You could see the water in the Quay and hear the live band play at Number 57 pub (thankfully they quieted down by 10pm and only play Fri & Sat). In such a unique & historic building they made use of every square inch. We were thankful to have a shower stall to step into vs having to climb into a tub shower. You literally are in the perfect location with only a 5min walk to the river Tay, visitors center, Mark & Spencer market, shopping district, bus or train stations. Sad to leave such a restful haven, but would definitely rent again when coming back to Dundee!!"

The place is a small one bedroom newly refurbished flat. The living room is a decent size and there is a sofa bed and TV. I brought the settee and I combined it with a small table because I felt it would be nice to sit in front of the window and enjoy your afternoon coffee or tea.

Location

The apartment is located in a small cul-de-sac so it’s quiet and peaceful, despite being close to centre of the lovely coastal suburb of Broughty Ferry. You are just a few minutes’ walk from the picturesque harbour and shoreline. Families love the excellent children’s playpark at nearby Castle Green and there are lots of local cycle paths too.

Down near the seashore, the striking Broughty Castle is well worth a visit. Dating back to 1490 when it was built to protect the Tay estuary, it now houses a museum which explains the history of this pretty fishing village.

The famous golf courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews are close by and there are other excellent courses locally for avid golfers to test their links game. The beautiful sandy beach nearby provides a haven for wildlife.

Broughty Ferry train station is just minutes away. Plus, being just four miles from the city of Dundee, there are excellent road, rail and air links making for straightforward travel.
