Guest house also shares garden with main house. We can use garden for our own purpose like sitting there in the evening or just spending time with family in the garden. We may use garden for BBQ too and guest, if willing, can join us.
There is a beautiful Duck pond, Laapersveld just 600 metres away from our place which is nice place to enjoy the nature and relax and also there are forest nearby to walk in the woods.
This tiny guest house (20m2) is situated just south of Hilversum city center.
The guest house is separate from our main house and can be reached through the side entrance into our cozy garden.
The guest house is your private place and has its own bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The bedroom/living room are decorated in a romantic and retro style and have 2 doors opening into the garden. The bed is comfortable and there is there are 2 seats.
The space
When you stay with us you can use the garden. You can enjoy an outside fire place, the outside dinner table and (for the active ones) the trampoline ;-)

Yellow Brick House is a beautiful studio in the backyard of our home. Enjoy a colorful and atmospheric space, with its own entrance and outdoor terrace. Very centrally located within walking distance of the city, the station or nature.
The space
The studio (20m2) is surprisingly high (with a beautiful large skylight), in which we have built a sleeping loft. The bright green bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. The open kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal: nespresso machine, kettle, induction plate, refrigerator, microwave and basics such as oil, pepper and salt. The sleeping loft (with a 140x200cm bed) is accessible via an open staircase in the room. During the cold days in the Netherlands you can enjoy the underfloor heating in the living room. And on beautiful, sunny days, you just enjoy breakfast outside on the terrace (sun until 12 noon).
Guest access
The entrance to the house is around the corner, in an alley (Van Leeuwenhoekstraat). Paid parking is available right in front of our door, but you can park for free around the corner and further afield. Hilversum Central Station is an 8-minute walk away. From there Amsterdam is only 20 minutes away by train. In consultation there are 2 folding bicycles available.
Other things to note
Since the sleeping area has a limited height (you can't stand there), this location is less suitable for older people. An open, narrow staircase leads to the sleeping loft. The space is therefore also less suitable for children under 6 years old and people with a (serious) fear of heights.
Atmospheric studio on the first floor. The studio has all the comforts; have a kitchenette, bathroom and including air conditioning for hot summer days. You have private access to the studio through your own entrance. Located in Hilversum city center and close to the station, so you can be in Amsterdam, Utrecht or Amersfoort within 20 minutes.
Modern, fully renovated guesthouse in central Hilversum. From Hilversum it is 20mins by train to Amsterdam. Short walk to shops and restaurants. You will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and floor heating throughout. Fast wifi and our quiet neighborhood are ideal for remote working or relaxing with the family. Single level house with the exception of the basement area allows for easy access.
The space
The house features one cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and wardrobes. An extra bedroom with two single beds in the sous terrain space. Please note the basement room has a steep staircase as shown in the pictures and would be best suited for adults or older children. It is an open access without a door. Enjoy the 50 inch TV and Blu-ray player or plug in your own device to watch movies.
The main area consists of a dining area with an extendable table, a large modern kitchen with all essentials for cooking and baking and a large fridge/freezer. There is also a lounge area next to the backdoor leading to the backyard outdoor area.
The brand new bathroom features a good sized shower, towel drying rack and a washer/dryer. Floor heating ensures a cozy stay even on colder days.
