Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Minutes away from shopping plaza, restaurants and highway. This is a duplex home so you will be sharing the parking space, backyard and laundry room. You have the whole house to yourselves. We do ask our guests to park to the right side of the garage or on the side of the street.
This room provides privacy and independence. Private entrance, bathroom work/desk area and outside patio. Private and tucked away. There is covered seating for 2, a chaise lounge, outside dining table with umbrella and grill. There are great restaurants walking distance and the beach, steps away! There is a public golf course, great snorkeling and boating all walking distance. Rent an electric bike 3 min walk from house.

The main house on property is rented annually. I ask my guests to please respect their privacy. DO not park at the main house. The guesthouse and parking is on the EAST SIDE of property. Many times they deliver to the main house and has now has become an issue. Thank you so much!

This detached unit is on an acre of land which backs up to Hillsboro Canal, which sets the scene for a sweet escape. The property is quiet and tranquil.

We’re an easygoing millennial married, no-drama couple who love hosting like-minded guests looking for a relaxing stay. We’re happy to accommodate reasonable requests—just don’t expect us to mediate a reality show. 😜

The 200 sq foot unit is entirely detached from our main house tucked away in a corner. Located in unincorporated Broward, the home offers a peaceful retreat with its own drive way+ parking and independent access, completely separate from the main house. 🏠
✨ Cleanliness is our top priority. We maintain the unit ourselves, and do not use a 3rd party. 🛌 Linens and towels are freshly laundered, and the unit is sanitized after every guest leaves. We also treat the property monthly for pests. 🐜
However, being in Florida and near the Everglades, occasional bugs may appear, especially in humid months or when doors are left open. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to a comfortable stay.

We kindly ask that the black gate used to access the property remains closed at all times for everyone’s safety. If you are not comfortable around dogs, please let us know in advance, and we will ensure they are not let out during your stay.
Bed/Sleeping Set up:
The unit is designed and big enough for two people. It is 200 sq feet total.
We want to let you know that the unit is equipped with two traditional memory foam twin mattresses: one as a twin daybed and the other as a pull-out trundle.
If a low trundle is not preferred, there is also a rollaway spring twin-sized bed available, which is the same height as the daybed. This bed is a spring mattress. If you use the trundle you have the option of space saving during the day. It is all in what you want! :)
*If you book, let us know which sleeping arrangement you prefer at least 24 hours to your arrival. This is so we can have it ready. If not, I will assume that the daybed with trundle is the preferred arrangement.
Cooling/Heating:
The unit is equipped with a GREE mini-split AC system. This unit is not loud. We also do have a mini Honeywell space heater, for the occasional S. Florida chilly nights.
Our location:
A lot of people ask how far we are from the beach. We are 7.1 miles West of the Atlantic Ocean. On average it takes about 15-20 mins to get to Deerfield Beach (down Hillsboro Blvd) driving. Uber and Lyft are the common method of transportation if you aren’t renting a car or did not drive.
During snowbird season and spring break be sure to plan adequate time, because traffic is extremely heavy during this time of year. We are about 8 miles from the Brightline Train station. 🚉 And about 4 miles from the Tri-Rail in Deerfield.
We live in the upper top left corner of Broward County, on the Hillsboro Canal. Our zip code is 33073…let this be a guide when looking up distances to special attractions nearby. We are close to thousands of stores and restaurants.
We have ample parking available. if you have more than two vehicles just let us know in advance to shift some things around. If you have a boat or RV, we can accommodate that more than likely also. Just shoot me a message on the footage.
