There are two bedrooms with Queen sized beds (sleeping 2 guests each) and closets. One of these bedrooms also has a TV and dresser. There is a full-sized mattress in the pull-out sofa in the living room to sleep an additional 1-2 people.

The living room offers plenty of space and a large TV. There are also several outdoor spaces including an enclosed front porch, a private back porch, and a fenced-in yard with a fire pit and chairs.

The dining room comfortably seats 6 people. There is a full kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you’ll need! The bathroom has a bathtub and storage for toiletries.

The driveway can fit 3-4 cars and there is free street parking on surrounding streets.

The space
Within the bedroom, you'll find a cozy full size bed for 2 with 4 pillows. There are extra blankets and towels in the closet designated for the guests. There is plenty of room for your clothes and belongings in both the closet and the dresser. Also in the closet is an iron and ironing board which you're welcome to use. You'll find accessible outlets for charging. The room has its own lock so you can rest assured everything is safe.

Enjoy the full size, and well stocked kitchen. Feel free to cook with the provided pots, pans, dishes, silverware, spices, and more. There will be a shelf in the fridge and pantry designated for your use! There's a dishwasher for your use as well.

The dining room and the porch each have dining space you're welcome to use.

The backyard has a seating area that is well lit and whimsical. There's lots of room for yard games. Guests are more than welcome to enjoy this space.

The living room features a couch with 2 recliners on either end. The TV is 50" and has Netflix, Hulu, Prime, HBOMax, and Disney+.

Washer and Dryer are on site, in the unit and can be used for free.

Private First Floor Rear Apartment of an 1849 historical home in the heart of Middletown, CT. One block walk to Wesleyan University with private parking. Main street also one block away with many great restaurants, and our best local coffee shop (Klekolo) just doors away from your apartment. The House is across from the public library. Stone patio in a lovely fenced in rear yard.

The space
This private first floor apartment is an addition located on the rear of our Historic Greek Revival Italianate House. It is a 1 bedroom studio apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a tub/shower. There is a separate laundry room off the back of the main house with a washer/dryer unit for your convenience. It is through the double glass doors off the patio. The apartment has a tv with basic cable and wireless internet. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and a supplemental gas heater for added comfort. We install window unit AC during the warmer months. The rear yard is fenced in and a great place to relax when the weather is nice. The best part of this house is that we have an extraordinary rear yard that offers something more like a retreat in the middle of the city. The whole experience of this apartment is quiet, peaceful and extremely convenient to Wesleyan and other Middletown area activities.

The space is a one bedroom condo with fully renovated inside . The decor is boho chic and all very cozy . There is a queen bed in the bedroom that is a Serta hybrid mattress that goes up and down if you wish . I use high quality sheets and pillows .
The bathroom is stocked with towels and extra things that you may have forgotten on your journey .

The whole condo is yours as if it was your home . The living room has a 70 in smart tv , that has Netflix , Disney plus , Hulu, paramount and of course the house is equipped with WiFi . There is also a Nintendo there for my gamers ( I love super Mario )

Two balconies with slider doors to enjoy the breeze and beautiful views . Air conditioning and great heat throughout the entire unit .

The Kitchen : The appliances are stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and fridge , microwave , toaster oven , blender, air fryer , kureig , waffle maker , seasonings , utensils . The kitchen towels are in the drawer next to the stove .

The Laundry : washer and dryer , please don’t wash work/construction clothes in the in house unit . There are pay washer and dryers in the common . area .

The house sits on a quarter of an acre lot in the Downtown Village Historic District of Middletown. We are located very close to the Wesleyan Campus as well as Main Street.

Our home is located within minutes of downtown Middletown. You can eat in our well equipped kitchen or out at any of the 5 star restaurants around town. Enjoy hopping into small boutique and major big box stores around town. Parents of Wesleyan students can enjoy visiting and come stay in a quiet apartment minutes from the campus. There are art galleries, summer theatre nearby and a nice safe place to stroll around town. If hiking is your thing, there are many marked trails around the area.

The apartment consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed, dresser with mirror and a TV. A living room with two couches, one converts to a double bed for an extra guest and a TV with many Roku stations to watch. An eat-in kitchen with equipment to make a meal and a table that fits three. A full bath with a walk-in shower and a stacking washer and dryer. There is also a dedicated area for you to use as an office while you stay. The apartment is on the second floor, there are chairs to sit outside on the front porch, this is a shared space with other guest on the first floor apartment.

The yard around and behind the house are not for our guests to use at this time.

Feel free to enjoy use of the yard, beach, dock, and paddleboat. Please do not use the canoe or standing paddleboard.

No guests are allowed beyond those booking the room. Pets may be allowed, depending on specifics. No pets unless host’s pre-approval is communicated in the app. Violation of either of these rules will result in termination of your stay, with no refund. Quiet time is from 10pm to 6 am.

We are located within the Wesleyan Campus area and offer a "sanctuary in the city" environment suitable for a retired adult or virtual professional who appreciates a quiet, peaceful space. Our place is great for adults who appreciiate a quiet, restful, conscious and community-minded environment . Both myself and my husband are on premises 24/7, normally providing spiritual and meditative therapies to the community from our home offices, which are in private places on the property that are separate from the rental unit. We are both medically at-risk individuals, but are fully vaccinated & we welcome guests who appreciates following whatever the current COVID guidelines are while staying with us.

We are on the third floor and our space is setup as an adult environment that is not suitable for children under 12. We are an historical home and though beautifully updated, we are not child-safe and sound can be an issue for whomever may be sleeping on the second floor.

There are parking for up to 4 cars - we just ask that you park as far to the left as you can. We share the driveway with our neighbors who live to the right.

All access doors are with self-locking key pads and the same code will work for all doors. We provide multiple entry ways for a convenient stay!

Other things to note
We are on a main street so please expect to hear traffic, mostly during the day. However, ear plugs and a noise machine are included for use in the unit if needed at night.

We have up to 4 parking spaces for your use.
If additional parking is needed you will have to park across the street by Wesleyan.

We live on the bottom floor of the home so you may see us from time to time. Feel free to say Hi, but don’t worry we won’t talk your ear off and allow you to enjoy your stay!

Hot tub is under the deck and is available for you to use during your stay! We have one time use slippers if needed just message us. Towels are available by the back entryway of your unit.
