Right on renowned Kailua beach, our beachfront villa equipped with a pool and jacuzzi is perfect for all your vacation needs. Wake up and go watch the sunrise or a morning jog. The enclosed porch is perfect for all your meals with a beautiful view of the Mokulua Islands. Our fully stocked kitchen is perfect for all of your cooking needs. Feel the most amazing ocean breeze by opening the sliding doors. With the direct access provided to the beach, the location is unbeatable.
The space
There are 5 bedrooms available. The villa is covered in amazing wood furniture that suits the outdoors perfectly. The upstairs master bedroom features a private lanai and king bed, as well as a full bath. The second king suite (also upstairs) adjoins to a studio unit with two queen beds. The studio unit also comes with its on kitchenette and separate stairway entrance. Downstairs, there are two more bedrooms - both with king beds.
Every room has its own private A/C unit with a separate remote. All A/C units are split system.

Aloha from Kailua; we must do a 30-day minimum on our rental home until otherwise noted. Please don’t let this affect where you wish to vacation. Although I have to rent in a 30-day minimum this is not normally 1st through the 30th. Calendar not always reflecting this so please contact on availability. I will discount your stay accordingly. Please email me beforehand so we can make your vacation or event possible on Kailua beach. Kailua beach is a well-known spot to watch spectacular sunrises and, once or twice a month, enjoy watching the full moon rise out of the sea. The full moon rise has a unique bright orange glow. This beach villa is the perfect romantic island getaway. The views of the Mokulua islands can be enjoyed from your sprawling backyard, in a hammock under the palms.

About this space
Once inside our fully gated property you will be immersed in a lush tropical garden with palms surrounding a lagoon style pool. We are just a 2 minute barefoot stroll along a private lane to the soft white sands of Kailua Beach. Built in 1938, our home is full of Hawaiian charm and Balinese character. We are within walking distance to town and to all of the amenities that Kailua has to offer.

Air Conditioning
All 4 bedrooms have both fans and AC. There is split AC in the 3 main floor bedrooms and a window mounted AC in the upstairs bedroom. There is no AC in the living/dining areas or in the kitchen. However with plenty of louvred windows catching the trade winds and ceiling fans throughout, the house is pleasant and breezy.
Living/Dining
Our dining space is bright and airy with soaring ceilings and skylights. There is a large dining table which can seat up to 10.
There is plenty of space for relaxing, in our open plan living area, our covered lanai, on the spacious outside decks or in the lush and private garden.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is bright and well-equipped with everything you will need to feed a hungry crew or to create a gourmet meal. We have a kitchen nook table, full stove and refrigerator, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, instant pot, and vitamix blender for your convenience.
Laundry Area
The washer and dryer are located just off of the kitchen under the covered lanai.
Beach Toys
We have beach toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, paddle boards and surf boards as well as a cooler, beach chairs and a wagon for your enjoyment and use.
Bicycles
There are 3 adult bicycles with helmets and bike locks.
Parking
We have one dedicated parking spot inside our garage.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and garden.

- "Glenda's charming plantation style beach home could not be in a better location. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach down a quiet path and a 5 minute bike ride into Kailua town. Her home also features an absolutely fabulous pool that turns into a magical oasis at night. The house itself is spacious, private and includes a kitchen that has any item you could possibly need. The lanai is lovely for meals and conversation. The internet is strong and the pool and beach toys plentiful. We particularly loved access to the boogie boards and beach chairs! The Ohana upstairs is private and features lovely views of the surrounding mountains and a peak-a-boo glimpse of the ocean. It has a spiral staircase, which should be kept in mind for those that find those kinds of stairs tricky to navigate. Glenda has an onsite caretaker called Peter who is kind and helpful. He is from Kailua and available for anything that you might need during your stay. We have so appreciated our time at Glenda's cottage and made so many lovely memories. We look very forward to returning to Kailua in the future!"

- "My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing property right on Lanikai Beach! The layout of the house is perfect for a large group of people. We had our two kids and a few other family members/friends stay with us, and everyone truly enjoyed their visit. The location is wonderful. Just a few houses from the beach entrance, it was perfect for my kids to walk to and from (and great for us since we had to lug all of the beach gear). There are beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys already in the garage, so no need to have to go out and purchase anything when you arrive. The two washers/two dryers were amazing! With that many people and a plethora of beach towels, they made laundry so easy! Each room has its own AC unit, which was great for us since half of us love sleeping in the cold and the other loved sleeping with the windows open. There are two detached rooms from the rest of the house, which was perfect for the people not wanting to be woken by our kids early in the morning. One of the detached rooms has an attached game room with a popcorn machine (huge hit with my kids), games, and a large tv. This was great for movie nights! The pool is lovely and sits right in the middle of the property. There is also a hot tub overlooking the beautiful backyard. We loved sitting and eating on the back dining table while watching the ocean! The hammock was also very popular during our stay. We hope to come back next year! Thank you so much!"
