It’s all about the setting at our beautiful stunning sea front villa which has a fantastic sea view and is surrounded by open countryside. Impressive views come as standard here. When you want to hide away though, this villa makes the perfect retreat. The villa has been designed to make the most of the views. For starters, the balcony offers up sweeping views over the sea and the surrounding rugged mountains. And as far as the rest of the outside, it’s all set up for relaxation. It’s painted in a bright Mediterranean colour and comes with its own private pool which takes pride of place. There are also plenty of sun loungers and chairs for relaxing and lots of pool toys for a spot of fun! Everyone can sit in a generously well designed garden which is surrounded by a wall around the villa for complete privacy so you can sunbathe and dine in the garden area where you can also enjoy a barbeque in blissful seclusion. There is also a large terrace area upstairs on the first floor for total relaxation, admiring the sea view or watching the sun go down or star gazing in the evenings.

Inside the villa is just as pleasing. Crisp whitewashed walls keep everything fresh and light along with cool tiled marble floors are the mainstays. The ground floor has an open-plan design with a large lounge and dining room, meanwhile is decked out with contemporary furnishings, including comfortable sofas and a chic dining table. There’s also a TV, with Netflix & latest Movies & Sports on a Amazon Fire stick, a separate DVD player and in the fully fitted kitchen, thoughtful touches like a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is also a dining table set up for six. Everything’s rounded off with three light and airy bedrooms all of which have air-conditioning and two bathrooms, one of which is an en-suite.

The main bedroom upstairs & double bedroom on the ground floor have an additional TV mounted on the wall to watch DVDs or Netflix ( via a firestick )

Villa Moonlight has a unique feature of being a new Villa on the beach and has a total of 7 bedrooms. The villa has a lovely front garden with colourful, scented flowers and jasmine trees. At the rear of the villa, there is large family terrace with an infinity pool, overlooking the beach/sea. There is a Pergola with dining tables and chairs, together with an authentic stone barbecue. There are bench seating areas, plenty of sun beds (with individual sun umbrellas), a swing chair, outdoor coffee table and chairs and an outdoor sofa group. Our home can be tailored and adapted towards each booking giving the flexibility to add as many rooms according to our guest's needs. It is perfectly located and only 8 minutes away (walking distance) from the bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Villa Moonlight is furnished to a luxury and high standard complete with all mod cons and versatile that can be adapted to suit different group sizes and guest's needs on request. (Please note that the house has 5 bedrooms but there are two extra bedrooms, lounge and kitchen for larger group sizes). Please check with the owner if you need the extra space for your group size. The Villa is on the main road to Karpaz peninsula. The back of villa sits on it's own beach which is very peaceful and calming. So, the villa is perfect for relaxation. The famous karate tortoises leave their eggs in the sand, on the beach, at the back of the villa, in the month of May. The villa also has a caretaker in a separate flat, he can help with any queries and if there are any problems, can fix quickly.

- "We have just returned home following a 2 week stay at the wonderful Moonlight Villa. As a large party which consisted of 3 families - 6 adults, 3 teenagers, & 6 children the accommodation within the villa & its modern layout was superb & suited our requirements perfectly. The properties appearance inside & out was well maintained & all areas were clean & presented beautifully. The abundance of bathrooms & bedrooms with air conditioning was a huge benefit. The kitchen was very well equip with utensils etc and living area had plenty of seating. The patio & pool area was brilliant & well facilitated with sun beds a huge outdoor dining area & BBQ. The sea view from poolside was idilic & having what seemed like your own private beach was a real bonus. From start to finish the owner of the villa, Kemal, was extremely kind & helpful. Having flown into Larnaca & hired cars from the airport, Kemal was extremely courteous & met us in order to show us the way to the villa (just over an hours drive) and also did the same on our return trip. Throughout our stay Kemal stayed in contact & visited briefly to ensure we were all ok & provided us with some local knowledge of places to visit & eat. He was an extremely friendly & helpful Gent who wanted to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The local supermarket was a stones throw away, bakery, butchers & petrol stations were all within close vicinity. We came across The Hilltop Bar (less than 10 mins drive away) the second week & enjoyed such a delicious steak meal there (in fact the best we have eaten) we returned for our last meal. The helpful staff, atmosphere & entertainment was tremendous - well worth a visit. The benefit of having a vehicle meant we could visit a number of great places such as Famagusta (ghost town), Agia Napa, Nissi Beach, Paralimni & Protaras all no more than just over an hours drive away. All places would recommend you visit during a stay. Having enjoyed an amazing holiday with family & great friends we would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone looking to holiday in North Cyprus. The local sandy beaches, part of Famagusta Bay are accessed a short distance away along the coast by car where the Local Authority have created car parking and landscaped areas. Throughout the whole year it is possible to experience the beauty of this Mediterranean country. In this idyllic location it is possible for one to enjoy local life within the beautiful tranquil surroundings. The area around Salamis is rich in culture with the Salamis Ruins being a very popular tourist attraction situated a few minutes drive from the villa. Whilst most tourists flock to Kyrenia with its picture postcard harbour the area has seen considerable development in recent years whilst Famagusta and Salamis offers a much quieter relaxed environment.

Not quite warm enough in November to use the pool, though it looked very inviting. The villa is a comfortable base for visiting the eastern side of North Cyprus, with both Famagusta and Iskele a short drive away. (A car is definitely recommended for North Cyprus) The more developed northern shore is under an hour away by car. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and beaches are a 5-10 minute drive. All the restaurants we ate in were great, but if you want a real local experience, we'd recommend Mertekli Meyhane in Mutluyaka, and have the fixed menu (Warning - go when you're VERY hungry!). Also don't miss Petek Patisserie in Famagusta Old Town (and a local branch in Iskele) There are plenty of other recommendations in the visitors book, you won't be short of places to see or eat. Jackie who looks after the villa is also very helpful. A great stay - thank you! P.S. if you drive out to the Karpas peninsula, you'll need carrots or some other vegetable/fruit to "pay" for access to the road past the monastery - you'll find out why!"

VILLA & COMPLEX:
The villa is situated on a complex in Bahçeli, which benefits from having a beautiful bay on its doorstep and the use of 4 pools (inc. 25m Semi-Olympic size & kids pool), a gymnasium, a tennis court and a beautiful pool side Bistro/restaurant/bar.
The villa has airy living space giving a truly Mediterranean feel.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine & Tumble dryer. Outside has a spacious furnished 1st floor balcony and a terrace under a wooden shaded pergola equipped with basic coal BBQ for alfresco dining. The villa also benefits having a 43-inch Smart TV, the option to include internet (*see notes on internet & TV packages) with some games & controllers.
As well as landscaped grounds with many palms and colourful plants, you'll have a daily visit form the ice cream van (seasonal). There was the beautiful poolside Bistro Rest/Bar, but this has now closed and is no longer a restaurant. However a new Restaurant/Bar has opened on the neighbouring complex (that uses our entrance to access their site) also has lovely poolside seating and is actually closer to our villa than the restaurant that has now closed, with a walking distance of 1 minute. So this is why I have still kept the on site Restaurant listed in the header as being on site. This is a very popular restaurant and is an added bonus for the owners and guests.

Only minutes away you have the lovely Esentepe, a traditional Cypriot Village with its local shops, supermarkets, restaurants & bars. 10 mins drive is the Korineum 18-hole international championship golf, spa & country club with its private beach. Less than 30 mins drive is the bustling picturesque harbour and town of Kyrenia with its many lively bars, restaurants and shopping with many attractions, traditional villages and more beautiful beaches on route. UTILITIES* :
Electricity of 210 units per weeks stay is included in the rental price. This will provide all power necessary for lighting/fans/T.V/dishwasher/fridge etc and aprox 4-6 hours daily of air-con/heating. Should you exceed this amount, we have additional electric top-up cards to purchase. The K/w unit rate will be between 0.15p-0.45p depending on the KW's used over the included amount, as rates are calculated in 4 tier groups. *Only applies to holiday lets. Pls enquiry on Utilities info for longer lets.

SAT & SUN ARRIVALS:
Our cleaning team (along with most) now charge an additional fee of £40 for working Saturdays (which gets splits between the team). They also do not work Sundays. Therefore, preparations for Sunday arrivals would also be carried out on a Saturday which would also incur the extra charge. Vrbo system can not automatically add this to the estimate generated, so this fee will be added onto the booking manually once I have checked your day of arrival. I will always try to prevent this extra fee by requesting the arrival preparations be carried out on the Friday nearer the time of your arrival, but unfortunately no guarantees as this will depend on how busy their roster is at the time and whether we have a new booking which vacates back-to-back booking prior to your arrival or any other unforeseen circumstances. I do not receive the bill until about 3 days after you vacate. A refund would be made for the extra charge if my earlier requests were met.

POPULAR SPECIAL INTEREST VISITS:
Visits to the historical 3 crusader castles - St Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara. All perched breathtakingly high above the towns and villages of North Cyprus, together with the 12th century Monastery in Bellapais, and not forgetting Kyrenia castle in the harbour which also houses a museum for the world's oldest shipwreck dating back to 300 B.C.

Aligadi beach with its World-Famous turtle project. You can see the turtles lay their eggs mid May-Aug time and Aug/Sept is when you can see the hatching and visitors can help guide the hatchlings towards the sea.

Other activities/interests all within 45 min drive include (depending on season & weather) boat trips, fishing trips, canoeing, go carting, Zip wire, paint ball and many guided tours & walks, including wine tasting...Just too many to list.

COAST/BEACH:
Although the complex has its own natural bay, there are many more beautiful beaches to visit all within an easy drive. Escape, Shayna, Chamarda, Acapulco, Elexus, Aligadi, Korenium, Tatlisu, Kaplica and the Kapaz Gate Marina to name a few (many more) but for a truly spectacular beach day is a visit to the Karpaz panhandle. A 1-2 hour drive (depending on route) sometimes without seeing another car, only villages seemingly frozen in time, deserted beaches and donkeys roaming freely on route.

At low tide you can walk around to the next bay however footwear is required due to the rocks.For those who are more confident in the water the med is accessible for a swim here, not for the faint hearted though!The pool was quiet and as described we did, the majority of the time have it to ourselves, it has a good sized area for little ones about 0.7m deep. The house is located approximately 1.5km from the main road where you will find numerous restaurants and bars. Our favourite was Yeaman fab meze, relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful place to watch sunset. Easy booking system, quick response from owner and whilst at property and prior to our trip the couple who look after the property were available with help and advice if we needed it. They were very personable. All in all a delightful holiday. Car essential though. We had a great time 😎"

The beautiful villa has a wonderful view of the sea and the so-called "five-finger" mountains. Has 4 bedrooms (2 rooms have 1 double bed each and 2 rooms have two single beds), 2 bathrooms (one on each floor), a large kitchen with high-quality furnishings and a large living room with a pull-out couch, Smart LED TV, WIFI internet and 2 dining tables for 6 people each. All rooms have their own small balcony and are equipped with remote-controlled air conditioning. The living room is also equipped with a large air conditioning system and even has a beautiful, large granite fireplace. The two shaded pergola terraces offer a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains. (Ground floor - terrace: 75m², upper floor - terrace: 15m²). Among other things, the villa has a private pool with 6 sun loungers and indoor and outdoor lighting, so the pool can be used at any time. A well-tended Mediterranean garden surrounds the villa and is decorated with carob and tartan trees, palm trees, Chinese roses and many other plants. The garden also has a barbecue grill and garden chairs.

There are several bars and restaurants in the area surrounding the villa. Approximately 300 meters to the right and left of the villa there is a cafebar black hour or cafe / restaurant coconut. Nearby restaurants are around 700 meters away, such as 'Emiley's Bar & Restaurants' with live music or an Indian restaurant. Within 3 kilometers there are many more restaurants, bars with some live music.

It is located in a small, quiet, well-maintained settlement a few minutes’ walk from a lovely sand beach with umbrellas, chairs, and a tiki bar. The swimming pools are great and not crowded at all. If the amount of time and effort devoted to the garden and pool was afforded to the villa then it would be as Carrington describe it. Unfortunately whilst we were there we mentioned that the air conditioning was not working efficiently, door handles were falling off (one of which did and we had to repair it ourselves) light fitting in one of the en-suites was not working and was therefore pitch black in the middle of the night. All of these concerns were mentioned to the Carrington representative on day 1 of our stay but then during the rest of our stay, not only was nothing done about the items we mentioned but we did not have any more contact with Carrington until our taxi arrived. The taxi driver was probably the rudest man we have ever encountered in our 5 visits to Northern Cyprus. He stood and watched my husband struggle up a flight of stairs with four suitcases without so much as an offer to help, on the return journey it was the gardener who carried each of our suitcases across the garden to the waiting taxi driver. It was only when he wanted paying at Larnaca airport that he actually spoke to us!! According to the villa description "The villa is cleaned before your stay. (a mid-stay change of bedlinen is provided for bookings of 2 weeks or more, otherwise there will be an additional cost.)" We did not receive any new bed linen or towels - we washed these ourselves. We used the downstairs bedrooms, the double bed was really poor, it was very uncomfortable, the mattress has collapsed on one side and the bed frame squeaked and creaked at the merest of movement causing you to wake up throughout the night. Our daughters had a similar experience with both the single beds in the twin room next door. Both of them also returned with suspicious rashes down their torso and legs which would suggest both mattresses need replacing! Despite the aforementioned service and disappointment with parts of the villa. We did enjoy our stay, mainly due to the fact that we spent most of our time enjoying the grounds and swimming pool and our visits from the friendly, hard working gardener!"

Situated opposite the most beautiful stretch of beaches on Cyprus we are opposite a beautiful golden sandy beach with crystal blue waters.
Plus the water park and casino are a 1 Minute drive away.

Guest access:
You will have access to all of the living spaces. There are certain cupboards that are locked as it has our personal belongings in there and there is no access to the garage.
We would greatly appreciate it if you don't attempt to open these locked cupboards. Please don't attempt to open these cupboard with the locks as damages will be charged thank you.

Other things to note:
We have 4 external active security cameras that actively detect and record external noise. None of these pick up any noise/image from the internal living space of the property.
2 of the cameras are at the front of the house facing towards to road one is on the side facing towards the rear garden.
Last one is in the rear garden.
They are there for the security of the property when the property is unoccupied. Any questions in regards to this please get in touch.

There is an access to two huge terraces taking advantage of the amazing views over the costal line. Each bedroom has air conditioning units and fitted wardrobes.There is a spacious living & dining area which has been completed with coving and spotlights. From the living area is access to a front terrace area, overlooking the beautiful pool and garden area and offers fantastic views to the sea and mountains. Automatic roller blinds with lights can cover the terrace area. We would like to emphasize that our holiday villa strictly upholds a No Smoking and No Pets policy.
