Our comfortable two-storey guest suite in the annex building in the garden offers a living room, bedroom and private terrace.

The living room has a comfortable couch, TV, coffee maker, kettle, oven and fridge. The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower, toilet and sink.

In the bedroom on the first floor you can sleep in a comfortable bed of 1.80 m by 2.20 m. We offer tasty ingredients that you can use to make breakfast when it suits you best. Enjoy!

The comfortable suite with lots of privacy is located on one of the most beautiful walking, cycling and motorbike routes in the Netherlands with a wide view of the Meijepolders. Less than a kilometer away you will find a restaurant and the Meije hiking trail next to the Nieuwkoop lakes. Amsterdam, Schiphol, The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam are a 30-minute drive away. The Amsterdam RAI, Jaarbeurs Utrecht and the Keukenhof are also easily accessible.

We have 2 city bikes available (1 men and 1 ladies bike). A public bus from Woerden or Bodegraven station stops four times a day in De Meije at 1 km walking distance. Parking is possible on own ground. We have a covered motorbike parking.

We are a working couple, so we wake up early on weekdays. We love meeting new people and are happy to share all the information we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you arrive after 10 p.m open the guest suite with the key from the key safe (it is not necessary to knock).

During the restoration and furnishing, as many old details of the building as possible have been preserved and materials, colors and items have been used that match the nostalgic look. The atmosphere will make you feel like you are going back a century in time, while you are equipped with all modern comforts.

The space
The guesthouse has a ground floor and an upper floor. The short (10 steps) but very steep staircase to the upper floor is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

On the ground floor, you will find the cozy 12-square-meter dining kitchen with an original granite countertop and a table with chairs. This is the space where you can enjoy your breakfast and make your own coffee and tea. Cooking is not possible. The decor makes you feel like you've traveled back a century.

Behind the authentic wooden sliding door are the modern shower with thermostat faucet, sink and toilet.

The French doors overlook the garden in which there are several seating areas that you can use. The free-range chickens and crowing roosters in the yard will welcome you.

Via the short but very steep stairs, you can reach the bedroom on the upper floor of 24 square meters. There is plenty of room to place your luggage here. Under the antique beams of the original track hood are the two single beds. The television can also be found here.
