Villa La Mignonne is situated in one of the most exclusive areas in the world: the cape of St Jean Cap Ferrat. The house is a stone's throw away from the marina in St Jean, a two minute walk from the breathtaking Paloma Beach and on the doorstep of stunning walks around the cape. We are less than 100 meters up the road from the luxurious Hotel La Voile d’Or.

La Mignonne is a fully detached house (68m2) with a paved garden (46m2) raised above the road. The garden has an outdoor shower for when you return from the beach or just for cooling off. The garden has recently been re-tiled with marvellous travertine limestone.

There are two double bedrooms upstairs and both have French doors which open directly onto the balcony (7m2). All the rooms are bright, airy and air-conditioned. The house has recently been refurbished throughout including new bathrooms, a new kitchen and new furniture. There is also a dedicated wifi connection.

The ground floor (34m2) has an open plan kitchen living and dining room that opens out directly into the garden. This floor also has a cloakroom with a toilet and a washing machine.

Upstairs (a further 34m2) there are two identically outfitted double bedrooms, a large built-in wardrobe and a bathroom with an Italian shower. The bedrooms each have large French doors opening onto a balcony (7m2) with views towards Beaulieu sur Mer, the hilltop village of Eze and Monaco.

The pool is small and also somewhat difficult to get in and out of due to an awkward slope to the bottom and limited access. All said, however, we would rent the property again."

As a heads up - the property does have air conditioning but only in three of the bedrooms. This didn't cause a problem for us as the weather wasn't too hot while we were there but it's something to be aware of. The pool has an automatic cover which is great for other parties with small children. It and the patio provides a wonderful, private place to relax. We would absolutely stay again. One other word of notification though - if you plan to be working just be aware that the internet connections are not terribly high speed. We often had significantly higher speeds tethering mobile devices than on the house Wifi. Hopefully that's not too much of a concern as this is a perfect place to disconnect and unwind. I would absolutely visit again!"

La Maison du Cap is located in the cape part of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, 30 minutes away from Monaco and 40 minutes away from Nice airport.

La Maison du Cap was originally built in the 1960's. It has just been renovated, but it has kept its original charm. The house is set on a multiple-level-two-acre plot with an infinity pool. There are three garages but only one is available for use.

This is the ideal vacation house for a couple and a few kids. Or even two couples and kids. It is fully equipped: full kitchen, washer/dryer, business corner with printer, BBQ grill, 65" TV, all the channels you can think off, Internet, etc...

The house features a total four bedrooms: a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom; two other large size bedrooms with a shared bathroom; and a fourth bedroom, away from the other three, with its own ensuite bathroom.

There are two large living rooms and a kitchen/dining area.

The outside patio/terrace all around the house is ideal for grilling out and hosting guests.

The location is very quiet and the many trees on the property provide plenty privacy from the surrounding houses.

The village is ten minute walk away.
