All of our quests have loved the quiet, peaceful, farm environment with the ability to interact with farm animals. We are in a rural area, yet we are within 6 -8 minutes of malls, restaurants and anything you might need. There are two steps up into the guesthouse, so it is not handicap accessible. Infants or children are welcome. The water is filtered water softener treated, well water. The kitchen does not have a full size oven, but there is one in the pavilion or our house is 15 steps away and you can use our oven.
Air mattresses are available. Walmart and Target are about 8 minutes away.

Other amenities include: wireless internet, TV with roku and DVD player, a/c, heat, ceiling fans, microwave, cook top stove, Crock-Pot, armoire for your use, curtains for privacy, a table and chairs, keurig coffee maker, tea and water bottles. No Smoking, No loud music or parties and No more than 2 cars overnight. We have a large friendly dog that likes to be outside, we have an invisible fence. He barks but is harmless. The house is on well water that is filtered and softened but sometimes and has a tiny "sulfurish" smell". Note: the horses belong to our neighbor not us.

The space
My home has an in law suite in the back of the house and driveway for parking. As you go in there is a living room, Kitchen, dining area and a beautiful master bedroom. The bedroom has high ceilings and lots of windows, full bath, walk in closet and another door off of bathroom to enter the patio, pergola and pool area. A pergola with gas fireplace and landscape lighting highlight the warm and inviting salt pool. This is a quiet neighborhood and great for walking or taking a bike ride. Downtown area is just lovely and 5 minutes by car or 20 minute bike. Restaurants and stores are very close by. Checkout the guide book for places to visit. The beaches are 10 minute drive away, chairs/ umbrellas are available for your use. Many people have enjoyed staying here and it shows when I see them year after year. I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

Location, privacy, ocean. Due to health concerns, pool seen from aerial shots not available Nov-May because owners will be in residence in the main house. Welcome to Nova Beach Cottage, the guest house on the oceanfront estate of famous sculptor, Mihai Popa, a.k.a. “Nova”. Located on the south tip of North Hutchinson Island directly next to the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. Garden and beach path a few steps from the cottage. Screened patio from bedroom.

The space
The living room of Nova Beach Cottage is very cozy with a comfortable sofa and soft rocker, pass through bar to kitchen and is complete with 42'' television so you can curl up in the evenings. The kitchen has a stove with oven, microwave, full sized refrigerator, coffee maker, and is fully equipped for meal preparation. The bedroom has a king sized bed, complete with quality linens and pillows, towels, beach towels and even a beach blanket. Plenty of closet space, his/her dresser drawers, fan, ceiling fan and 33'' television with cable. There is a stacked washer and dryer in the bedroom for your use. A screened patio off the bedroom faces west, perfect for enjoying morning coffee, peaceful reading or writing. Just beyond the patio is an outdoor lounge with a relaxing water feature, hammock for napping, and easy to use gas BBQ grill.The pool is open for guest use from June-November and is large enough for laps and is equipped with lounge chairs, cocktail table and umbrella for afternoon relaxing. The beachfront lower deck of the main house is available for guest use in summer season also.

Guest access
A private garden with grill and screened patio provides serene outdoor space. There is not an ocean view from inside the cottage as it sits on the west side of the main house.

Other things to note
Downtown Fort Pierce is the secret gem of the Treasure Coast and is just 3 miles away (11$ Uber). Vero Beach is a ten mile scenic drive up A1A. Jensen Beach and Stuart are 30 minute drive south down beautiful Indian River Drive or US Highway 1. Renowned Blind Creek clothing optional beach is an easy 14.7 miles down A1A. Orlando, Space Coast and West Palm Beach are all easily accessed as day trips. The property borders 340 acre Fort Pierce Inlet State Park: perfect for beachcombers, hikers, surfers, kayakers, cyclists, boaters, swimmers and nature lovers. Fort Pierce offers farmers market (Saturday 8-12noon and Wednesday 1-4), Sunrise Theatre, museums including A. E. Backus, Manatee Center, Sailfish Brewery, Original Tiki Hut, and many other local favorites are for your exploration. Harbortown Marina and Fort Pierce City Marina are very close and public boat launch is about a mile away. Navy Seal Museum, two botanical gardens, art galleries, cattle ranches, horseback riding (including beach riding tours), charter boats, and hundreds of miles of hiking and bike trails could fill your days. Or you could never leave the property, dip in the beautiful blue ocean and swim in the pool, cocktail in hand, enjoying the complete privacy from sunrise to sunset.
