Bright ski in / ski out studio suite. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Parking spot for one vehicle. Located right behind the new skating rink. Steps away from the main village. Access to golf, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. This studio suite has its own entrance, wifi and cable tv. The Murphy wall bed is queen size, and two more people will fit on the roll out couch/day bed. Guest can cook their own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and let the dishwasher do the clean up. This includes: Microwave, Stove/Oven, Double sink, Full size fridge, and tea/coffee is included. No Smoking and no pets allowed. Sorry No hot tub during the summer and fall months !

Mattress and pillows were comfortable, had some games to play, felt just like a home away from home. We didnt have any problems with building noise. It was quite quiet for us. Unit faces the trees, so you have a private view, not looking into someone elses place. My son and I snowboard, so it was a quick 3ish minute walk to the hard turn in gentle giant. If you ski, it would be a true ski in, ski out. Very convenient location. Would love to stay again."

Quick drive into the village, or quick walk to Peaks West to visit SunPeaks Yoga, pharmacy, OHana's market or the Magic Cattleguard Diner.
This is a peaceful and quiet corner of SunPeaks and we love jumping on "the Burf" in the mornings, watching the horses in stable yards just past the lift, as well as sightings of the occasional fox, moose or bear. Walking and snowshoe trails run right past the building.

Welcome to the Fox Cub Creekside! This newly renovated one-bedroom suite is located in the west end of Sun Peaks. Although technically a basement suite, it is 1 story above ground with its own private 22 foot balcony where you will enjoy beautiful mountain and creek views.
It certainly does not feel like a basement suite as it boasts 10 ft ceilings and is above ground with large windows that allow a lot of light into the suite. It is beautifully furnished and decorated with ample room for a couple or single person. There are heated floors, a gas fireplace, a small ski boot dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and in-suite laundry. The hosts live upstairs and offer their secure locked up shed for ski & snowboarding equipment security. There is a FREE shuttle bus that runs throughout the ski season and the bus stop is located directly across the street. It is only a 5 min drive to the village. The ski in is also across the street and the ski out is a quick 10 minute walk to the Burfield Chair.
There are concrete floors between the living spaces and a double dry-walled ceiling to help with the sound barrier. It is a private, quiet, and cozy space for any avid mountain enthusiast or simply a retreat for enjoying a relaxing and peaceful holiday away from home.

The apartment offers one of the only mountain & village view private hot tubs in the building. Positioned on the north west corner of the building with you'll enjoy loads of natural light, along with stunning sunsets across the valley. The open plan kitchen forms the hub of the home, with the large island bench centrally positioned for access to both living areas. Good separation between bedrooms is perfect for larger groups or differing sleep schedules.

Perhaps a 3 minute walk to the end of the village where we clipped into our skis to slide to the lift, and at the end of the day we skied to across the street with a 1 minute walk back. A couple of things to mention; however, that the website advertises a hot tub, but in fact only has the tub running in the winter. They would have enjoyed a soak after spending a day biking the trails/mountain. Unfortunately, they also found a used nicotine patch stuck to the bed sheets. I can see how that might be missed, but it does make one wonder how thorough the cleaners are when cleaning the unit."

Each morning we brought the skis out of the locker and skied past the shops to the chair lift. Delightful! This unit was cosy & comfortable for a family of 5 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge. The decor is dated "Country style" but suits the ski chalet feel. The bedrooms are small but there is room in the lounge for socialising. We cooked dinner most nights in the reasonably stocked kitchen. We had our groceries delivered from Kamloops which had us well stocked up from the start. We enjoyed 3 dinners out in the local Village restaurants. It pays to make a reservation several days in advance as they get very busy during the Christmas/New Year holidays. After 7 days of skiing we were tired yet happy. Pleased with the choice of accomodation for its location. The question for next time is..... do we stay in the same place or try something new?"

It is an entry-level studio situated at the back of the Timberline property, providing privacy and backing onto a serene forested area. There is a private patio area with outdoor seating in the summer.

Inside, you’ll find a key hanging near the entry wall—this grants access to both the parkade and your private equipment storage locker located just outside the front door. Please ensure the key is returned to its hook after each use for the next guests.
Heating & Comfort: The unit features a cozy gas fireplace (switch located near the bunk room wall) and individually controlled thermostats in each room so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. The entrance, bathrooms, and kitchen also have heated floors for added comfort. We kindly ask that you turn off the fireplace and set all thermostats to 15°C upon checkout.
Ski & Gear Storage: To help keep the interior clean and comfortable, we ask that all outdoor equipment remain in the designated storage locker outside the unit. Your storage key is conveniently located inside, near the entrance.

At the condo, you’ll find two bins in the lockout; one for garbage, one for mixed recycling, and a blue bin for bottles and cans, which may be donated at the Transfer Station.

The restaurants featured on the ground level of this building are Powder Hounds, and 5-Forty Café.
Right across from the building is the Play Area which in the summer has a picnic table, cornhole (AKA beanbag toss), table tennis, a giant chess set/checkerboard and occasionally giant Connect-4. Take a look and see which game of the day interests you most!
If you exit from the top of the village you can follow the valley trail over to the Sports Complex, which features tennis courts, a soccer field and children's playground, and will be home to the brand new ice skating rink.

Fireside Lodge is a former hotel that now has each unit individually owned. There is a common lobby-like area on the ground level but there is no check-in desk as each unit is individually owned or managed by separate accommodators.
There is a ski locker room and a hot tub area, both of which are shared by guests of the building.
There are also laundry rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors with coin-operated machines.

Centrally located in the Sun Peaks village across from the Sports Centre, the Kookaburra Lodge offers deluxe modern designer styled suites overlooking McGillivray Creek.

SKI IN & SKI OUT INFORMATION:
Ski-In – From the top of Sundance, use “Rambler” to get on “Gentle Giant” and take the cut-off behind Cahilty Lodge (Red 11 on the map below) which will bring you to just across the street from Kookaburra Lodge (Red 13 circled on the map below). You can also use “ Sundance”, “Sunrise”, “Three Bears”, or “Peak-A-Boo” to connect to Rambler and/or Gentle Giant.
Ski-Out – Cross the street to the top of the main village, and head down to the Sunburst and Sundance Express chairlifts.

Fireside Lodge is located at the top of the main village which provides easy and convenient access to the best restaurants and shopping Sun Peaks has to offer, not to mention the ski-in/out access to the main lifts!
On the ground level of the building is Powder Hounds restaurant, famous for their take on German schnitzel dishes, as well as 5forty Cafe which is a local's hotspot, and Creekside Critters, a pet supplies store.
The building has an underground parkade as well as a ski locker room and outdoor private hot tub area, which was newly renovated for the 2019/2020 winter season.
Right across from the building is the Play Area which in the summer has a picnic table, cornhole (AKA beanbag toss), table tennis, a giant chess set/checkerboard and occasionally giant Connect-4. Take a look and see which game of the day interests you most!
If you exit from the top of the village you can follow the valley trail over to the Sports Complex, which features tennis courts, a soccer field and children's playground, and will be home to the brand new ice skating rink which will be ready for the 2020/2021 winter season.
Guest access
Fireside Lodge is a former hotel that now has each unit individually owned. There is a common lobby-like area on the ground level but there is no check-in desk as each unit is individually owned or managed by separate accommodation providers.
There is a ski locker room and a hot tub area, both of which are shared by guests of the building.
There are also laundry rooms on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors with coin-operated machines.
The building has an underground parkade as well as a ski locker room and outdoor private hot tub area.
Other things to note
Parking lot is first-come first-served!!
Fireside Lodge has an elevator however if the elevator is out of order and/or needs maintenance, this falls on the building manager and not any individual accommodation providers.
SKI IN & SKI OUT INFORMATION
Fireside Lodge is located centrally in the main village, so from the entrance of the lodge you can put on your gear and ski/board right down to the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts!
From the top of Sundance, use Rambler to get on Gentle Giant and take the cut-off behind Cahilty Lodge which will bring you out just across the street from Fireside Lodge.
Alternatively, any run that will end below the Sundance Express chairlift is just a short walk back to Fireside Lodge.
