- "We loved our apartment which was the “biggy” and well worth the extra expense for a longer stay with two bedrooms, full kitchen and 2 sitting areas, bonus is the washer/dryer in the bathroom. We were on the 5th floor so above the noise and had the window open at night, the bedrooms are at the rear not street side so no noise. It is very secure, locked gate and door to access the building. Whilst the area will not suit everyone, it’s busy and “kebab land” no shortage of food, it’s multicultural and shabbier than the other sides of Oslo, it would be impossible to get such a great apartment at this price in a different area, the tube is 200m walk but we actually walked from the main train station off the airport train to the apartment in 15min with cases. The customer service from Bob is outstanding and when we got locked out it took 5min to re send our code, brilliant, definitely worth booking."

The shower doors wouldn’t open properly as it was too close to the sink/toilet. Couldn’t get any tv channels but did have Netflix/YouTube etc. no basic cooking ingredients in the kitchen or oven gloves, no shampoo. ideally located though and bed was comfortable. Tram stop to the centre outside and it was clean and in a nice safe area."

And I didn’t get new towels on second day." - "For pet owners its a good location, with the little park "lillebislett" just across the street for your dog morning and evening walk,-and then the very nice St.Hsanshaugen park just 10 minutes walk up te strees. My stay could have been nicer if it wasnt for this: -Remote control for TV did not work, needed new batteries, and it was no extra in fhe appartment . -No shampoo in the shower despite that the front desk had informed that there would be soap/shampoo. -No broom to clean up all the gravel/sand you and your dog bring inside after walking the dirty streets. The fridge was placed above 4 kitchen drawers, and fhe freezing compartmenr on the top was barely accesable for an average tall female. The location is an old building, and the front door is rather heavy to open, and it is a small and very steep stair from the sidewalk to the front door, must be careful if having a dog to prevent running out in the street. There was absolutely no information of any sort in the appartment. it would have been much easier if one could have information about how to operate tv and wifi. "

The apartment is a unique project in the Oslo context, with no insight from neighbours, a 35 m2 private glassed balcony, and sun from all directions. It consists of an open space of 60 m2 holding the kitchen and areas for eating, lounging or working. The way the sun plows through the apartment, bringing the sunsets as a panorama across the whole apartment is a spectacle on its own. It is furnitured with various design icons, that interacts with the design elements of oak through the space.

The space
The complete apartment is 132 m2, and consists of 3 bedrooms, an office (private), 2 bathrooms and a 60 m2 space with opened ceilings, displaying the loft beams and a ceiling hight of 4,15 meter. The sensation of space in the apartment is very special, because of the large opened structure, and the 35m2 glassed balcony outside, in the summer creating an interraction between inside and outside that is very special.

I have three bedrooms that I rent out, and the guests then also of course have access to the large common space and balcony. I am sometimes in the studioroom myself (not pictured here).
