Children are very welcome at Villa Oleander and we have plastic boules for the boules court and plenty of inflatables for the heated pool.

Thanks to excellent road links, Mougins is only 20 minutes from Nice Airport, yet retains its peaceful village charm.
Only 6km from Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea, Mougins is also home to the 427 hectare National Parc de La Valmasque and Lake Fontmerle, giving it a semi rural feel.
At a height of 260 metres, Mougins is beautifully maintained, its winding pedestrian streets filled with art galleries and over a dozen fabulous restaurants. Pablo Picasso chose Mougins as the place to spend his last 12 years, and his studio was in the Old Village. Other famous people who have chosen to live in Mougins include Fernand Léger, Jean Cocteau, Yves Saint Laurent, Winston Churchill and Édith Piaf.

- "We have just returned from a week in Mougins. It’s a great location with a short travelling distance by car to Cannes, Grasse, Nice, Valbonne etc. Great local shops and big supermarkets close by with everything you could need. The house itself is within a gated community which was quiet and felt very safe. The house was very clean and literally had every utensil/cooking equipment you’d need which was great as we ate dinner at home most evenings using the BBQ. Very spacious house especially with a 1yr old and 6yr old there was enough space for them to enjoy, all on 1 floor with no stairs which was a bonus with a very active 1yr old. They also provided us with a great travel cot! The pool was fantastic. Very clean, nice loungers, hammock and swinging chairs which the kids loved. There’s also a trampoline in the garden. The hosts, Philippe and Nathalie were very welcoming and always on hand should you need to ask anything. Overall we had a very relaxing stay in the house and are looking to return next summer!"

This spacious architect-designed house is furnished to a high standard with several original art pieces. It lies in peaceful wooded surroundings, and is reached at the end of a private road in a residential area, where you will find beautiful woodland and canal sidewalks. The property has extensive terracing and its own gardens, including large swimming pool. It is an ideal base for a holiday exploring the Cote D'Azur and Provence, with the famous Mougins Village a few minutes’ drive away.

External Location & Facilities: The property is accessed through secure electronically operated gates. The property lies within its own grounds with ample parking at the rear for several vehicles. The forest area around the villa is owned but there is a more secure set of gardens that are tended by a gardener and also included the swimming pool with extensive terracing. The pool is 11m x 5.5m mosaic tiled, it is heated by the sun and looked after by a specialist pool company who will visit once a week in high season to perform cleaning and maintenance. The villa is equipped with a plancha, as well as lots of external garden furniture for your enjoyment, and shady pergolas to dine and linger under. There is also a pétanque court 12m x 4m, table tennis and a baby football table for guests to enjoy. The villa is powered by solar panels including water heating.

Internal Layout & Facilities: The property is spacious with high ceilings (reaching 6m in the living area), with wide corridors and stairs. The entrance hall is on the same level as the upper bedrooms with their own loggia and access to the garden. Upstairs there is a contemporary bathroom to complement the en suite shower rooms, and separate toilets. There is a mezzanine area over the kitchen which is a stunning viewpoint to the lounge area.

The 5 bedrooms are all air conditioned. Upstairs there is a double and single both with showers en suite. There is additionally a separate bathroom and toilets. Each upper bedroom accesses an upper loggia which means the outside can be accessed directly including access to the pool by the upper terrace staircase.
The downstairs also has 3 bedrooms - one room with 2 singles, and shower and a master bedroom suite with double queen size bed, which includes a Japanese bathroom, shower and separate area. There is a separate bedroom/study with single bed, desk and its own oval wooden terrace area. Linen & bathroom towels, pool towels included. There is also a baby cot/high chair available.

Inside the living area is open plan and spacious. The kitchen has red granite work surfaces, two sink areas, a long bar and equipped with top of the range appliances/culinary aids for budding chefs. These include Miele ovens, including steam oven, plates warmer, microwave, Nespresso machine, mixing machine, toaster, induction plaque and extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer unit. Just off the kitchen is a separate laundry with a second fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. The kitchen connects to a separate dining area with large table and chairs and onto large terraces for alfresco dining/lounging. The large terrace will comfortably seat guests under the pergola for summer dining.
Open Living & Dining: The living area is spacious and open plan with living, dining area, bar and kitchen all working together. The main living has 2 leather sofas, and TV with Chromecast. This area in the summer can be accessed through large sliding internal doors which recess into the walls, making the whole space connect with the exterior gardens & terracing.

Please note we rent from Saturday pm for a minimum weekly period.

The villa itself is exactly as pictured in the many photos - gardens are beautifully landscaped and maintained, and the layout of the living space, plus all the bedrooms, worked really well for our family (my parents, brother and sister-in-law plus their baby, and myself, husband and two kids!). The attention to detail and thought that has gone into the property was much appreciated - even down to every room having it's own colour coded pool towels so nobody got confused! If you want to arrange a “party” in connection with renting, villa Malou offers different facilities for up to 50 adults. It is possible to entertain 300 people at the property, but then the price has to be discussed.
Once a week the pool will be cleaned, and a gardener will be provided. If there is anything we can do for you, just ask us, and we will do our best to fulfill your requests!

Welcome to our Neo Provençale style Villa located in a private and gated domain, Font de l'Orme district in Mougins.

We live there with our 2 young children and you will find all the necessary comfort for daily life.

The salt pool is completely private, heated and fully secure thanks to an automatic rigid shutter.

A true haven of peace, the estate is very calm and invites you to zen.
The house is fully air-conditioned (in summer) and has a pellet stove (in winter).

You will enjoy the studio in the garden (built in 2022) in which there is a bedroom and a bathroom + WC

The villa is very bright. We offer 1 bedroom, Sofitel MyBed king size bed and another room that can be used as a bedroom or office (on request) as well as 2 bathrooms (+ the outside studio).

You will be able to work from anywhere thanks to our fiber connection (even from the terrace 😉) thanks to our internet fiber.

On the garden side, a Weber barbecue awaits your grills. There is a climatic pergola, a synthetic lawn area and a vegetable garden from which you can harvest vegetables if you are lucky.

This unique contemporary villa totalling 220 m², composes the main house with a very spacious living / dining / kitchen area, two bedrooms (both with en-suite), an office and guest WC. The adjoining annexe (ideal for older children) is composed of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and kitchen/living area which can be used as a large 5th bedroom.

The true magic of this home is its outdoor living spaces: over 100 m² of wooden deck with dining and lounge areas overlooking 2,000 m² of natural garden, planted with lavender, olive and fig trees (ready to pick in August!), a salt water pool, a pétanque pitch and table tennis.

The villa’s conveniently located at the foot of the old Mougins village (known for its art and gastronomy), a short walk from the boulangerie and bus to Cannes (15 min journey to centre). The Valmasque forest and the lovely Fontmerle Etang can be accessed via a hiking trail along the Canal de la Siagne, directly from the house.

It has a maximum occupancy of 8-10 (plus babies, children over the age of 5 please) and would be perfect for a large family gathering or group of friends (but no organised parties please).

Local boulangerie and restaurant can be found within 5 to 10 mins walk, with others just 5 mins by car in the beautiful old town of Mougins. For supermarkets, 5 mins drive away you’ll find a Carrefour Market, Grand Frais, Super U and within 10 mins a Monoprix. For even more choice it’s a 15 min drive down to Cannes.

Local markets are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Mouans-Sartoux, Friday morning in Valbonne, and every day Cannes Marche Forville! They offer an amazing array of olives, flowers and fresh local produce.

Sporting activities in the area are abundant – there are tennis courts in Mougins (5 mins drive) and Paddle Ball courts at Tournamy, Mougins. For swimming Nautipolis Swimming and Fitness Center is just 15 mins away in Sophia Antipolis. For tennis the famous Mouratoglou Professional Tennis and Fitness centre is 15 mins at Sophia Antipolis. A variety of golf courses are 10 min to 30 mins away - Mouans Sartoux St Donat, Mougins , Opio, Mandelieu and Biot. There's a variety of indoor activities for children and a fitness centre Mougins Acti Park. In addition on the coast there's sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading to name but a few! You’re also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular. In addition the Estérel mountains for hiking and breathtaking views.

Beaches can be found just 15 mins drive away in Cannes, and across the sandy bay to La Napoule and Theoule.

The ski stations of Greoliere, Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are between 1- and 2-hour’s drive if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!

Getting around is very easy from here. It’s a 5 min walk to the bus stop ‘Qui vend bon’ where you’ll find buses direct to Cannes, Valbonne, Mouans Sartoux and Mougins village. The train station to Grasse, Cannes, Antibes and Nice can be found at Mouans Sartoux.

Sightseeing is endless; Mougins Village - an artist’s hub and famous for its excellent restaurants; the perched village of Gourdon has amazing views, St Paul de Vence is a famous tourist spot, we love the charming village of Biot, and more inland there's Le Bar-sur-Loup, Grasse and Valbonne,. You have the famous town of Cannes with its restaurants and yachts in the Port, a stroll along the seafront Croisette and the views and restaurants of the old town Le Suquet. If you have time it’s also possible to cross the border to experience the flavour of Italy!

Other entertainment includes shopping, the casinos & nightlife of Cannes, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides, or just good old relaxing on the beach!
