The unit has 3 bedrooms, equipped with a king bed in the master, a queen in the second bedroom and a large bunk bed (full bed on the bottom, twin on top) in the third bedroom. There is also a futon in the third bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room for extra sleeping space.
Free parking spot is included in the secured underground parkade. A second parking spot may be available, if needed.
A boat slip also may be available, at an additional cost.

The “Sea of Galilee” condo at Barona Beach Resort is a beautifully updated beachfront condo nestled on the shore of Lake Okanagan in West Kelowna. You might be questioning the condo name “Sea of Galilee”. The view of the lake from the deck appears similar to that of the real Sea of Galilee in Israel. Yes, one has to use some imagination, however those who have visited Israel agree the similarities are startling.
The condo is located on the top floor of a building adjacent to the quiet and private canal and is the closest unit to the lake. The unit was professionally updated in 2023 with paint, tile and carpet, window coverings, lighting, quartz countertops and new accents. Enjoy the seamless flow between the kitchen, living area, and stunning lake views. They provide a picture-perfect backdrop for daily activities. The three bedrooms (one king, one queen and one twin) provide comfortable sleeping accommodation for six people. The master bedroom boasts unobstructed lake views, creating a tranquil retreat to start and end your day. There are two full bathrooms, one being secluded to the master bedroom. The ‘gourmet’ open kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, contains lots of storage and working space.
Outside, a private sandy beach spans 600 feet. Additional resort-style amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, rentable movie theatre, rentable events room, beauty salon, dog run and a smokers only seating area. The resort also contains two docks with boat slips owned by some condo owners. (Kids love jumping into the lake from the end of the docks.) “The Sea of Galilee’ condo does not include a boat slip. It does include one indoor parking stall.
Explore the West Side Wine Trails renowned vineyards (Mission Hill, Quails Gate and Frind) just minutes away, and enjoy the convenience of nearby shopping and dining options, all within a five-minute drive. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to hiking, biking trails & golf courses!

This unit gives you a great view of Mission Hill, but faces the parking lot (no lake/pool view). Communication at check-in was confusing as messages were coming via text phone call and email. In the past all communication has been through the Vrbo site, but this was not the case in the situation. I believe this property manager had just taken over, and the unit did not have any wine glasses, very few towels, and no plastic glassware for the pool. I believe we were one of the first people to stay there since the transition so that may explain things. Overall a good experience at Barona Beach, and this unit was well priced for the location."

Three large bedrooms and beds and ground level facing the pool which was so perfect for our large family's vacation. Place was clean and check in was easy. The only feedback i have is that for check in, the manager wanted to know exactly what time we'd be checking in at as he needed to meet us in person. The unit is starting to show it's age and could use some TLC as well as an inventory check as there were quite a few key kitchen items that were missing. This well equipped condo has all the comforts of home and split design for maximum privacy. The spacious master suite hosts a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom accommodates two queen beds with ensuite. The kitchen has granite countertops, maple cabinetry, stainless appliances (dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave, and wine fridge) and full coffee station with expresso machine, French Press, and drip coffee machine. French doors open up to a huge patio with BBQ, high top table, diner table, wicker sectional and propane fire table for those romantic evenings or roasting marshmallows.
The Lakeside Resort has enjoyment for all ages; kids will love the pools/waterslide and adults will love the onsite gourmet restaurant and full service spa. The Resort is centrally located to visit all the world class wineries (Black Swift, The Hatch, and Crown and Thieves), amazing golf courses, ski resorts, farmers markets for fresh produce, and hiking for all skill levels. Although our location is very close to many attractions it would not be considered walking distance to them so a vehicle is strongly advised. Rose Valley Regional Park is the one point of interest that is within a 5 minute walk of the suite.

Relax and unwind in this private and quiet condo. Take advantage of the numerous amenities such as the heated pool, hot tub, well equipped gym or a treatment at the onsite spa. The unit is on the main floor and is fully stocked. You will enjoy the entire condo that overlooks the canal and lake.

Please note that the pool and hot tub is seasonal and usually opens for the May long weekend and closes after the Labour Day weekend (weather permitting).
Our unit has one bedroom that features a comfortable queen pillow top mattress. From the bedroom window you can see the famous Mission Hill Winery Bell tower.
The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, waffle iron, professional blender, basic seasonings, gas stove, full size fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and electric kettle. There is a full size BBQ on the covered deck. Watch the boats go by while you drink your morning coffee on the deck.
The living room features a comfortable leather pull out sectional which sleeps 2. There is a large Smart TV in the living room with Cable TV and Netflix capability for your personal login.
The in-unit washer and dryer will make your extended stay more comfortable.
The condo is right on Okanagan Lake and very close to several award winning Wineries, Golf courses and Shopping. Only minutes from Downtown Kelowna. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). Our unit is not facing the pool area, and is very quiet.
