- "We three drove from the Cairngorm mountains to Anstruther by the sea and found the change of scenery a feast for the senses! Allan’s place is beautiful and sparkling clean as well. It’s close to shopping and gorgeous views of the sea wall. The cottage is right next to a busy 2 lane road but we have noise maker apps on our phones which help with sleeping. We had lovely weather to enjoy our boat trip to the Isle of May where there are thousands of birds including adorable puffins. Be sure to make reservations in advance so you don’t miss out and take a jacket. Also reserve a table at “The Bank” located just across the street…you won’t be disappointed!"
