- "First, the good stuff. Great size unit. Plenty big, if you have four or more people. Two full baths. King bed was great. Nice and firm. This unit as at the back, so less noise but little view of the lake. We thought this might be more quiet being a block from the beach/ main st. with more people and cars. Large patio with table and seating. Smaller patio off bedroom. Also, on the 5th floor are BBQs and pool table and foosball. Nice touch. The not so nice. Cabinets and some furniture tired. Units can be noisy, as wood floors and people not taking shoes off is annoying. During our 1st night there were some girls staying in 201 and guys above us. They were yelling and running up and down until almost 11. My wife finally told them to take it down a notch. Also, they wanted money to park. First email said X for indoor. Then I got the online form and it said 3.5 times as much. I don't pay that in Vancouver. Also, said a lot per day for a pet! Sorry, won't let me put prices. Front door of the building says,"No Pets". Good news was midweek, not many people in the building, so much quieter. You can park on the street but st. gets busy on weekends. Other building we considered had free indoor parking with EV chargers. "

It is advertised as lake view but we looked out at the neighbouring trailer park. They never sent checkin information. You have to call an information phone number to get access codes, which is an extra hassle you don’t want when traveling. Kitchen is poorly stocked with old, broken and falling apart Dollar Store kitchen utensils, knives and supplies. It was hard to cook anything. Frying pans were so old with the Teflon flaking off, it was unusable. There was barely enough plates and cutlery for six people to eat. Garburator was broken and food from the previous visitors was still in the sink. Listing says pet friendly, which is great, but there are signs everywhere in the building saying no pets allowed. If you text the information number, they will send people to help. They were very friendly and did their best to help solve issues but it’s super annoying to have to call/text for basic items that should be stocked in a standard kitchen. Check in is late and check out is early, which takes away from the value and convenience of the booking. Listings says free parking but that’s only if you park on the street. If you want to park in the property’s garage, you have to pay an additional charge per night per car. "

My one negative is the cleanliness… the host sent lengthy messages 3 times about the need to be out exactly at 10am (10:15 would incur a fee and 11 an extra night) because they cleaning that needed to be done and they needed every second to complete it. There was litter under the beds, toothpaste smudges in the bathroom, some of the dishes were dirty and there was an odor in the apartment. Definitely needs more attention to the cleaning although overall it was a good space. "

- "Amazing experience " - "We did not have a lakeview as represented in the pictures, so this was disappointing. Instead we looked over a run down RV park. However, sitting down on the furniture or at the kitchen table, the view was of trees and mountains. The back balcony has a nice view of the mountain and glacier. Some of the cookware is old and needs to be replaced. Limited cooking utensils as well. Cleaning staff are excellent and very polite. Especially Eric and Yves. I would stay again but specifically request a front lake view in the lofts. It was low season, so the rate was a bargain. The beds are excellent. Very clean condo. "

- "This was a fun little condo to stay in Harrison Hot Springs. Can’t beat the location across the street from the beach. A couple blocks from an amazing little coffee shop. Easy to get in and out of. Has everything you need for your stay. A/C in the bedroom but with fans keep the whole place cool even in +30 temps. Full size fridge and stove in the compact kitchen. Bathroom is outdated but very functional although cozy. Spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed as well as a spacious living area. Couple nice chairs on the walkway to catch the lake views while sipping g your morning coffee or evening beverage. Parking included which is mostly shaded from the hot afternoon sun. Would totally stay here again. Totally worth it. Comparable in price if not cheaper than most of the hotels. Responsive hosts. Nice clean little unit."

1. Based on past experiences, we do not host groups who are all 21 years of age or younger. If your group is 21 years of age or younger, please do not place a reservation without written pre-approval from us. Failure to do so will result in termination of your reservation.

2. Locals are not allowed to place a booking without pre-approval from us. This is to prevent nearby residents from using our property as a party house.

3. Please note that we only release door codes to the person who booked the reservation, and you must provide valid, government issued photo ID.

4. All guests must be accounted for in the reservation. This means all guests entering the property at any point in time counts as a guest. In other words, the definition of a guest is not limited to only those people planning on sleeping inside the property, but to all guests planning to be inside at any given time. For example, if 6 people are going to “hang out” inside, but only 2 people plan on sleeping over, then the guest count selecting during the booking should be “6” not “2.” Any extra guests not disclosed before arrival will lead to an immediate termination of the reservation or an additional charge of $30 per person. We will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

5. We may need to ask for your driver's license for verification during the check-in process.

6. No parties/events. We have close relationships with our neighbors, and we respect their rights as homeowners. Therefore, we will know if parties are being held. If this rule is not followed, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

7. Not for commercial use or special occasions without pre-approval (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays, commercials, bridal showers, photoshoots, etc.). We will consider your request if you request in advance. Failure to request in advance will lead to termination of your reservation.

8. Please note that this is a smoke-free/drug free environment. If any smoking/vaping/drugs are detected either within the retreat or in the common areas, we will immediately terminate the reservation and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

9. No excessive noise or loud music. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. If any noise complaints are reported by neighbors or detected, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation up to $1,000 for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

10. Please check-out of your suite on time in order to avoid a late check-out fee. It takes our cleaners a full 5 hours to clean and launder the suite for the next guest to check-in. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out please request it in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you for an additional fee of $15 per hour up to 2 hours; this is to cover our cost of hiring additional cleaners.

Please also acknowledge the following:

1. Based on past experiences, we do not host groups who are all 21 years of age or younger. If your group is 21 years of age or younger, please do not place a reservation without written pre-approval from us. Failure to do so will result in termination of your reservation.

2. Locals are not allowed to place a booking without pre-approval from us. This is to prevent nearby residents from using our property as a party house.

3. Please note that we only release door codes to the person who booked the reservation, and you must provide valid, government issued photo ID.

4. All guests must be accounted for in the reservation. This means all guests entering the property at any point in time counts as a guest. In other words, the definition of a guest is not limited to only those people planning on sleeping inside the property, but to all guests planning to be inside at any given time. For example, if 6 people are going to “hang out” inside, but only 2 people plan on sleeping over, then the guest count selecting during the booking should be “6” not “2.” Any extra guests not disclosed before arrival will lead to an immediate termination of the reservation or an additional charge of $30 per person. We will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

5. We may need to ask for your driver's license for verification during the check-in process.

6. No parties/events. We have close relationships with our neighbors, and we respect their rights as homeowners. Therefore, we will know if parties are being held. If this rule is not followed, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

7. Not for commercial use or special occasions without pre-approval (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays, commercials, bridal showers, photoshoots, etc.). We will consider your request if you request in advance. Failure to request in advance will lead to termination of your reservation.

8. Please note that this is a smoke-free/drug free environment. If any smoking/vaping/drugs are detected either within the retreat or in the common areas, we will immediately terminate the reservation and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

9. No excessive noise or loud music. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. If any noise complaints are reported by neighbors or detected, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation up to $1,000 for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

10. Please check-out of your suite on time in order to avoid a late check-out fee. It takes our cleaners a full 5 hours to clean and launder the suite for the next guest to check-in. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out please request it in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you for an additional

5. We may need to ask for your driver's license for verification during the check-in process.

6. No parties/events. We have close relationships with our neighbors, and we respect their rights as homeowners. Therefore, we will know if parties are being held. If this rule is not followed, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

7. Not for commercial use or special occasions without pre-approval (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays, commercials, bridal showers, photoshoots, etc.). We will consider your request if you request in advance. Failure to request in advance will lead to termination of your reservation.

8. Please note that this is a smoke-free/drug free environment. If any smoking/vaping/drugs are detected either within the retreat or in the common areas, we will immediately terminate the reservation and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

9. No excessive noise or loud music. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. If any noise complaints are reported by neighbors or detected, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation up to $1,000 for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

The lack of transparency from the start was lacking. They say it sleeps 12 and there is no way 12 people would be comfortable in the unit. 6 of us was a tight fit. The kitchen is not remotely equipped to the standard degree of what we expect from VRBO. We found a frying pan with dried fried omelet on it in the pantry. A cutting board that had mold growing in it. Wood was split & it was disgusting. We had to wash all the dishes as they were filthy & sticky. The microwave had no plate to heat up food. We had to request cutlery & kitchen utensils to be able to cook. Thank goodness I brought a wine opener & seasoning, etc. All they had was salt & pepper. They barely had enough dinner plates for our group. No serving dishes, etc. There was hair in bathroom drawers & floors Holes in walls. We have never had such a cringy, disappointing experience. This place is not the quality we have come to expect from VRBO. That being said, the picture that is shown is of a the White building that is on the beach is not what they should be using as advertising for this property. That is another building. We were shocked to find our unit was on an inside road facing a lot with RVs. No water view. However, we will thank 'Eric' who came through for us with cooking utensils, bedding, a new microwave etc. Needless to say we will not be recommending this host aandaccomodations. "

We ask that you treat this residence the exact same way that you would want a guest to treat your own home :)

Please also acknowledge the following:

1. Based on past experiences, we do not host groups who are all 21 years of age or younger. If your group is 21 years of age or younger, please do not place a reservation without written pre-approval from us. Failure to do so will result in termination of your reservation.

2. Locals are not allowed to place a booking without pre-approval from us. This is to prevent nearby residents from using our property as a party house.

3. Please note that we only release door codes to the person who booked the reservation, and you must provide valid, government issued photo ID.

4. All guests must be accounted for in the reservation. This means all guests entering the property at any point in time counts as a guest. In other words, the definition of a guest is not limited to only those people planning on sleeping inside the property, but to all guests planning to be inside at any given time. For example, if 6 people are going to “hang out” inside, but only 2 people plan on sleeping over, then the guest count selecting during the booking should be “6” not “2.” Any extra guests not disclosed before arrival will lead to an immediate termination of the reservation or an additional charge of $30 per person. We will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

5. We may need to ask for your driver's license for verification during the check-in process.

6. No parties/events. We have close relationships with our neighbors, and we respect their rights as homeowners. Therefore, we will know if parties are being held. If this rule is not followed, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

7. Not for commercial use or special occasions without pre-approval (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays, commercials, bridal showers, photoshoots, etc.). We will consider your request if you request in advance. Failure to request in advance will lead to termination of your reservation.

8. Please note that this is a smoke-free/drug free environment. If any smoking/vaping/drugs are detected either within the retreat or in the common areas, we will immediately terminate the reservation and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

9. No excessive noise or loud music. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. If any noise complaints are reported by neighbors or detected, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation up to $1,000 for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

10. Please check-out of your suite on time in order to avoid a late check-out fee. It takes our cleaners a full 5 hours to clean and launder the suite for the next guest to check-in. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out please request it in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you for an additional fee of $15 per hour

- "The suite we occupied was not the one originally advertised in photos and booked. Furnishings and location not as described. Very noisy street; a lot of truck traffic. Furniture in poor condition (stains and nicks); stove in very poor condition (ceramic top severely scratched and dirty); walls (holes, scrapes, nicks); ensuite vanity side surface peeling off; not my standard of cleanliness (food left under sofa, hair on bath floors); bath fixtures rusting; screen door patched and stuck in open position."
