There are newly installed hurricane proof windows and doors.

This huge studio with a private entrance is very clean and has everything you need. It sits on top of the garage, no neighbors from the left or right side. New AC. This studio has 10-ft ceilings with recessed lighting and has 5 big hurricane impact glass windows. Newly renovated with stainless steel LG appliances. It has a queen bed, sofa, full bath, full size refrigerator, smooth surface electric cooktop, range oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster oven, vacuum, rice cooker and washer/dryer combo in unit. Amenities include cable with PREMIUM 220 channels plus HBO and WIFI (secured WIFI private access and not the one shared with the neighborhood).

The kitchenette is equipped with a counter top oven that is also a toaster and an air fryer (upon request) microwave, mini refrigerator, double hot plate, electric skillet, kuerig and a drip coffee maker, electric water kettle and Weber Gas BBQ grill. Can very easily prepare meals at home.


The shower is a High walled tub, please note if mobility is an issue.

The pool is not heated and chilly in the cooler months.

The cottage is screened in and the door handle is high so it is difficult for young children to get out of the area without adult assistance.

The pool and pond are NOT fenced, please note this when booking with young children.

My favorite thing about Calusia Hedge Cottage is the privacy and nature. You can see birds, squirrels, rabbits and many more from the comfort of your room. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood on 1.35 acres but is still very close to shopping, restaurants, beaches and more. The golf green has restricted flight balls for your use. The space
Calusia Hedge Cottage is more like a Studio apartment because it is an open space room. It accommodates two people very comfortably. The bed is a super-comfy queen and isn't too soft or too hard. It's just right! There is a large smart TV that has most streaming services and high speed internet. Our guest book has all login information for easy access and tons of other local information for your convenience. A quaint bistro set is provided for indoor meals and a table, chairs and umbrella are provided for outdoors. Dishes, utensils and cleaning supplies are provided. A microwave and fridge/freezer combo serve as our "kitchenette". Esthetician services can be booked with our in-house esthetician in the privacy of your room! A service menu is provided in the guest book.

The space
This glowing casita is the perfect homebase for your trip to the FL coast. Recently renovated, the one-bedroom rental is attached to our main home, though you’ll have the whole casita to yourself with free WiFi. The private entrance is just to the left of the main house with parking space for one car & an adjoining patio to help extend your hours in the sunshine.

Bedroom: The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, smart TV (with cable via YouTube TV), dresser (look for games in there!) and closet for storage. Perfect for two people, the space has beautiful natural light with a comfortable cooling mattress. There is light road noise as the bedroom window does face the road, but it’s minimal as the house is on a quiet street.

Bathroom: A large walk-in shower provides a refreshing retreat from the hot Florida sun with shelves for storage. Extra bath towels and washclothes provided.

Main Living Space: When you can pull yourself away from the dreamy blue waters of the Atlantic, the dining area sits four comfortably next to a full remodeled kitchen including a stove & oven, full-sized fridge & freezer, drip coffee machine & tea, dishwasher, air fryer/toaster oven and microwave. A washer and dryer unit is also provided in case you don’t want to bring all of the beachy sand home with you!

Patio: The mini jungle aka outdoor patio is a perfect spot to peacefully start your mornings or stargaze at night with a grill, table and seating for four, as well as a double lounge chair for catching rays or reading your favorite book.

Jupiter is a quiet & laid-back beach community on Florida’s East Coast. Residents have a love for the water with ample boating, surfing, fishing, and adventuring with the neighboring Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Juno Beach & Hobe Sound Beach are the closest (and best!) local beaches with ample free street parking, sprawling beaches (and free showers!) to lead you into the balmy Atlantic Ocean. Jupiter is just north of West Palm Beach and south of Stuart. The closest airport is Palm Beach International Airport (~35min).

Drive in through the black double gates to your hideaway, nestled beneath mature, swaying palm trees. You will be minutes to the beaches, shopping, downtown, financial district and airport thanks to our proximity to I-95 and the Florida turnpike, but you are encouraged to leave it all behind as you rest in our one bedroom, full kitchen, laundry room, standalone guesthouse with coastal decor.

The space
This is a stand-alone 700SF + guesthouse with private separate parking space and spacious front porch. Why book a hotel room with half the space? Or someone’s bedroom when you can have it all! It is newly remodeled with a casual coastal decor: open floor plan, one bedroom with Purple queen bed, down comforter, ottoman/chair bed, sofa bed, air mattress and large closet, attached bathroom with shower, hand held shower, (no tub but guests have used a clear bin instead for little children), desk with task chair, washer/dryer in separate laundry room, covered front porch, outside water hose (also with purified reverse osmosis water), rocking chairs, patio dining set, porch swing, stocked kitchen with newer full size appliances, keurig and personal coffee maker, spice rack, gas stove/oven, whole-house reverse osmosis purified water, Central air conditioning, black out curtains, outdoor games, beach towels, and very private setting with mature Palm trees and separate drive on our large 2.8 acre completed fenced parcel.

If you are looking for approximate distance to specific places, please map it to the Publix in Jupiter Farms and you will have a good idea.


**The bathroom is attached to the bedroom with a door, and there is no access from the living room. We want to make sure this layout will work for your party.

**We observe the Sabbath so we do not reply to inquiries, assist with check-ins (this is a self check-in property) or do other regular business from Fri sundown to Sat sundown. Thank you for respecting that.

Please only use gate code or car-remote-clicker for entry or exit. Kindly refrain from pushing gate open. There is a small black mailbox just inside the gate with an extra remote if you need to leave on foot and need to open the gate.

We are a quiet family except for the squeals of laughter from our two little girls, and our golden doodle puppy. The best guests for us would respect our calm quiet environment.
The entire guesthouse has reverse osmosis water and Wi-Fi . We have a screen (not tv) and NO cable so feel free to hook up your laptop or tablet to it and remember your chords.
Dark towels provided for makeup removal. Separate beach towels provided. Two portable radiator heaters are provided for winter guests. Please check the weather and turn on early enough to warm up nicely. We an ottoman that converts to a single bed and an air mattress. There is a garden hose at the side of the guesthouse (facing main house) with clean filtered reverse osmosis water to rinse your beach gear
For guests with babies, there is a booster seat, high chair, and pack n play for you. We don’t have a baby tub but provided a clear plastic bin that others have used comfortably. Please disassemble pack n play and leave in closet after use.
We are in an equestrian neighborhood in South Florida, with a dirt road. We have regular monthly pest control but between the weather and being next to a major waterway, it’s inevitable that you may meet some uninvited guests. We highly recommend that you allow our pest service to enter and do his job inside if you happen to be there on that day.
We are next to the C18 canal that goes out to the ocean, so we get beautiful views and breezes, not to mention the amazing birds.
We have a large vegetable garden on the NorthEast side of the property and we take care of many fruit trees on the property. So you will see us out and about tending our little “homestead.”

Your booking grants you exclusive access to all areas of the bottom enclosed in-law suites and the property grounds, including the back patio with a spa tub and the front porch. All guests are required to be over 21 unless accompanied by their parents.
We sometimes stay on the top floor of the house, and all upper levels are off limits to the booker and guests.

You can explore the neighborhood by car, bike, or on foot. There is plenty of parking available for at least six cars. Please note that the listing is for the first floor only. We have four bikes available for use, including one that is suitable for a preteen.The home backs up to a nature preserve.

Other things to note
No swimming is allowed in the lake, pond, or canal. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times, as there are alligators in the Pond. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while near the pond.

For groups consisting of more than six adults, please do not book. The home is comfortable with 4 adults. The sleeper sofa can comfortably accommodate two children, but adults should be aware that, depending on their size, it may not be suitable for two adult guests.

This booking includes access to the downstairs area of the property only. The upstairs is our home, and is not included in the rental. We hope to be moving into the top section of the home Summer of 2025. All guests have to be over the age of twenty one, unless accompanied by a Parent.

Alligator in the pond! His name is Tim. We have seen rabbits, deer, barn owls, and turtles on the property. The home is near a state park; wild animals may roam the property at any time. Beach towels, chairs, and a cooler are exclusively for our guests. Juno Beach is less than 18 minutes straight east. Just need your subs from Publix and your favorite drinks. Spa and beach towels are in the queen bed room closet. Plus, the sheets for the fold-down couches are also in the closet.
There are local police and firefighters who live in the neighborhood. Absolutely no parties are allowed. This is a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors will call the cops, and guests will be asked to leave if there is loud music and noise after sunset.

Designed with privacy in mind and separated by the garage from the main house, our guest house offers a tranquil and private retreat. With its own separate entrance and no interference from the main house, you can enjoy a truly secluded and peaceful stay.

The Cottage is next to the owner's historic home and enjoys an "Old Florida" waterfront setting nestled among the oaks draped in Spanish moss.

The space
The Studio Cottage provides a quality queen-sized bed, which is a real space saver that easily transforms living area into a bedroom. Just pull down and sleep! Private bathroom with walk-in shower. Spa dispenser filled with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Convenient stack washer and dryer tucked away in bathroom. Bath towels, beach towels and linens furnished. Blow hair dryer. Guest stays limited to 60 days.

The Jupiter Inlet Village has been lovingly tagged as “Funky”. It is a blend of commercial & residential uses while giving a nod to the area’s past historic fishing village. You will be able to stroll to all the nearby things our area has to offer: Beach, Inlet, Parks, Restaurants/Bars (with/without live music), Tennis, Golf Short Course, Convenience Store, Miniature Golf, Paddle Boarding, Canoeing.

The Oasis is a spacious, fully equipped, clean and modern, pet friendly, private guest house, with a large kitchen/dining area, living room area and King size bed, as well as 2 twin air mattresses. The guest house looks out to a large saltwater pool that is shared with the main house. Please note: We don’t allow dogs in the pool and SMOKING IS PROHIBITED.

Outdoor
Filled with tropical, lush landscaping, swaying palm trees and 100's of plants and fruit trees, this 1.25 acre outdoor retreat is completely fenced in and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into your own tropical oasis. Take a dip in the large saltwater pool, enjoy the outdoor shower after a day at the beach, lounge in the hammock, enjoy a meal and your favorite beverage outside on the patio or make s'mores by the fire pit in the evening, bring your furry friends and enjoy lots of walking and biking trails in the neighborhood. You will have your own separate entrance from the main entrance, on the side of the property, with your own private gate and driveway. The driveway is large enough to accommodate 2 cars and or most RV's. There are also 2 bikes available for use in the shed.

Other things to note
The neighborhood is very safe and conveniently located close to everything you need. The yard and pool is shared with the hosts (family with young kids) that live in the main house. The pool is not fenced; please note this if booking with young children (parents assume all liability for their children while on the property). We have a super friendly dog and hairless cat on the property that both love to interact with our guests.
