline and Waimea Bay with in a few minutes. Additionally, we are a 2 minute walk from famous Ted's bakery and short drive to the grocery store Foodland. Plus don't forget your skate board one of the best skate parks on the Island is only 2 miles away! Hiking is also very close and accessible. Very cute dogs live on the property but have no access to the rental.

Our sweet and simple property has been remodeled and is fully furnished which provides plenty of privacy and quietness to relax with family and friends. There is off street parking. This unit is equipped with all the comforts of home! We also have a crib and beach toys for the kids! Our local Bike rental service delivers bikes. Laundry service is provided for sheets and towels as often as you need. Personal items are $10 per load.

I enjoyed coffee on the small deck in the mornings listening to all the birds surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers. Even with the shots of rain we had it was a magical spot!!!! Being a surfer I loved the location. Having a bike with the rental was so nice I never drove to any of the surf breaks from Log Cabins to V-Land and everywhere in between. And it’s close to so many beautiful unique beaches. And the beach that is closest to the property is a hidden gem. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The bed was super comfortable and the a/c and the fan and the dehumidifier allowed us to get the temperature just right. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. The space was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. There were too many unique touches to mentioned but the beautiful wood floors, natural tree columns, woodwork on the rafters and the antique gas stove were our favorites. The kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of space to prepare and enjoy meals. The house is surrounded by lush greenery and towering palms with an outdoor shower and a small side yard. The on-site washer and Dryer allowed us to pack a little less. Our host, JMarie was attentive and available for anything we needed. She even made sure we had bikes to explore the North Shore. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, very convenient to several uncrowded beaches and the famous North Shore bike path. You certainly have everything you need to "eat-in" but if you do want to venture out for an excellent meal, and staff that treats you like family, our friends at Lei Lei's Bar & Grill are only 5-10 mins away. - "Jasen’s apartment is absolutely amazing. It has a beautiful wide open view of the beach and ocean. The space is immaculately clean and while has everything you need for storage etc, it has a minimalistic feel that I love -so incredibly relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. If you’re a tv watcher, then you can use the multiple apps on the television or cast from your phone - easy. The apartment is a short walk from the town of Haleiwa. There are awesome hikes a short drive away. I highly recommend Ke’ana Point -stunning. If you don’t mind driving, there are some stunning ridge walks close to Honolulu and Hawaii Kai. Pop out on the ground floor lanai to give a nod to Mount Kaʻala, the highest mountain on the island of O'ahu, and plan your day from there. Our home is an easy 10 minute walk from all the surf shops, art galleries, grocery stores, and restaurants of Haleʻiwa. If you come in the winter, you might be lucky enough to see the Triple Crown surf competition right from your lanai. In this protected cove, you can go for a morning swim in the crystal clear waters and know that the odds of a turtle encounter are pretty darn good.

We want you to have an amazing time staying here and we've opened up our personal chest to share with our guests. We've thought of amost everything! Help yourself to our 8' foam surfboard, our boogie board, one of six snorkel sets (including some kid sizes), and our beach chairs for your enjoyment. There are two yoga mats you may borrow (I love the North Shore Yoga Co-op) and I'd love for you to play our authentic Hawaiian ukulele!

The entire North Shore is right at your doorstep, but you might be just as happy hanging out right here! As the sun goes down, head on over to the common area BBQ and picnic tables and talk story with the friendly folks who are lucky enough to live here year-round. Be sure to snap a couple of photos of the glowing sunsets as the sun dips below Ka'ena Point and come back outside one more time after dark to see the countless stars. If you already love Hawai'i and feel it in your soul, or want to fall in love with Hawai'i, this is the place to stay.

Every single thing in this unit is brand new. A complete gut renovation was done in January 2023. The walls, the floors, the showers, the toilets, the counters, the cabinets, the furniture, the sheets, the towels, everything is brand brand brand new. High speed WIFI is provided and can be used to stream your favorite apps (hulu, Netflix, Amazon prime, HBO, etc) on the 50” TV. There is a well maintained coin operated laundry on site.

Personally, I prefer to sleep in the living room as I love to hear the ocean and feel the cool breeze, but no matter where you choose to sleep, four can comfortably fit here and you can know that this is a very quiet, peaceful community. There is a night manager on property and you can know that you are safe and secure in this most special place in the Universe. This home is a dream come true for our family and we are delighted to share it with you. Kids are most welcome here and we left some sand toys for yours to play with.

The kitchen is well stocked and you're going to love cooking here because the view is directly out to the gorgeous North Shore! Every appliance is here: tea kettle, coffee maker, french press, bean grinder, electric grill, electric range, large oven, ice maker, filtered water, blender, toaster, cookware, bakeware, measuring cups, blender...we've got it all and plenty of cabinet storage space for your groceries!

Just a short drive down the hill you will find Foodland, Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline, and more. Just a 15 min drive to Haleiwa or a 20 min drive to world-class golf at Turtle Bay. The Cabin is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for extended escapes with quality surf.

The shower is a large outdoor shower. We do the laundry for you weekly so you can enjoy your time on the island. We can help you arrange massages, acupuncture, and more. For the best experience, we recommend renting a car or moped. We can help arrange a 2019 Subaru outback or moped rental for a separate fee. Pupukea is in the country so expect geckos, chickens, birds, and other critters. Please provide the names and phone numbers of all guests.
