- "Our trip was scheduled more than a month ago. My son and I go to Del Mar every year and watch horse racing. We arrived on 8-19-23 as scheduled. It was a nice day with no rain. The forecast for Sunday, however, called for severe storms so racing was canceled. Ok, enough of the disappointment regarding horse racing! The Villa was perfect for the two of us. The eatery’s were close and the accommodations provided by John and Laura were excellent! Everything we needed was there and in good shape. We were a small group so the house felt big to us. We used the hot tub and pool area everyday. The yard was very pretty at night with the lights on. There are a few things that can be improved, such as better directions to use everything. I believe this was their first rental and Sebastian was very friendly and attentive to our requests. I feel strongly he will continue to make improvements to make this a great vacation rental. I would rent it again!"
