The Blue Turtle Villa, located in Key Colony Beach, in the Marathon area, is a gorgeous, brand new, designer decorated canal front duplex with a modern coastal feel! Each side is rented separately and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a private pool with a heater and a chiller, and all the amenities you would want for an amazing vacation in the fabulous Florida Keys!

There is 2309 square feet of living space, consisting of two living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs (with a sleeper sofa). Highspeed wireless internet is available free of charge (over 900 mbps) and there are 6 TVs (living room has cable; other have Netflix, Hulu, etc). Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and more! Keurig (pod and pot), pots, pans, dishes (adult & kids), silverware, baking sheets, muffin tin, Vitamix blender, food processor, crockpot, Dutch over, fondue pot, air fryer, pressure cooker, hand mixer, bar tender tools and more.

Upstairs is the open kitchen, dining and living area with a covered patio (with dining table and additional outdoor seating) overlooking the beautiful private pool with white marble and turf. The Master Suite upstairs has a king bed, en suite bathroom with two walk in closets. Also upstairs are the bunk beds with a full trundle and a hall bathroom.

Downstairs is a second living room area with a TV and sleeper sofa, a Junior Master with a king bed and en suite bathroom, and a guest room with a queen bed and bathroom that opens to the bedroom and hallway. The living room opens to a covered patio area with a Summer Kitchen with gas grill, BBQ accessories, dining table and furniture and outdoor shower!

There is a 35' Dock with fish cleaning station. If you are bringing a boat, the length of the boat cannot be more than 35' with the outboard motor in the tilt up position and pulpit and anchor ($ 200 a day imposed by the city if not followed) . The property cannot accommodate a boat trailer. Key Colony Beach provides trailer parking for a fee of $ 100 per week or $ 200 per month. It is available on a first come first serve basis. We will reimburse for the expense of parking your trailer at KCB. Please see below for additional details on trailer parking.

We provide all bed linens, bath and beach towels. In addition we provide these for your entire stay: paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dish washer detergent, basic cleaning supplies, sponge, green scrub pad, trash bags, laundry detergent, stain spray, bleach, bar soap for bathrooms.

There is a water front park on 12th Street (see pictures) where lots of neighbors gather to watch the sunset and sing songs. It's a wonderful experience you won't want to miss! (sorry, no swimming).

There are a variety of restaurants and shops in Key Colony Beach. There are plenty of shops, activities and restaurants in Marathon, all within a 10 minute drive!

There are two beaches in Marathon: Coco Plum Beach (3.4 miles) and Sombrero Beach (7 miles)

There are two grocery stores: Publix and Winn Dixie (5.4 miles).

The property has a 7 night minimum (required by the City of Key Colony Beach) and is limited to 10 guests, including infants (no exceptions). You are required to provided the names and ages of all guest and well as your license plate information. There is a form you will complete and it must be on site and available for inspection by Code Enforcement and/or Police Departments of the City of Key Colony Beach.

We provide check in information (address, access code and other information) the day before arrival.

Boat Trailer Parking: First come, first serve. The boat may not be left on the trailer. The trailer cannot have a lock on it. If you arrive on the weekend or after business hours, you will go to City Hall the next morning (before noon) to pay for and get your permit. If the permit is not on the trailer by noon, it could be towed. The city will provide a water proof permit and zip tie to sue to secure permit to your trailer. When you go to City Hall, you will need to provide the vacation rental address, the boat trailer tag and number and the trailer VIN number. Questions? Please call City Hall. We can form you need to complete and take with you to City Hall.

Welcome to The Salty Flamingo Villa. Where you will relax and enjoy what the Florida Keys have to offer. This 2/2 is fully renovated and has quick access to the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Bring your boat, up to 26’. There are multiple external freezers for bait storage and an outdoor laundry room. It has two large bedrooms with two bathrooms that have both been renovated and updated.

Each reservation also includes free access to the Key Colony Cabana Club that is located within walking distance of this property. The private Cabana Club does have a Sandy Beach, Olympic heated pool, jacuzzi and neat Tiki Bar with refreshments and snacks. It's a short walk!

This property has 3 queen beds in 2 rooms. Each bedroom has a large closet, with hangers for your clothes. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with Bidet. We also boast Wi-Fi with high speed internet and cable TV. The outside covered and fenced patio is perfect for sunsets with multiple fans, lights, a BBQ and plenty of seating to just relax and unwind after a long day of fishing. This area also sits behind the garage for privacy. Enjoy your evenings outdoors without being seen from the street. Not all properties have this kind of covered patio, it’s always an added bonus that you will certainly love.

The waters host Snapper, Yellowtail, Grouper, Mahi, King Fish and more species waiting for you. After a day in the water walk to nearby restaurants and the sunset park to relax and enjoy your evenings the way we were meant to! Our 30’ dock features a deck box, garden hoses for fresh water rinses, and a cutting station for the days catch. Key Colony is one of the safest cities. Leave your equipment on the boat or on the fenced in covered patio quickly and safely.

- "Great place to go and take the boat. Launch your boat at the Key colony marina for quick access to the home less than 5 min ride $30, or across the main road at the public boat ramp $25. Then a quick jump thru vaca cut, into the atlantic and around. 15-20 min ride to the home. Easy access to the Gulf and Atlantic thru vaca cut. Marina and bait store just down the canal. Was able to fuel up and get my essentials. Very well stocked home. Had everything needed to cook our fresh catch. Plenty of parking for two cars and my boat trailer."

THE SPACE
There is a 1980 sq ft. of living space consisting of two living areas one upstairs and one downstairs with a sleeper sofa high-speed Wi-Fi available free of charge, there are six TVs, kitchen is newly renovated it is stocked with everything you need to cook; pots pans, dishes, silverware, baking sheets, pressure cooker, air fryer and more.
Upstairs is an open kitchen dining and living area with an enclosed patio overlooking the fabulous Canal. The master suite upstairs has a king bed that you are able to incline and in suite newly renovated bathroom, also upstairsthe second bedroom has a large extra closet and bathroom right outside the bedroom.
Downstairs has its own private living area with two TVs, queen size bed in one room and a king size bed in the other room, bathroom is separated into two rooms for privacy shower and bath.
Backyard is equipped with gas grill with BBQ accessories, dining table under Tiki Hut, newly installed 8-person Wellis hot tub with all the bells and whistles including Bluetooth radio.
There is a 37-ft dock with fish cleaning station. If you're bringing a boat it cannot be more than 37 feet without board and tilt a position ($200 a day imposed by city if not followed).
We provide all bed linens bath and beach towels in addition we provided for your arrival paper towels toilet paper basic cleaning supplies laundry detergent bathroom toiletries to last you a few days recommend bringing additional supplies or buying additional supplies at local supermarkets
The local golf course is directly across the street from Mimosa Manor.
Located on 12th St. is Sunset Park where lots of neighbors walk to watch the sunset and sing songs a truly memorable experience you don't want to miss.

Access to both the ocean and gulf is also within walking distance. Watching the sunset at Sunset Park is a must see.
