The end of our beach is a bird sanctuary as well as the estuary behind the house. There is a large variety of birds who migrate through this area at all times. Whale watching is nearby as the whales move south to begin their spawning and then move north through Punta Banda as they head back toward Alaska. The dolphins play in the waves right in the surf outside your windows!! Beach is sandy, no rocks, no undertow and safe for the kids.

At check in, we had trouble with shutting/locking the door- eventually figured it out. There didn’t seem to be hot water, but after we turned the water heater up (as instructed by Eduardo after calling him) it worked ok. We did get asked to check out an hour earlier than stated on website, as they had another guest coming and needed cleaners to come thru. Fortunately, we wanted to leave early, so that was my an issue. Super friendly and accommodating and the actual house is really a great size In a good location."
