- "The view over Le Lavandou and the sea is superb, it was lovely to look over the bay from the bathroom. We stayed in winter and the house was very warm with programmable heaters. The house is well furnished with high quality fittings and original oil paintings including two electric recliners, a large screen TV, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and has a washer dryer which is very useful in cold weather. The kitchen had a lot of useful utensils for preparing food. The beds were large and comfortable and you can raise the backs electrically. There is no traffic going by as this is a private gated development. Raymond the owner gave very detailed instructions on getting to the house and answered our questions very helpfully. Le Lavandou is a good base for accessing the coast east along to Cavaliere-sur-Mer and to Toulon in the west. Points to note: the house is the lower ‚step‘ to another house up the hill, we heard no noise from this other house. The staircase might be difficult for someone with limited mobility."

Large, magnificent villa ideally located in Le Lavandou, a stone's throw from Jean Blanc beach and a 5-minute walk from Aiguebelle beach. The house enjoys incredible sea views over the islands of Levant, Bagaud and Port-cros and is south-facing.

- "Great location and incredible views from the property - the pictures do not do it justice. All very clean, extremely well equipped and Nathalie the host was very responsive to all communications." - "This house is great. It is interesting and comfortable with absolutely wonderful views. Did I mention the VIEWS!!! Eight of us stayed there for a week in June. The pool is great. It is an easy hike down to the beach to swim in the sea — in a beautiful small bay. It is not as easy a hike back up, but definitely worth it. One of us had a fold-up bicycle which made it easy to visit one of the two (excellent) local bakeries for the morning croissants. There are always negatives with a vacation and we had two — both related. Traffic in the South of France is a nightmare. Nose to tail everywhere you go, even in June! Plan on staying close to the villa! The other problem is the traffic noise from the road below the villa. My friends say that as we are all getting deaf anyway it didn't really matter!! The owners were readily accessible when we needed help. They could not have been kinder. All of us would recommend this villa and are sorry that we did not have the chance to stay longer."
