The end of our beach is a bird sanctuary as well as the estuary behind the house. There is a large variety of birds who migrate through this area at all times. Whale watching is nearby as the whales move south to begin their spawning and then move north through Punta Banda as they head back toward Alaska. The dolphins play in the waves right in the surf outside your windows!! Beach is sandy, no rocks, no undertow and safe for the kids.

Newly remodeled with cantara volcanic stone floors and hand painted tiles, this comfortable five bedroom/ 4.5 bath villa is centered around a large patio with a pool. Casa Peggy features a well-stocked gourmet kitchen with handmade Oaxacan ceramic dishware, a 5-burner gas stove, all new appliances and ample granite countertops to prepare your favorite meals. The house has two king, three queen and one full bed. We have a whole-house, reverse osmosis water purification system so all of the water in the house is safe to drink. A gas barbecue in a protected patio with views provides extra cooking space. An extra refrigerator in the garage ensures plenty of space for cold drinks.

The living room has floor to ceiling 17-foot windows with ocean views, a wood-burning fireplace and a 70 inch HDTV. Internet is provided through new fiberoptic cable. Casa Peggy was built in 1976 on one of the largest oceanfront lots in Bajamar by a local noted architect. Completely renovated over the past year, the house includes many modern updates. The house comes with tennis rackets, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and yoga mats.

This eco-property is located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, Bajilla de Paplotes (Kites Bay) and La Bufadora! Minutes from the front door are myriad hiking trails, tidal pools for snorkeling and swimming, a secluded beach at Crocodile Cove, as well as the the marine geyser and local market in the town of La Bufadora. You can even book a gastro-wine tour of the Guadalupe Wine Valley which is just an hour away or go dancing in downtown Ensenada which is 45 minutes away.

The properties at Baja Off the Grid are 100% solar powered and self contained with their own water and gas on site. We do have a back up propane generator for those cloudy days. That being said, our resources are precious and limited so we ask that all of our guests be mindful and conserve when possible. This entails: shorter showers, unplugging devices at night, flushing less, and connecting to our beautiful natural surroundings.
