I was recently widowed (married for 51 years) and wanted away from NY winter. So had to have faith that this was real place and would work for me being first time alone and handicapped. Since I am in wheelchair, she had the site manager have dishes and other needs put down on counters so I could reach them. Parking was right outside my door, entire property very quiet and well kept. I would definitely rent there again."

- "It's my second year renting here we really enjoy." - "My favorite place to stay. Fully furnished and equipped to cook, rest, and the best part is the short distance to the river. Very private, we love it!" - "It was a much different neighborhood that what we have typically stayed in before. It looked a little scary as we drove into the apt complex at night, but all was safe. The home is two separate apartments. It says it sleeps 14, but there is only seating for 7 on the couch in the main living space. The kitchen table had 6 seats. The other couch/ futon/bed was in the kitchen of the other connected unit, but it was so removed from the main area no one used it. We did use the other unit’s bedroom with private bath. The kids had a blast at the beach, there were some other residents that used it while we were there, for the most part, they were mellow and used kid friendly language, there was only one time we had to take the kids in due to very coarse inappropriate language. It was so nice to leave the snow behind and relax in the sun on the beach. The property was amazing in attending to any issues. We had a little problem with no WiFi at first, but they fixed it up in a jiffy! Very Pleasant stay. Would stay again."

Enjoy fantastic views and comfortable surroundings. This is the lower level guest house of our riverfront vacation home. It has a private entrance with access to the boat dock. Enjoy river and mountain views from the living room, full kitchen and patio. Bring your jet skis and fishing poles we are on the deep part of the river. The dock and patio are shared with the main house. Main house is not a rental. The space is not kid friendly.

The space
This is a one bedroom guest house. It is the lower level of our riverfront vacation house. Perfect for traveling nurses, snow birds or couples who just want to get away to Colorado River. Parking will be in the driveway. You will have access to the boat dock to tie down your river toys during your stay. There is no laundry in the space, but arrangements can be made for use of the units in the garage for stays of longer than a week. We do not rent the top unit, but it is used often by us or our family and close friends. The main house has its own patio, but anyone in the main house will use the lower level patio to access the boat dock. Keep this in mind if you plan to sleep during the day. Non-smokers only please. The space is not kid friendly. Not animal friendly, Host has allergies.

The unit is ideal for two adults. The sewer system is below grade, requiring a pump to bring it to street level. We cannot accommodate extra guests at the home. We pay a living wage to our housekeeper. The cleaning fee reflects this.

This is a private apartment on the lower level of a main house. Use of stairs is required. Your private entrance is on the lower level patio. It is a shared patio with the main house. Not suitable for children, pets, or more than two guests. You will receive the lock box code through this platform from the host on the day of check in.

This home is it's own self contained space, with it's own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, but is below our main house. You will be parking in the driveway and are required to use stairs to access the space.

Security Camera disclosure
This property has security cameras. They are activated only by movement. They are located on the exterior of the garage, facing the driveway, In the interior of the garage, facing the entrance to the main house from the garage. There is one facing the door of the main house and the entrance to this space, the Riverfront Guest house. There is a camera on the alarm control panel on the inside of the house, it is only activated to take a still photo of the person who disarms the alarm. Tampering with, disabling, blocking or destroying these cameras are grounds for immediate cancellation of your reservation. The home is not suitable for more than two guest, children or pets. No smoking on the property.

The space
This is a large one bedroom apartment located directly on the Colorado River. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a twin sleeper sofa and private patio for enjoying the spectacular desert sunsets or morning coffee . You can enjoy the river views from the king sized bed. The living room sofa has a queen sleeper with upgraded memory foam mattress for added comfort and a twin sleeper. The kitchen and dining room have views up and down the river and seating for 6 and is equipped with everything you need. The unit has a washer and dryer in the unit.

The area is a perfect base to explore the Colorado River, Lake Mohave and the Mojave Desert, historic mining towns and the casinos of neighboring Laughlin, Nevada. No fees to use the beach, no wake zone, private dock to fish, directly across from Harrahs, beautiful views, tie up a jet ski or a boat, has a boat launch next door at the park or at the riverside across the way, 45 second walk to the beach, enjoy lunch with the family, bbq and walk back to your unit to cool off
