- "This unit is beautifully decorated, very clean and everything inside looks newly renovated. The communication was quick when I had questions. AC, appliances and TV with lots of channels made our stay great. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of parking and access to all fun activities in Salem is no more than a 10 minute drive. Dane Beach was a quick 2 block walk and was quite beautiful, complete with bathrooms, benches and a shaded picnic area but unfortunately swimming was prohibited due to a bacteria situation. We absolutely loved our stay at 55 Hale Street!!"

This seaside cottage is located on Lothrop Street at Independence Park & Beach on Beverly Harbor, which the Boston Globe selected as one of the ‘20 Best Streets in Boston and Beyond’ in 2012. You will be instantly captivated by the waterfront activity just steps from the front door...sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, wind surfing, fishing, boating and sailing. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and one level living so there are no stairs inside the apartment and only a few at the front of the building in order to get to the apartment. Guests should also know that this is a part of a 2 family building so there is 1 other apartment located above this apartment. That apartment is also an Airbnb.

When you get through the apartment door you immediately walk into the living room where there will be a couch, sofa chair, smart tv and work desk.

Off of the living room is 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is off of the kitchen. Both bedrooms have king size memory foam mattreses. In all my properties I use the same mattresses and they are what I get the most positive feedback on. Everyone says they’re comfortable! Both bedrooms have closets with clothing storage. The 2nd bedroom off the kitchen has a sliding door that leads to the back deck.

The kitchen has all appliances necessary for anything you need to do in the kitchen. It will also be fully stocked with all the supplies you need.

The full bathroom is off the kitchen. It’s a small bathroom and nothing fancy but if you aren’t picky then it absolutely gets the job done. It has 1 sink, shower/tub combo and toilet.

The back deck is exclusive to you the guest and will have outdoor furniture where you can relax or eat dinner. There are water views from the back deck. There are other houses around so they may not be the best water views but you can still see the water.

As I stated in the main description guests please know that this apartment is in an older apartment and is nothing fancy. If you’re picky or expecting luxury I want to be as upfront as possible and let you know that this is not the place for you. For everyone else I’d like to say that even though it is nothing fancy it absolutely can provide a quality functional stay

- "Nothing about this apartment was comfortable the kitchen had no pots or pans for cooking, no table and chairs to eat, the bed/mattress was uncomfortable,bedding smelled of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the blanket, blinds were broken, restroom tiles were cracked, shower curtain smelled of cigarettes , a train close by made a lot of noise all through the night, no access to the Wi-Fi only had password but not name. However, restaurants nearby were very good Greg’s Tavern Joe’s Pizza and crave, this place was not aesthetically pleasing over all :("

A great location central to the North Shore. Whether it's a wedding, graduation, vacation or business stay. You'll love this unfussy, comfortable and spacious second floor apartment on a quiet side street off of downtown Beverly.
It features three bedrooms; one with a queen bed, one with a pair of twin beds and one with a single twin bed. A big kitchen with a table for six. A large living room. There is a small spare room that works for office or storage too. Outside features a sitting area with tables and chairs and off street parking for two cars. You even have room to stash a bike or kayak. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.
Walk to a vibrant downtown with excellent food and shops. Stroll five minutes to the train depot with access to Salem, Boston or Cape Ann. Skip the train and walk across the bridge to Salem, it's about a mile away. Enjoy beaches along the harbor, breweries, coffee shops, all kinds of food, eclectic shops, even a concert hall/movie theater less than a 15 minute walk away.
Or... Take a drive along the north shore, enjoy the views and discover all the "gold coast" has to offer. We have a note book with suggested drives, parks and points of interest all over the area

We are convenient to routes 128, 95. and about 20 minutes from 93.

Beverly is a fun foodie town with a lot of interesting restaurants, coffee shops, etc. from Italian to Thai to Indian, sushi, burgers, seafood, vegan, even an Irish pub and more! It's all within a walk of the apartment.
The train depot is just a five minute walk down the street- go to Boston or Salem or travel north to Gloucester, Rockport or Newburyport, you can bring a bike on the trains. We can clue you into some great spots off the beaten path. Whatever your interest, you will find something here, art, architecture, boats, beaches, history and more. (did I mention food?)
There is a movie theater and concert hall, ceramic and pottery studio, beaches with paddle board and kayak rentals, yoga studios, a beautiful public library, great parks and playgrounds and museums all within a ten minute walk. There is something for the whole family.
Beverly is a hidden gem. It's a diverse and interesting town with a great history, and close enough for Salem visitors to easily access but without the touristy stuff.. People are surprised because they don't know the town but it makes a great vacation spot.

The entire North Shore of Massachusetts is a gem. Known for years as the Gold Coast, this area from Cape Ann to Boston boasts glorious coast line, architecture, art- from galleries to world class museums, whale watching, schooner trips, booze cruises and some of the best food ever! The beaches are outstanding - from what we call the pocket beach on the harbor (just down the street) to Gloucester's fabulous Wingarsheek ( we can tell you a back way to get there with outstanding vistas)
And there is something fun at every time of year!

- "Last minute booking. Easy to get in , good parking, great neighborhood, very walkable. Booking was older home (which we love) but very comfortable. " - "The location was great as was the amenities. Clean and comfortable. Lots of room for just the 2 of us. " - "We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Starting with the positives. There was plenty of space for four or even five guests. All the linens were clean and we had plenty of towels and wash cloths. The train was a short walk away and we were able to get to Salem and Boston easily. We had some trouble with receiving our code but the property manager quickly cleared that up. Now, the not so great aspects. The biggest issue for us was safety. I knew this was a second story apartment but I didn't realize it was duplex with a shared door code for the main two entries. Personally I was uncomfortable with this, the downstairs guest left the door open a few times as well. Our two apartment doors did have separate locks with a key. However, both apartment doors only had the singular lock no deadbolt or even a chain lock for extra security. Cleanliness wise there were only minor issues. Many of the corners especially in one of the closets had cobwebs/dust. The celling above the shower had some discoloration that possibly looked like mold. Some unnecessary clutter in the extra room could be cleared to make the space more appealing/useable. The beds were a little on the firmer side. I think with some minor improvements this apartment could go from good to great."

Just off downtown on a quiet side street with off street parking. Explore Salem, the north shore and beyond from this central location. Walk to the train depot with trains to Boston, Cape Ann or Newburyport. Walk to a vibrant downtown with a great food scene, breweries, cafes, Indian, Thai, Italian, an Irish pub, seafood and more! A concert hall, comedy club, movie theater, parks, beaches, waterfront all within a ten minute stroll. A short drive to rt 128, 93 and 95. Washer and dryer is available in the basement and is shared with other guests.
The space
Fun in any season and location is everything! This spacious, first floor apartment is convenient to a vibrant downtown and perfect for family activities.
In the warm weather you'll find plenty of room to stash your bike or kayak and relax at the table outside. I include beach towels and chairs. The beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
This four bedroom apartment has 2 larger bedrooms with queen beds and 2 smaller bedrooms with twin beds. It has everything you need for a great stay. Fully furnished, large kitchen, wifi, smart tv, washer and dryer in basement- off street
parking and an outdoor sitting area. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Just off downtown Beverly on a quiet side street, walk to restaurants, beaches, museums, funky coffee shops and galleries and just a stones throw to Salem. With graduations, halloween festivities and all the events happening around the north shore and Salem area- it's almost impossible to find an affordable room let alone a place for a family! With this affordable apartment the whole family will have room to relax and privacy.

Once you check out the north of Boston and our "Gold Coast" you will be enchanted! History, art, music, maritime activities, beaches, boats, architecture, ethnic foods from Italian to Indian, Thai, Mexican and more, Unbelievably delicious seafood! Great hiking areas to walk it all off! We are also becoming quite a bicycle hub. My place will be an excellent home port for your stay!
College parents love this place. Endicott, Gordon, Montserratt, Merrimac, Salem State and Landmark school too. They like it because the kids can stay with them if they want. You can have a family dinner. You also can have some space.

You can get around pretty easily without a car. Tons of Uber, public transportation and downtown location make it easy. There is off street parking for two cars. Beach chairs, towels and a cooler are also available. There is an umbrella table and chairs for sitting outside.
Other things to note
AC's are in windows of two larger bedrooms and the Living room. The smaller Bedrooms have fans.
No smoking or vaping indoors or parties.

A gas grill and a small fire pit are for your use! There are herbs growing in the front garden that you can help yourself to!

The space
The apartment is on the first floor of the building and one level living so there are no stairs inside the apartment and only a few at the front of the building in order to get to the apartment. Guests should also know that this is a part of a 2 family building so there is 1 other apartment located above this apartment. That apartment is also an Airbnb.

When you get through the apartment door you immediately walk into the living room where there will be a couch, sofa chair, smart tv and work desk.

Off of the living room is 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is off of the kitchen. Both bedrooms have king size memory foam mattreses. In all my properties I use the same mattresses and they are what I get the most positive feedback on. Everyone says they’re comfortable! Both bedrooms have closets with clothing storage. The 2nd bedroom off the kitchen has a sliding door that leads to the back deck.

The kitchen has all appliances necessary for anything you need to do in the kitchen. It will also be fully stocked with all the supplies you need.

The full bathroom is off the kitchen. It’s a small bathroom and nothing fancy but if you aren’t picky then it absolutely gets the job done. It has 1 sink, shower/tub combo and toilet.

The back deck is exclusive to you the guest and will have outdoor furniture where you can relax or eat dinner. There are water views from the back deck. There are other houses around so they may not be the best water views but you can still see the water.

As I stated in the main description guests please know that this apartment is in an older apartment and is nothing fancy. If you’re picky or expecting luxury I want to be as upfront as possible and let you know that this is not the place for you. For everyone else I’d like to say that even though it is nothing fancy it absolutely can provide a quality functional stay

Dane Street beach is 2 blocks away, and several downtown shops, restaurants, and the Cabot Theater are all just a 5-10 minute walk. Historic Salem is 10 minutes by car or catch the commuter rail to Boston. You will have access to a full kitchen including a coffee/tea bar. Guests can easily access secure WiFi and work remotely, or just take a few days to relax and unwind.

Our property is a clean and completely renovated 1-bedroom first-floor apartment with a private entrance located within walking distance to Dane Street Beach and Independence Park. The unit has a cozy living room, a spacious well-lit bedroom with a queen-sized bed (and access to a desk and reading chair), a new bathroom with a rain-shower, and a full-kitchen with a coffee/tea bar.

We've made sure each room has the basics to ensure you have a fun and easy stay. Guests can use the smart TV, or enjoy a selection of books, games or puzzles. We hope you will be able to visit some of the beautiful parks that are close by. We have a yoga mat in the unit for outdoor use if you like sunrise/sunset yoga, and to-go coffee/tea cups so you bring your morning cup with you as you stroll to the beach. For summer guests, we provide 2 beach towels, a beach bag, and 2 beach chairs to use while you are here.

There is abundant free on-street parking.

Please Note: The apartment is part of a 2-family building that was built in the 1890's. We live in the other unit directly above the apartment. The units are completely separate, and we will be sure to give you space and be as quiet as we can be. However, you may see us entering the house through our entrance or hear us moving around upstairs from time to time.

Barn by the Harbor! A cozy renovated, shabby chic, barn in historic Beverly is perfect for family visits or coastal exploration. Minutes from Salem, steps from Beverly harbor. Watch the boats while you sip coffee in bed! Enjoy your private patio with a grill. Walk to downtown, the waterfront, beautiful parks or the depot and train to Salem, Boston & Cape Ann. There is a lot to do on the North Shore and there is more to "sea" than Salem! I can give you great ideas! Fun local events all winter!

The Barn by the harbor!
In Beverly's historic district just steps from Salem bridge. The "Barn by the harbor" is just up the hill from Beverly harbor. It's attached to an older home, originally built in 1720, that we have been renovating for years. It's a renovated and beautifully decorated barn with water views, French doors onto private patio, full kitchen and sitting area with smart TV and wifi- connect to your own stream. Sunny and bright 2nd floor bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bath. We also have a kayak rack available and room to stash a bike as well. Walk to trains taking you to Boston, Cape Ann, Newburyport, Salem. Walk to beaches, downtown, great restaurants or head to the lobster pound and create your own clambake (we supply the equipment and instructions)
You can stay here without a car. The area is very walkable and public T, Uber and Lyft are plentiful.
Enjoy all of Salem activities without the hassle! But there is so much more to the area! We can help with anything you may need.
Dog owners please note that single dogs are welcome. The back yard and patio area are not completely fenced in for fido to run off leash.

The entire North Shore of Massachusetts is a gem. Known for years as the Gold Coast, this area from Cape Ann to Boston boasts glorious coast line, architecture, art- from galleries to world class museums, whale watching, schooner trips, booze cruises and some of the best food ever! The beaches are outstanding - from what we call the pocket beach on the harbor (just down the street) to Gloucester's fabulous Wingarsheek ( we can tell you a backway to get there with outstanding vistas)
And there is something fun at every time of year!

When people are traveling, they tend to have different schedules, and being able to use the kitchen at different times is convenient. Additionally, having different rooms in the Airbnb space provides a level of privacy and comfort that a one-room hotel cannot match. Coastal living in a charming seaside retreat! Located in Beverly's highly sought-after Goat Hill neighborhood, guests can enjoy a quiet, walkable area with amazing views of the water all while being just minutes from the action in Downtown Beverly and Salem. There is also a short walk to nearby Gillis Park, Pleasant View Beach and the Beverly Depot Commuter Rail station. Guests have their own private entrance, Queen and full-size beds, desk and full bathroom.

The space
This apartment is located on the first level of the home and offers a full kitchen/dining area, living room, bedroom with a Queen-size bed, spare bedroom with a full-size bed and desk, and a full-size bathroom.

There is plenty of free street parking and I can provide a parking spot in the driveway in case of snow or if you need easier access.

I live in the upstairs apartment with two other young professionals and I will be available if you need me for anything regarding your stay.

3rd Floor unit in a multi-family home with a private entrance. Full-time tenants and their wonderful dogs live on the first two floors.


BEDROOM:

1 Bedroom with a queen bed and two walk-in closets. A dresser and blackout curtains are provided. An additional roll-up full-size floor mattress is available if guests prefer not to use the futons for sleeping.


LIVING AREA:

Open living area with two futons, coffee table, smart T.V. (Amazon Fire T.V.), dining table, and bar top (attached to kitchen). Some games and reading provided. Please feel free to login to your preferred apps on the smart T.V. to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.


KITCHEN:

Full-kitchen with basic kitchenware, utensils, appliances, pantry staples, and full-size fridge/freezer. A water filter is located in the refrigerator. While the water out of the tap is safe to drink, it just tastes a little better after being filtered.


BATHROOM:

Full bathroom includes a shower (note: shower/tub combo functions only as a shower), sink, toilet, and a stacked washer/dryer for guest use. All essentials are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.

The space
This is a third floor apartment that requires going up stairs.

Each room has average furnishing enriched by natural light. The space is carpeted so guests please know that after a year of renting there are marks here and there. The apartment is also in an older building so the floors are sloped. It shouldn’t cause any problems for your stay but if this is something that bothers you then this isn’t the place for you. The entire apartment is nothing fancy and if you book this place it is more for the location than it is the apartment itself.
