- "This unit is beautifully decorated, very clean and everything inside looks newly renovated. The communication was quick when I had questions. AC, appliances and TV with lots of channels made our stay great. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of parking and access to all fun activities in Salem is no more than a 10 minute drive. Dane Beach was a quick 2 block walk and was quite beautiful, complete with bathrooms, benches and a shaded picnic area but unfortunately swimming was prohibited due to a bacteria situation. We absolutely loved our stay at 55 Hale Street!!"

This seaside cottage is located on Lothrop Street at Independence Park & Beach on Beverly Harbor, which the Boston Globe selected as one of the ‘20 Best Streets in Boston and Beyond’ in 2012. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and one level living so there are no stairs inside the apartment and only a few at the front of the building in order to get to the apartment. Guests should also know that this is a part of a 2 family building so there is 1 other apartment located above this apartment. That apartment is also an Airbnb.

When you get through the apartment door you immediately walk into the living room where there will be a couch, sofa chair, smart tv and work desk.

Off of the living room is 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is off of the kitchen. Both bedrooms have king size memory foam mattreses. In all my properties I use the same mattresses and they are what I get the most positive feedback on. Everyone says they’re comfortable! Both bedrooms have closets with clothing storage. The 2nd bedroom off the kitchen has a sliding door that leads to the back deck.

The kitchen has all appliances necessary for anything you need to do in the kitchen. It will also be fully stocked with all the supplies you need.

The full bathroom is off the kitchen. It’s a small bathroom and nothing fancy but if you aren’t picky then it absolutely gets the job done. It has 1 sink, shower/tub combo and toilet.

The back deck is exclusive to you the guest and will have outdoor furniture where you can relax or eat dinner. There are water views from the back deck. There are other houses around so they may not be the best water views but you can still see the water.

As I stated in the main description guests please know that this apartment is in an older apartment and is nothing fancy. If you’re picky or expecting luxury I want to be as upfront as possible and let you know that this is not the place for you. For everyone else I’d like to say that even though it is nothing fancy it absolutely can provide a quality functional stay

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located in downtown Beverly just minutes from the historical Salem, ma. this space is located near store, shops, restaurants and night life. With only step from the T station for boston access as well.

- "Nothing about this apartment was comfortable the kitchen had no pots or pans for cooking, no table and chairs to eat, the bed/mattress was uncomfortable,bedding smelled of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the blanket, blinds were broken, restroom tiles were cracked, shower curtain smelled of cigarettes , a train close by made a lot of noise all through the night, no access to the Wi-Fi only had password but not name. However, restaurants nearby were very good Greg’s Tavern Joe’s Pizza and crave, this place was not aesthetically pleasing over all :("
