Valbonne is a beautiful and authentic Provençal village, very animated with its festivities, its very good restaurants and its Provençal market with its vegetables, fruits as well as its delicious products of the soil (cheeses, olives, oil ...)
The location is great for a family, with outdoor games like ping pong, badminton, and trampoline.
Inside board games, Wifi access, Netflix and international channels.
All this 15 minutes from Cannes beaches, Antibes, 25 minutes from Nice, and about 40 minutes from Monaco.

- "The villa was very quiet and only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Valbonne. There are a number of nice restaurants in the centre of Valbonne and Mougins is only a 10 minute drive away, if you have a car or call a taxi. There were just two of us staying at the villa which is large and can easily accommodate six people. The outside space is very nice and gets the sun all day. The kitchen is well equipped although we didn’t do any cooking! For people who like to barbecue there was a comprehensive barbecue. We had driven to the South of France and the electronic gates provided security for the car, as well as there was ample parking. The pool was very nice albeit I found it a bit cold. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend the villa."

Our villa is situated in a quiet private domain of 5 villas. Entry is via a private gated domain to 5 villas ensuring security for all, that leads to separate entrances for each property. It has a light and airy feel, due to the high ceiling throughout the main living area comprising open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. It was completely refurbished in 2014 /5 and has air conditioning / heating throughout. The outside of the property has a private heated pool 8m by 4m and parking for two cars. The grounds have been completely re landscaped and were completed in December 2015.
Enjoy the unspoiled views of the mountains, whilst relaxing on the patio area at the top of the garden, or relax around the pool in the south facing garden. There is a covered outdoor dining area for 8 people, with a large Outback Gas barbecue.
The house has a south orientation.
The house is a 10 minute walk into Valbonne,a beautiful Provence village which has a wonderful square of restaurants and shops. You can walk across the countryside ( map provided in Villa) or along well lit pavements.
There are 3 main car parks in Valbonne all within a short walk to the main square.
Valbonne has a number of shops including an exquisite butcher,greengrocers, delicatessen and a number of patisseries and bakeries.
Valbonne is a 25 minutes’ drive to Nice Airport, a 20 minute drive to the beaches of Cannes, Antibes, and Juan les Pins.
It is a 5 minutes’ drive to many golf courses.
The villa sleeps six. In two of the bedrooms we have two single beds each, you can join these together to make a large King if you wish.
The property is suitable for children over 5 years of age, and others that are supervised at all times around a pool, and in the garden which has a raised area.
The pool is normally available between May and September.

Situated just a short walk to Valbonne village, this beautiful villa is set in lush Provencal gardens with a secluded pool.

The villa has a large open plan living and dining room, with direct access to a terrace and cosy covered courtyard. It boasts plenty of original features, with chimneys inside and out, as well as Provencal stone walls.

In the well-manicured garden you'll find many sunny terraces as well as a large outdoor kitchen containing gas bbq, sideburner, fridge and decked seating area. There is also a heated swimming-pool and a boules court surrounded with plenty of Provencal plants and olive-trees. The garden is predominately flat and boasts incredible views of the mountains in the distance.

The entrance to the property is gated, providing secure and covered parking. Although close to the village it is incredibly quiet and peaceful.

Inside the villa, there are 3 bedrooms and a bunk bed room for 2 people; 2 of the bedrooms have ensuites and there is an additional shower room. There is also a toilet and shower located next to the swimming pool. On the spacious landing of the master bedroom there is also a double sofa-bed to easily accommodate extra guests. On the spacious landing of the master bedroom there is a study space with a desk and sofa to either work or unwind, away from the rest of the house. To easily accommodate extra guests, one of the sofas in the sitting room can be turned into a large double bed.

For added flexibility, the second bedroom's kingsize bed can easily be split into two twin beds with headboards.

The top-spec kitchen is well equipped with an electric AGA containing gas hobs, skillet and electric oven compartments. To the rear of the kitchen is a light and airy breakfast room with TV. Outside the kitchen, you will find a covered summer kitchen, complete with a large coal BBQ. Close to the BBQ is a comfortable outside sofa and dining area, which is lit by two large chandeliers and perfect for large group dinners.

At the back of the house, you'll find the master bedroom, king/twin bedroom and also the landing area. In the sitting room there is a snug lounge area, with two 3-seater sofas and 2 comfy arm chairs. There's a 32" widescreen internet TV and a DVD player. You'll find a good selection of DVD's to use for all age-ranges. Also in the sitting room is a dining area, with a table that can extend to seat up to 12 people.

The stunning master bedroom, accessible from both outside and inside (via an internal oak staircase) has a spacious ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower, bath, twin-sinks. Attached to the master is a room with two integrated bunk beds and wardrobes, perfect for children. You can use the patio at the back of the master bedroom to read and relax and the two sets of patio doors allow you to open straight onto the pool area.

The pool is heated and secured with an alarm which conforms to the latest French security requirements. The sun-trapped position of the pool means it's an idea spot for sunbathing throughout summer. It sits hidden below well-manicured shrubbery and has four sun loungers beside it. If you wish to stay out of the sun there is a parasol covered lounging area on the opposite side and another covered patio area outside the master bedroom.

The property also has fully-integrated air conditioning, with separate controls in every room.

In addition to the outside dining and BBQ areas, there is a small sun terrace nestled above the swimming pool, surrounded by ivy and accessible from both inside and outside. On the terrace is a four person dining table with parasol. This vantage point provides great mountain views in the distance.

Valbonne village is located within easy reach of all local attractions; just 25 minutes to Nice Cote-D'Azur Airport, 20 minutes to the nearest beaches and within reach of the first slopes of the southern alps. The village itself is famous for its lively restaurants, great shops, boutiques and deli’s. Being such a short walk from the main square, the property allows you to relax and enjoy the local lifestyle without the need to drive anywhere if you so wish. That said, when you do wish to venture out the house is close to something for everyone; walks, beaches, shopping, lakes, fishing and so on.

When you arrive at the Villa you will be greeted by our host, who will walk you through everything you need to know and provide a contact point throughout your stay. If you decide to take the villa for a two week or longer period, the linens will be changed on a weekly basis, with a cleaning service also provided. Pool heating is included within the booking price for the summer months June, July, August and September.

This recently built south -oriented villa with air-conditioning is nevertheless completely quiet, has a totally secluded garden with a private , heated pool and offers charming views over the village and hills. Very sunny property, garden and pool enjoy sun all day as facing south.

The villa itself is light and spacious. The sitting room has high ceilings and an original Louis XIII fireplace from a French chateau in Burgundy, stone floor tiles, antique furniture, hand painted ceramics in the bathrooms and an open access to the dining room. All four double-size bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, two are located on the upper floor; all four bedrooms as well as the dining and sitting room have air-conditioning. Except for two sleeping rooms on the upper floor, all other rooms and the kitchen are only on one level with the entrance door of the house , also on one level with the two patios outside. - "We found the property by chance on VRBO few years ago and have been back twice since and will be returning with our 4&6 year old kids again this July! We have come to think of it as our French home away from home. The house is beautifully located and the interior and exterior space makes for a fabulous family vacation. The pool on the lower terrace gives enough separation that you can keep the kids safely away and the pool alarm adds that extra level of comfort. The owners continue to maintain and upgrade the property well and the new BBQ area on the terrace gets used daily for those lunch and evening meals overlooking the valley. The short stroll to town is easy and avoids having to worry about cars and parking, although a glass or two of Provence wine helps with the walk back up the hill afterwards which could be a challenge for those less mobile. Most hire cars will fit up the lane to the house (we had a Volvo C90 last year and were fine) but if you have a very large people carrier it can get a little narrow to maneuver round the corner at the bottom. Our recently refurbished detached house is situated in a quiet residential area just a few minutes’ walk from the charming Provençal village of Valbonne on the French Riviera. It is conveniently situated 20 minutes’ drive from Nice airport, and only 15 minutes from the sandy beaches of Antibes and Cannes.

A lovely entrance porch welcomes you, and leads you to a fully fitted kitchen opening onto a dining/living area.
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas cooker, electric oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and an extensive variety of kitchen utensils. Next to the kitchen there is a laundry room with washing machine and a large fridge with freezer.

The location of this villa is perfect for touring and exploring the local area. Valbonne village (less than 10 min walk) has many lovely shops and restaurants and there is a weekly Farmer's Market on Friday morning from 9am to 1pm. The historic village of Biot is situated 10 minutes’ drive. It is known for its glass blowing. In this area you can find Marineland, the biggest aquapark in France. Many Golf courses are only 5 to 15 minutes’ drive away (such as Valbonne, Biot, Cannes, Mougins, Sophia Antipolis, Le Rouret, Opio, Grasse...). Several forest and river trails are all within walking distance from the house.

Please note that young children will need constant supervision around the pool and patio area.

Our villa, completed in 2023, has been designed to allow you to spend an excellent holiday in the immediate vicinity of the charming Provencal village of Valbonne.

The location, first of all: the municipality of Valbonne enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Nice, Cannes and Grasse where you can find the most beautiful golf courses, the most popular towns and seaside resorts; as well as the most beautiful villages of the French Riviera.
You can thus choose to relax in the garden by enjoying the swimming pool, to discover the picturesque villages of the region (Mougins, Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon...), to enjoy a shopping trip in Cannes or Nice; or to enjoy the beaches and the sea with quick access to the entire coast, especially Juan-les-Pins, Antibes, Cannes or even Mandelieu and Théoule.
